This study is based on two variables, strategic planning and organizational effectiveness where they have been intellectually exposed. Then, it has been tested the impact of strategic planning, as an independent variable, on the variable under study which is the effectiveness of the Ministry of Iraqi Trade. An intentionally sample consists of (30) top leaderships has been tested where their attitudes have been explored and analyzed to verity the nature of strategic planning in the ministry and the extent of its contribution in raising or decreasing its effectiveness. After analysis, it has been confirmed that some of the variables of the sub-study were effective and there were declination of others. Also, it has been acquainted with the positive and negative aspects of the dependent strategic planning process, and came up with recommendation and business mechanisms aim at developing the necessary goals and strategies to achieve the vision of the Ministry of Iraqi Trade.

This paper aims to discuss and analyze the ability of Islamic Banks to avoid the negative impact of the World Financial Crisis. The paper begins with certain questions the most important of which is Whether those banks have been able to avoid the negative impact of the said crisis ? The paper tries to answer those questions at the end of the paper. The causes and the impact of the world financial crisis are discussed, then a brief discussion on the Islamic Banks, their functions, their special features and their differences from conventional ones, as well as their growth during the last two decades. The paper also carries out a critique for the Islamic banks- their weaknesses and the challenges facing those banks. Finally, the paper concludes with some recommendations which can enhance the role and development of those banks.

Investment play an important part in activating and advancement of any economy and shed light on the importance of this investment in Iraqi economy . But there are a set of problems , the preclude these local investments which led to ceasing its development although there are several investment opportunities in various sectors on the level of Iraqi Governorates . One of these problems regarding the needed capital to exploit these investment opportunities . As Iraq is need for new financial sources to reconstruct part of what wars and siege had destroyed , and the problem of experts and skills needed to establish the projects ( the opportunities). So the research presented a map for investment opportunities in various sectors for all Iraqi Governorates and their analysis. In the same time the research emphasized that this is a result of the weakness in financy the budget in fields of investment and Banking sectors . And their effectiveness in activating the local investment in Iraq. And the manner of financing these investment opportunities must come from foreign investment which remedy these economic problems in field of financing as well as to overcome unemployment .

This study was Displays the problem of deteriorating environmental conditions experienced by Iraq and is still, as it sought to analyze a range of challenges in the environment of Iraq, for the period 2003-2010.
The study used descriptive and analytical approach to address the phenomenon, as well as draw lessons from international experiences, especially the successful German experience in this area, also addressed the environmental challenges at the national and international levels.
The traditional view that prevailed, and based on the separation of the environmental dimension of economic and social dimensions of development interactions has changed, especially after the establishment of the Ministry of Environment in 2003, and after approval by the Iraqi Council of Representatives on environmental laws, and on impact of Iraq to the international community, and conclusion of international agreements in the field of environment and sustainable development, as well as the emergence of civil society organizations, which have undertaken the responsibility of defending the environment in Iraq.

The Transfer Function – Noise Models have an important role in Multivariate Time Series Analysis , and it consider as one of the Subjects that have an urgent Application in Economic ,Industrial fields , …, ect .
The Application was on monthly data of time series , namely , Demand gap of foreign currency , and the sales of foreign currency . The studied Model , the Transfer Function – Noise with single inputs – single output ( SISO ) is compared with other suggested Model , namely , ARMA Model , and it is found that the studied Model is the best depends on the measurements MSE , NAIC , NBIC .

This paper shed light on the relationship between economic growth and unemployment in Iraq by using Okun’s law to determine the potential output. Our results indicate to a decline in Okun’s coefficient which consistent with weak job recovery. And the increasing growth rate does not sufficient condition for decreasing unemployment rate in Iraq. The results also show that Iraqi economy still unproductive with idle production capacity and not diversified.Furthermore, the structure of labor market is inflexible and dominated by government and one sector represented by oil sector which is not intensive-labor.
