The Northern Arabian Gulf region is important because it have many morphological and landscape, the most important of these landscape are the rivers. Satellite imagery analysis revealed of many traces of discontinued ancient river streams such as Al-Fayeed and Al-Maʼaqel, as well as many ancient courses of presented rivers such as Euphrates, Tigris and Bahamshir. These results were confirmed by sub bottom profilers results which completed in some river channels and that revealed many buried old channels underneath the current river bottoms. Management of groundwater resources requires a comprehensive understanding of the ‎hydrogeological characteristics of the water-bearing layers. Although, the importance of g‎ roundwater resources in the northeastern Missangovernorate, south of Iraq for growing ‎agricultural activities and industrial purposes, there is no study so far to build the conceptual model o‎ f the aquifer system and estimate its hydraulic characteristics. This study aims to use the available w‎ ell log records, field data and pumping test data to study the hydrogeological characteristics of the ‎aquifer system in the Quaternary units which mainly consists of sand and gravel in addition to clay ‎and silt. The autonomy conception of the instructors and students is investigated and evaluated. The results reveal that there is a need to improve the beliefs of college instructors and students.

The current study aimed to preparation of an aqueous and alcoholic extracts of Melia azedarach L.leaves .The antimicrobial activity of these extracts was tested against four strains of bacterial isolates, two of them were Gram-positive, namely Staphyloccocus aureus NCTC6571 standard strain and Staphyloccocus aureus strain from some clinical patients. And other were Gram-negative, namely Escherichia coli ATCC25922 a standard strain and Pseuedomonas aeroginosa clinical strain isolated from some patients. Drug sensitivity test to clinical strains was also tested toward Psuedomonas aeroginosa , Staphyloccocus aureus) to Ciproflaoxacin, Cefoxitin , Strepomycin , Cefoxitin . The clinical bacterial strain Pseuedomonas aeroginosa showed resistance 100% to all antibiotics used in the experiment, while the Staphyloccocus aureus was sensitive to four antibiotics: Ampicillin, Ciproflaoxacin, Ampicillin, and Strepomycin

The Zubair Formation is considered
the main hydrocarbon reservoir in the center and the south of Iraq’ oilfields. The formation has five members, namely, Upper Shale, Upper sand, Middle Shale, Lower sand and Lower shale Members. This work concentrates on the Upper Shale Member of the Zubair Formation in the X-
field in the south area of Iraq.
