Education must keep pace with scientific developments that are expected to continue rapidly. This imposes more responsibilities on education, including thinking of new methods and strategies that go beyond traditional frameworks, and educational designs are one of these methods that came as a result of the urgent need to alleviate educational problems and to find a science that links theory and educational practice, and describes educational-educational activities to improve their outcomes with the least costs and efforts, so the research aimed at the following: 1. Building an (educational-learning) design to teach the periodic table of elements according to the overall theory. .2 Identifying the effect of design (educational - learning) on ​​both: A - Acquisition of chemical concepts. B - Cognitive preference. To verify the second objective of the research, the researcher formulated five null hypotheses. To achieve the first objective of the research, the researcher carried out a number of procedures, which can be summarized as follows: * Building the design (educational - learning) based on the overall theory and included four main stages: (analysis, planning, implementation, evaluation). The researcher prepared two tests: - Chemical concepts acquisition test, consisting of (60) multiple-choice items. - Cognitive preference test, consisting of (25) test items for its four types, then verifying their validity and stability. The experiment was conducted during the period from 12/22/2006 to 4/26/2007. The two tests were applied after the experiment was completed on the two groups. The research reached a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.

The study aims to know the effectiveness of using homework via the Internet compared to traditional homework and their relationship to the attitude towards mathematics and achievement in its teaching methods. To achieve this goal, the researcher used two tools, the first of which was the Aiken Mathematics Attitude Scale, consisting of 20 items, while the second was an achievement test prepared by the researcher. The two tools were applied to the research sample consisting of 62 female students from the second grade, specializing in mathematics / College of Education in Ibri, Sultanate of Oman, totaling 93 students. The researcher used arithmetic means, standard deviations and the t-test as statistical methods to process and analyze the data. The research reached many results, the most important of which were the following: 1. There is no statistically significant difference between the average responses of the students of the first experimental group who were given homework via the Internet in the attitude towards mathematics before and after taking homework, which means that there is no positive role for using the Internet in giving homework. .2 There is a statistically significant difference between the average answers of the students of the second experimental group who were given homework in the traditional way in the direction towards mathematics and in favor of giving homework in the traditional way, which means that using traditional homework has a major role in forming positive attitudes towards mathematics. .3 There is no statistically significant difference between the average answers of the students of the first experimental group who were given homework via the Internet and the second experimental group who were given homework in the traditional way in the direction towards mathematics, which indicates that neither method of giving homework is superior in increasing the direction towards mathematics. 4. There is no statistically significant difference between the average answers of the students of the first and second experimental groups in achievement, which indicates that neither method of giving homework is superior in advancing the level of achievement among students.

It is a reliable source of its authenticity from which knowledge is easily drawn, and it helps develop the mental abilities of students. Despite this importance and status that literary criticism enjoys, it still suffers in our universities from neglect, weak teaching, and students' reliance on memorization and recitation for the purpose of success only. Thus, literary criticism has not achieved the purpose of teaching it in Iraqi universities, which is to stand on the aesthetic and artistic aspects of the literary text, and to rely on specific books at the university level, but they have not received their due study and research. In light of this, the research problem focused on the extent to which the criticism material achieves the educational objectives designated for it. The research was limited to analyzing the content of the Modern Literary Criticism book in light of the educational objectives, as it is one of the books approved in teaching the vocabulary of the Modern Literary Criticism material.

The study aimed to identify the effect of using the difficult parts method in learning the technical performance and achieving the digital level in the javelin throwing activity for female students. The research sample consisted of first-year students in the Department of Physical Education - College of Education for Girls - University of Kufa, numbering 28 students. After their equivalence, they were divided into two equal groups, one of which was experimental and used the difficult parts method, and the other was a control group in which the traditional learning method was used, for a period of seven study units. The researcher used the experimental method for its suitability and the nature of the research. The data were processed statistically. The researcher concluded that using the difficult parts method in the javelin throwing activity for female students has a positive effect on learning the technical performance and achieving the digital level.

The research contained five chapters, where the first chapter included the introduction and the importance of the research and the role of sports psychology in training and competitions and the role of psychological pressures that the player is exposed to during training and competitions, which leads him to adopt aggressive behavior, which appears in many activities, including handball, which is characterized by the cohesion of the players and that there are some rules that permit this cohesion, and the problem of the research lies in the fact that the player does not have sufficient ability to complete the match as a result of his weak physical, skill and psychological fitness, which leads to his behavior being aggressive, and the study aimed to identify the relationship between psychological pressures and aggressive behavior among handball players in Iraq, and the researchers assumed that there is a significant correlation between psychological pressures and aggressive behavior among handball players in Iraq. In the second chapter, the concept of psychological pressures and aggressive behavior and some literature and theories of these two concepts were discussed. As for the third chapter, the descriptive approach was used using the correlational relations method. The research sample was the elite league handball players, numbering 88 players. Appropriate tools were also used for the research, including the psychological pressure and aggressive behavior scales. In order to achieve the research objective, appropriate statistical methods were used, including the Pearson correlation coefficient. The fourth chapter contained a presentation, analysis and discussion of the results. The researchers concluded that there is a significant correlation between psychological pressures and aggressive behavior among handball players in Iraq. The researchers recommended that the coach should use psychological skills when there are pressures that the player is exposed to in training and competition, while adhering to the rules of the game and avoiding aggressive behavior.

Water pollution is one of the most important environmental pollution problems that the waters in Iraq suffer from in general and Najaf in particular. It is one of the problems that has been constantly increasing as a result of the increase in population, rapid scientific development, and the rise in their standard of living. However, this problem increases in the years in which the climatic characteristics change and droughts occur in a way that negatively affects the quantity and quality of that water to a large extent. In order to highlight this problem in Najaf Governorate, the year 2008 was chosen as a dry year compared to the years before and after it (2006, 2007, 2009). To clarify the effect of the climatic characteristics in this year on water pollution in Najaf Governorate, laboratory analyses and tests were collected for the materials and elements present in the waters of the Kufa River during the months of the selected years and for stations (E11 located at the Kufa Corniche and E13 located at the Abu Sakhir District (since the Kufa River does not branch between them in a way that affects the quantity and quality of water in it). The study showed that the climatic characteristics prevailing in Najaf Governorate during 2008 affected the low rates of water discharges in the Kufa River compared to other years, which led to a significant increase in the concentrations of materials and elements present in the water during this year to the extent that they exceed the environmentally permissible limits in most months of the year, and this was confirmed by the analyses and tests. The water laboratory during this year, which made the water in the Kufa River move from the stage of acceptable pollution to the stage of dangerous pollution.. The urgent needs of man depend on water, and despite its survival and purity, it was not treated well as a result of the increase in agricultural and industrial population activities, especially in areas close to the sources of this water, which reduced its natural and chemical properties, as a result of the increase in the concentration of many pollutants in this water.

The fourth chapter included a presentation, analysis and discussion of the results of the data that were reached through the two equations. The results showed a strong relationship between the equation proposed by the researcher and the standardized regression equation, while several conclusions appeared in the fifth chapter, including the proposed equation that gave accurate results for predicting the achievement distance for high jumpers, and a set of recommendations, including the researcher’s recommendation to use the proposed predictive equation to improve coaches’ expectations for high jumpers.
