Abstract
This research examines the Andalusian poet Ghulam al-Bakri, focusing on his life and poetic works despite the scarcity of biographical information in both classical and modern sources. The study aims to collect his scattered poetry from various Andalusian and Eastern literary, historical, and biographical sources, and to present it according to a clear academic methodology.
The findings indicate that the poet lived during the second half of the 5th century AH and was associated with the court of al-Mu‘tamid ibn ‘Abbad in Seville, where he composed praise poetry and maintained close ties with the ruler. He also lived during the Almoravid period and was a contemporary of several prominent Andalusian poets.
From a literary perspective, Ghulam al-Bakri adhered to the traditional structures of Arabic poetry, excelling mainly in praise, description, and love poetry. His work reflects both the classical Arabic poetic heritage and the unique Andalusian environment, characterized by its natural beauty and cultural diversity. His poetry is marked by clarity, smoothness, and the use of rhetorical devices such as paronomasia and antithesis.

يتناول هذا البحث دراسة الشاعر الأندلسي غلام البكري، مسلطًا الضوء على حياته وشعره، في ظل قلة المعلومات المتوفرة عنه في المصادر القديمة والحديثة. ويهدف البحث إلى جمع نتاجه الشعري المبعثر في كتب الأدب والتراجم والتاريخ الأندلسي والمشرقي، وتحقيقه وفق منهج علمي دقيق.
تبيّن من خلال الدراسة أن الشاعر عاش في النصف الثاني من القرن الخامس الهجري، وكان من شعراء بلاط المعتمد بن عباد في إشبيلية، حيث ارتبط به مدحًا وملازمةً. كما عاصر عددًا من شعراء الأندلس البارزين، وعاش فترة من حياته في ظل الدولة المرابطية.
أما من الناحية الفنية، فقد التزم غلام البكري بالأطر التقليدية للشعر العربي، وبرز في أغراض المدح والوصف والغزل، متأثرًا بالبيئة الأندلسية بما فيها من جمال طبيعي وحضاري. وتميز شعره بالسلاسة والعذوبة، واستخدامه لأساليب بلاغية مثل الجناس والطباق، إلى جانب اهتمامه بوصف الطبيعة ومظاهر الحياة في عصره.
