The research paper tackles several names of villages, towns, markets, and geographical locations that are mentioned in common Mosul proverbs because they are associated with many matters, for example, a historical event or devaluation of social values, or metaphors and euphemisms. Also, some of those places were famous for their natural wealth, a certain service, or even the vendors' callings for attracting attention to the crops of a certain town and the quality of its goods

Yaya Bin Sadoon is an Andalusian from Cordoba. He got his sciences in Andalusia and was specialized in Quranic sciences especially the readings and the sciences of Alhadeeth Alnabawi Alshreef. He travelled to Almashreq Al-Islami to continue study like all Andalusians , whereby this travel constituted an important stage in the advance of those interested in science. Sources did not specify the year of his travel, yet in (515 A.H/1121 A.D), he was in Egypt. He visited Mosul which was one of the places he visited in his to the orient. He was taught by some f its scholars like Abi Alqasim Issa Bin Ahmed Bin Hibat Allah Al-Mosuli and Abi Aldr Yaqut Bin Abdulallah, then he headed to Iraq and beyond the river. What is noticeable in his travel is that he returned to Mosul and stayed and settled down in it. He remained in Mosul until his death in (576 A.H/1172 A.D) where he was buried. During his stay there, he was of the prominent scholars in Mosul. Mosulis and those people coming from outside benefitted a lot from him; his presence attracted science student namely those studying Alhadeeth Alnabawi Alshreef.
His travel and the things he did during which are the subject of our study, with a focus on his visit and stay in Mosul besides his scientific contribution in it. You will get to know the most prominent Mosuli scholars who were the object of many students from abroad, in addition to the most famous figures who were in Mosul during the sixth/twelfth century A.H.

Mosul is one of the pioneering cities of Iraq in sports activities. Attempts to establish sports teams date back to the 1930s، when applications were submitted to Mutasarrifiyyah of Mosul Liwa and the Ninawa directorate of police for permission to establish sports teams in Mosul، such as the al-Jazirah Team in 1934 and the al-Ahli Team in 1949، among many others. The team forming movement continued as time passed in Mosul until the establishment of the team of Mosul in 1957، and Al-Futuwah in 1960.
The above-mentioned teams remained working Activitly to develop the sports movement in the city, and they were able to gain good results in their sports careers at the Iraqi level, but at the same time, they all faced a lack of Iraqi government support and a shortage of money. At the turn of the century,government support increased, and the teams received annual governmental grants-in-aid like other Iraqi teams، which boosted competition between them and with other Iraqi provinces, particularly in some activities such as basketball, weightlifting، track and field، handball، and volleyball; they also won many Iraqi Championships, and the situation remained improving until the period when Iraq was embargoed (1991-2003).
The researcher tries to shed light on one of those teams, i.e., the Al-Mustaqbal al-Mushriq sports team, which took over a park that has belonged to the Municipality of Mosul as its headquarters since its establishment in 2004 up until now, after obtaining an official license. The team's role came to the fore in developing the sports movement in Mosul by adopting some modern activities such as Takeonejetsu and many local sports activities that already existed in the city

The research aimed to answer the following two questions:
- What is the level of distributed leadership practice among the heads of departments of the faculties of the University of Mosul from the teachers' point of view?
- What is the level of leadership practice distributed among the heads of departments of the faculties of the University of Mosul from the point of view of the teachers according to the scientific title variable (professor - assistant professor / teacher - assistant teacher)?
The research was limited to a sample of teachers in the faculties of the University of Mosul for the academic yea2021-2022, the research sample consisted of (410) teachers who were chosen from (6) colleges, with (3) science colleges and (3) humanities colleges, making up (10%) of the research community.
In terms of the research tool, the researcher used the enrollment level scale distributed among the heads of departments of the faculties of the University of Mosul, which was built by the researcher based on the procedures of an exploratory study, and relying on some literature and standards that I have seen. By selecting one of the five alternatives indicated for each paragraph (very large, large, medium, little, very little) according to the Likert scale, after finding indications of apparent validity, content validity, and construction validity for it, and finding the stability of the scale was adopted

