There is wide space between narrative objectivity and poetic subjectivety enriched by a variety of literary geners . however, the general development of life diminished sore of that space , and thus the space between the tow is narrowed . The need for new literary forms is associated with a strong wish to cope with the quick movement of life . as a result the different literary forms come closed to each other in order to be rich enough to reflect the creativity of modern life . Borders between literary genres are removed so that the elements of one literary form are no more only his own . it is about such closeness among literary creations that this research revolves .

This is a review of the poetry of AL-Qaism AL-Assad Bin Ebraheem AL-Assad( Dead in 440 Hijri ) Known as Ibn Balitta , the Andalusi and Carthaginian . He Was one of Writers in the Andalusi Island after roving its regions in the East and West , visiting the Kings there and brandishing and addressing them with the most eloquent of his poetry . Ibn Balitta was an orator and prose writer according to the literature dealing with him . In addition to being great poet , he was a great Knight as well .
The present paper consists of two sections ; the first covers his name , surname , birth , viewpoints regarding his poetry , and the themes of his poetry as praise , romance , description , his influence on other poets and others' influence on him with an artistic study of his language , style and music . The second section gathers the remaining of his poetry from heritage Resources with a proof of the difference of narrations in this regard

This paper tries to trace the levels of receiving the Arabic criticism and its most remarkable critical proposal put forward by one of the most significant poets of modernism and the most influental on the modern Arab poetry namely ; the English critic and poet T.S.Eliot . The most important sections in the paper have been devoted to examine the various readings of Eliot's '' The Waste Land '' . His invitation to introduce the every day used language into the poetic text has been viewed too . While doing his text, the poet depends on a group of styles which determines the way to the world of creation including the style of repetition , technical technique which has its presence in the old and new – containing its two types : vertical and free – Arabic poem . This paper deals with the types of repetition and their impact in forming several poems written by Nazar Khabani . This can be done by depending on the complete reading of the text under psychological factors and this can lead us according to Khabani’s poetry to observe new types concerning the style of repetition other than the common, classical types . The receiver will notice that this style has its contribution with the other styles of poetry in the formation of poetical text in Khabani’s poems and its rise from semantic and musical point of view .

This research is an investigation of the book " Aldurar in parsing the beginnings of Surahs " Written by Sheikh Ahmed bin Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Sujai . It is an explanation for a poem of ten lines which gather the separate letters in the beginnings of some surahs of the Holy Quran . We may say that the most important matters in this particular book are his interest in parsing single words in their structure but different in their meaning which are abnormal in the speech of Arabs . this , of course , differs from the parsing science of Arabs which dose not study the word except through putting it in a context that can be understood . Our method in the investigation is write an introduction for the book by a study which involved writing down the cv of the auth\or and clarifying the contents of the book and its value .

This study deals with Iben Malek`s. own evidences in his book Shareh Al-Tashil These evidences varies as to nouns , verbs, and prepositions . the study seeks to analyze stylistic and rhctorical semantics in these evidences.

The correlation of sound to meaning is a crucial issue in linguistics. This issue met with a considerable attention from Quranic scholars as the Quran, as is well known, is excellent is manipulating the utterances that denote the
intended meaning elegantly. This verbal elegance appears through the use of certain letters in the context of the word which itself is part of the sentence context that ultimately makes up the Sura context. This paper attempts to apply this correlation or harmony with facts (linguistics, jurisprudent, and communal) in Al-Takweer Sura. Facts are
classified in to these three categories in order to give each word investigated in this sura its due dictionary description. This correlation or harmony between sound and meaning comes mainly from impression and repetition

This paper deals with a controversial problem between Al Basreen and Al Kofeen grammarians. This problem caused responses from some grammarians and interpreters. These responses raised many questions, for example, when Abu Hayaan talked about "In" used to mean "Ith", stating that " neglect who used "In" to mean "Ith" and make conditional rather than adverbial." If this will make "In" adverbial rather than conditional, then what is the reason that made Al Kufeen believe so. It is well known that "In" is a conditional particle and "Ith" nominal and "In" expresses the future and "Ith" expresses continuity. "In" is a particle which expresses timeless condition, while "Ith" expresses time and adverbially. These issues and some others are raised here in this study aiming at answering them via unbiased showing views of grammarians and interpreters regarding this point. Our aim is to show evidence provided by both groups according to grammatical basis and rules. After showing what both groups believe in regarding our issue and, what interpreters say about it, I discussed the issue revealing which one of the two is closer to the linguistic reality.
This will be done through analyzing proves and pieces of evidence related to that issue, then I mentioned views of some new grammarians with regard to that issue. I arrived at the conclusion that there in no problem if " Conditional In" is used as " Adverbial ", though some grammarians comment on some of the positions where "In" that expresses doubt saying" if the sentence is doubtful, "In" is conditional and if it is not conditional it means "Ith". Thus there is no need to get into diverse interpretations in the same position. That is because they do not want to give up an idea they presented or a saying they raised earlier. If we have a look at the many interpretations and opinions regarding the same Quran verse, we will say definitely that they thought like this because they wanted to value too low the opinion that says "In" means "Ith" and may be the weakening of this opinion by Al Basreen was a unjustifiable. The Sheikh Muhee Al Din Abdul Hameed described Al Basreen's opinion as being unjustifiable after mentioning three things that support Al kufeen opinion. Al Sheikh Muhee said " Al Basreen maneuver on three things; when the action passed they claimed it is past verbally future in meaning, because it is wanted to be like this. Regarding not mentioning the answer, they claimed that is deleted since it is clear from the sentence. Regarding Fathul Hamzah, they denied its presence.

