Gwendolyn Brooks has found herself in a double bind, first because of her "race or ethnicity" as an African American, and at that time because of her femininity. Brooks's writing demonstrates this twofold strain. Brooks is proud of her ethnicity and culture, and she also promotes and celebrates femininity. This study aims to examine the subject of racism in Black American poetry using descriptive techniques by examining certain works by Gwendolyn Brooks. So, Brooks attempts to portray the social injustice and oppression of women of her community that occurred in the 1960s of the 20th century. However, Brooks's modern poetry became an attempt to persuade black people to be heavily associated with their history in order to achieve their essential responsibilities in the community. Furthermore, Brooks emphasizes the need for humanistic respect and love as among the most important prerequisites for a happy life.

Fallacies are common errors in an argument and they undermine the logic of that argument. They obstruct the process of argumentation since they do not contribute to the resolution in difference in opinion. The current study investigates fallacies in four religious argumentative debates between Muslims and atheists. It adopts Toulmin et al (1984) as a model for analysis. Results show that both debating parties, Muslims and atheists commit fallacies but the latter exceeds the former quantitatively and qualitatively. The most common fallacies in Muslims’ arguments are straw man argument, poisoning the well and attacking the person whereas the straw man argument, argument from ignorance, hasty generalization and appeal to compassion are the most committed ones by atheists.

This research aims to know the effect of the memory tape strategy on the expressive performance of the students of the five primary grades, and the research sample consisted of 93 male and female students distributed among the research groups (experimental and control). The study follows a multidisciplinary approach of CDA starting with an overview of CDA shedding light on its roots, critical meaning, It focuses on the theory of ideology giving its definitions, its history, its structure and forms, as well as the mechanisms through which it works. The present study adopts an eclectic model of van Dijk (1991) and Fairclough (1989) which deploys linguistically three different tools to analyze (56) selected texts of the editorials. These tools include syntactic modality, semantic presupposition and stylistic hyperbole.
The results reveal that Qatar isolation is represented negatively rather than positively, which means that editors view Qatar and the U.S as one group ideology and Arab Quartet as its opposite ideology. This indicates the U.S underlying ideology and ideological reverberations such as hegemony, dominance and superiority. The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of Neural Branching Strategy in the achievement of meeting material among second-grade intermediate students. The sample of the research was (64) students, who were distributed into two groups equally between experimental and control, and parity was conducted in the variables (age in months, general average, previous knowledge, IQ).

Although self-directed learning is regarded as a skill of the 21st century and as a motivation for students in educational practice and theory, self-directed learning is considered to be challenging for most teachers to be integrated into their practice. Meanwhile, teachers are required to consider each student as a unique and distinguished individual. This means that students in every classroom have diverse talents and abilities to learn differently and are able to develop at a different level. Thus, Iraqi EFL preparatory school teachers must be informed of all ideas, concepts, and methods relating to English language learning.
The current study aims at finding out how Iraqi EFL preparatory school teachers perceive teacher competencies of self-directed learning and if there are any significant differences between them due to their gender and years of experience. The participants are (300) EFL preparatory school teachers from Baghdad Governorate / the General Directorate of Education - Al-Karkh 3rd. An online closed questionnaire has been submitted to the participants using Google forms. The results reveal that Iraqi EFL preparatory school teachers have positively perceived teacher competencies of self-directed learning, and that there are significant differences between them according to their years of experience.

The study aimed to identify the extent of their possession of Managing proactive vitality in the context of their medical work, and the extent of their professional moral courage. The research problem was summarized by the following question: Is there a relationship between Managing proactive vitality and professional moral courage among medical staff (doctors - nurses). The research sample consisted of (213) doctors and nurses working in health isolation hospitals, and the researchers built a Managing proactive vitality scale based on the definition of Op den Kamp et al., 2018, and the scale items were in its final form (33) a paragraph. As well as by building a scale of professional moral courage based on the definition of Sekerka (Sekerka et al. 2007), and the paragraphs of the scale in its final form were (40) items, and honesty and stability were extracted, so the two scales became ready to be applied to the research sample, and after applying and processing the data, The results showed that the research sample of doctors and nurses was distinguished by a high level of Managing proactive vitality, as well as a high level of, professional moral courage, and that there is a positive and significant relationship between Managing proactive vitality and professional moral courage.

Literary translation is the most complex and difficult type among the other types of translation, mainly this is due to the complexity of the literary language itself, and therefore many problems often come along with the process of this translation. This research will present an analytical-contrastive study of the problems of literary translation from Arabic to Spanish, with examples of original texts in Arabic and their respective translations into Spanish. Through the linguistic analysis of translation errors and problems which is applied on our corpus, we intend at the end to extract practical considerations and conclusions to transgress these errors in the future works and participate in the efforts to establish a guideline for the literary translation from Arabic to Spanish.

The current research aims to identify:
1- Digital drugs in adolescents
2- Self-monitoring of adolescents.
3- The nature of the correlation between self-monitoring and digital drugs according to gender (male - female), and specialization (scientific – human).

2- Adolescent students in Baghdad schools enjoy self-monitoring.
3 -There is an inverse negative function relationship between self-monitoring and digital drugs.
4 -There are no statistically significant differences between self-monitoring and digital drugs according to gender (male - female), and specialization (scientific - human).

The objective of this research is to indicate one of the contemporary means of call, that is Friday Prayer to be Adopted by the people in general either it 3as an authority or the public through the call for high principles in the reform and guidance in order to benefit the public interest. This research id divided into three chapters; each chapter includes two enquiries. The first chapter is the methodology frame of the research that includes the research problem, objective and importance, the methodology, instrument, terms and previous studies. The second chapter is the theoretical .First enquiry is the religious discourse .the second enquiry is the press website .The third enquiry is the Friday Prayer it importance and name .The third chapter is dedicated to the analytical study of the Friday Prayer that were published in Alsabah journal website that includes (6) main categories .In the first category comes human rights and fair justice in (13) in (23,44) rate subcategory ,the case of political reform in (11) subcategories in (21,18 ) which takes the second position .Then comes the social cases in (11) subcategories in (18,6) rate in third position .In fourth position comes the security cases (8) subcategories in (15,6) .In the fifth position come the tolerance and accept the other cases(7) subcategories in (10.77) . In the sixth position come the national compromise and peaceful coexistence (6) subcategories in (7.55). Then come the values (3) subcategories in (5%) in seventh position.

Synonymy is a linguistic phenomenon that occurs in all languages, and this phenomenon is closely related to the account of modern linguistic sciences, and it is one of the important phenomena that introduces students to the common parameter of expressions, in addition to the common relations in distinguishing words that are related to each other; According to the semantic division that affects the meaning of the words in these contexts.

Then applying this to selected poems of the poet "Jaleh Esfahani". This has been done according to the descriptive-analytical approach, and here, we shall point out the most important results that we have reached, which are:
In terms of the “Pronoun”, we note the frequent usage of the “third person pronoun a lot” due to the expressive style used by “Jaleh Esfahani” in describing the past world and criticizing the state of her contemporary world. There is a close relationship between the poet and the subject of the poem. Also, we notice the frequent repetition of the predicate verb, and this indicates the poet's close connection to the event, and that most of the topics mentioned are nothing but personal experiences.