The political, economic, social and cultural events that took place at the level of the city of Mosul after the events of ISIS gangs and the subsequent societal changes that led to the development and emergence of the role of the work of non-governmental organizations, especially international ones, as part of the global concern for the reconstruction and development of the city of Mosul, and from this standpoint several international organizations have worked To activate volunteer work in the city in the social and economic aspect, in different roles that it plays from the work of the official government agencies, it has provided its services to various social segments and at the level of all sectors in an attempt to reduce pressure on the work of the Iraqi government, especially since the government was unable to face these challenges, as it had I emerged from the largest humanitarian crisis in the history of the world.
This research dealt with three topics, the first topic dealt with the definition of non-governmental organizations that worked in the city of Mosul and what are the most prominent of these organizations that worked in this field and mentioned the reasons for the spread of the work of organizations in the city, while the second topic dealt with the work of organizations in the aspect of social development, while The third topic dealt with mentioning the most prominent pros and cons of the work of non-governmental organizations, and finally the results of the study were mentioned with mentioning the recommendations in order for the reconstruction and development campaign to be in the best image for the city of Mosul.

Death is one of the greatest problems in the history of human consciousness.It is regarded as an existential challenge that is an absentee phenomenon in which a human is unable to know his/her essence since the death is part of the other world which is unknown world that by its nature causes panic and dismay. Besides, many interpretations, opinions, beliefs and rituals have abounded from the first moments when an individual feels the inevitability of death and beyond, thus diversifying beliefs and rituals related to death in their connotations, concepts and contents. Among them, death is regarded as the door of pessimism, some as falling within the circle of human feelings, and the other as metaphysical (religious and non-religious) perceptions.
Death in Christianity is a process of transition of spirit where physical bodies dirt and allow the soul to be free from its physical framework. It is lying in the dirt or in the darkness of the grave. Death is a transition from this world to another world and another life where the soul is separated from the body and being far from the relatives and loved ones .
The soul goes to the other place deserved i.e to the place of righteousness or to the place of evil. The last residence of the Christian body is the grave whereas the soul to the eternal residence. This transition is accompanied by a series of liturgies that christians deem necessary for the spirit to cross from the physical world to the intangible world. This is what we will investigate about in this research

The important findings of the present research are the following:
1-Baghdida's inhabitants take care of their christian faith, which believes in another life after death when confronted with it.
2- The special liturgies of the death are a mixture of religious rituals, ecclesiastical rituals, and popular beliefs that support each other. The goal of liturgie is to help the alive and friends of the deceased and to strengthen the spirit of the present alive people so that they can pass the state of grief and hope for resurrection and new life.
3-Rituals of death are directed at those who are alive where they help them to accept the idea of death.
4- There have been changes in this ritual due to the changing of socio-economic conditions.
5- The church continues to perform a central role in the death.
6- Baghdida's community responds normally to the death incident and demonstrates through its rituals cooperation, solidarity and synergy among its members.
7- All funeral decrees and ritual symbols try to emphasize that death is not the end of the road or the end of the life , but the beginning of a new and full life.

The current research aimed at building a scale of adaptation skills for Mosul University students, depending on several theories including the theory of psychological analysis, theory of the social learning, theory of training on the skills and Ericson's theory. The sample of the research consisted of (400) male and female students from the scientific and humanities departments at Mosul University. The researcher prepared (48) items preliminarily and the apparent validity was used. One item was deleted and the total number of the items became (47) items and then the apparent validity, construction validity, auto validity and the logical validity were determined. Also, the discrimination and the relationship of the item with the total score were calculated. In addition to that, invariability was calculated using the retesting and Alpha-Cronbach methods. The results of the study led to building a scale that is characterized with validity, invariability and discrimination. The researchers recommend to use the scale to measure the adaptation skills applying it to different age groups. They also suggest conducting future studies using the scale to measure the adaptation skills and their relationships to other variable like self-confidence and the patterns of the personality.

The aim of the current research is to know the impact of the psychosocial support program for investigating Post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD and to know the differences between the pre and post tests for Post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD, and for the purpose of achieving this, the two researchers have constructed the Post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD measure for children (affected by the phrase incident) consisting of (15) items and a support program Psychosocial consists of (12) lessons that include a group of activities (recreational, artistic, sports, emotional, social, play, imagination), and after extracting the truth and consistency of the research tools, they were applied to the research sample that included (13) students, of whom (4) were survivors from the accident of the ferry sink and (9) of those who lost one of their family members in the accident, all of whom were from Al-Mubdee'oon Elementary Private School. And after the statistical treatment of the data, the results indicated that the program used led to a reduction of Post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD among the sample members, as the differences in disturbances for the pre and post tests were in favor of the post test. In light of these results, the two researchers formulated a set of recommendations and proposals.