It is quite clear that the main trend in modern Semitics differs from earlier ones, since the emphasis is clearly illustrated on descriptive semantics, this paper is an attempt to study the inner structure of the sentential meaning.
We believe that contemporary semantics is characterized by an obvious interest in relations between language function and human thinking. It is believed that human language is no longer regarded as a mere instrument for expressing thoughts. Human language is realized as a semantic influence by its own form. It shapes and predetermines human thoughts semantically into specific channels of communication. In semantics the impact of language on human thought can be realized, analyzed and understood more clearly than before. The vision of language as a system of independent elements, tide to each other, lies in the roots of structural linguistics is no longer valid always. In functional semantics, language is found to an organized totality in which the various elements are thought of as an interdependent whole showing their significance from the system of the language itself.

Both English and Arabic include different expressions which are combinations of different structures that are constructed to express the functions in the use of language. Wishing and imploring expressions are considered one of these expressions, they are requested expressions which are used for asking purposes to reflect the psychological state of personal attitudes and desires of the speaker. At the same time, this study is a contrastive one which aims at finding out how these expressions can be constructed at the levels of, semantics and pragmatics.
The study aims at:
1. presenting theoretical material about the syntactic constructions of wishing and imploring expressions in addition to the semantic functions of these expressions.
2. Showing how these constructions are realized in Arabic.
3. Showing the points of similarities and differences of wishing and imploring expressions in English and Arabic.
4. Clarifying and clarifying the case of wishing and imploring expressions syntactically and semantically.
The paper is presented in two main sections, an introduction and conclusions. The first section discusses the wishing and imploring expressions in English with their major types. The second section deals with wishing and imploring expressions in Arabic, giving sufficient examples from the glorious Qur'an and shedding light on the rhetorical purposes behind such uses. This paper aims at exploring the application and subsequent subversion of the generic conventions of detective narrative in the Metaphysical Detective novel with particular reference to the first novel, City of Glass, in Paul Auster's The New York Trilogy (1990) which is exemplary work of this postmodernist subgenre. In addition to identifying these generic conventions and what happens to them the paper also seeks to pins point the specific postmodernist textual tactics and strategies that Auster, and other practitioners of the subgenre, employ in their subversion of the detective to explore such metaphysical issues as identity, reality, and the nature of authorship

This research sheds light on the advertisements in general and on commercial advertisements in particular. It tries to explore the role of inference following the integrated typology of inference proposed by (Melchenko,2003) based on Grice's theory of conversational and conventional implicature. This typology is applied on seven commercial advertisements recorded from different international channels. The analysis of these data will show that how advertisers may use different ways to make their message (overt or covert) more persuasive.

The paper sheds light on the naturalistic aspects in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men (1937). It depicts the novelist's presentation of the hard conditions of the poor farmers and workers at the time. It also gives a short introduction about the nature of naturalism in the USA and its major characteristics. A brief plot overview is mentioned and the major characters are discussed. A special focus is made on the characters as they cope with the overwhelming and controlling forces represented by the environment and circumstances that determine their status in life.
In conclusion, the paper shows how such forces degrade the human beings into animals with animalistic qualities due to their useless search for unattainable dreams

This paper attempts to analyze the metaphorical expressoins used by Charles Dickens in his distinct novel Hard Times. The core of any metaphorical expression lies in abstract conceptual, connotative and symbolic terms which commit the readers to encipher such expressions and grasp the intended meaning behind each metaphorical expression. Metaphors are prominent linguistic devices which are deeply embedded in linguistic and literary expressions to enforce the suggestive meanings and symbolic meanings of such expressions. Metaphors are value-laden but socially conditioned. To understand the metaphorical expressions, one must explore their component elements including the target and domain areas and map their meanings as such to be interpreted according to the context of situation in which the metaphorical expression is uttered. This, in fact, is a significant factor in analyzing such expressions and grasping their intended meanings.

This paper tries to shed light on Margret Edson's treatment of the subject of death in her play Wit (1991). Death is used to be the horrible fact in life and usually presented on the stage frightful and detestable. The paper shows how the playwright succeeds in turning this horrible fact into something highly educational that needs not to be afraid of due to the fact that it is a step towards the everlasting life.
