The study discusses the topic of the Corona virus pandemic and the criminal responsibility imposed on a patient infected with the emerging corona virus when he transmits the infection to other individuals with intent, which varies according to the result of transmitting the infection to a healthy person with his knowledge and will, in accordance with the provisions of Iraqi law and international law and the methods, means and actions he uses The virus vector as a means of spreading it to others with the aim of exposing them to the risk of infection, whether this behavior is intentional or by mistake, and the search for a scope for criminalizing legal texts for these committed acts by reviewing the provisions of the Iraqi Penal Code related to crimes of murder, harm and other crimes and trying to apply them to acts of transmission and dissemination of the emerging corona virus Because the national criminal law in general and the amended Iraqi Penal Code No. (111) of 1969 did not specify the details of criminal responsibility for spreading the disease virus in an independent legal article. The study concluded with a number of results.
