Abstract:

The subject of this research is an interpretive approach that balances between the words of the interpreters and the narrations of the Household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) in a specific verse from Surah An-Najm, from verse eight to verse ten, which states:
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّى* فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَى* فَأَوْحى إِلى عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحى
Then he approached and descended* And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer* And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed)
The text discusses the night journey of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and the unveiling of the barriers between him and the highest realm. Such divine secrets are only revealed to those who are taken on this journey, namely his Household, to whom he entrusted the secrets of his knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary for us to seek their words (peace be upon them) in explaining "the approached," "the descender," and the recipient of revelation and the implications of inspiration, believing that this is the correct path to comprehend the secrets of the Quran. A deep examination of what the interpreters mentioned reveals linguistic and doctrinal challenges in understanding the text and forming its structural composition, which the researcher uncovers in the body of the research and when recording its resultsThe material is divided into two sections: one section studies the meaning of "the approached" and "the descender" among the words of the interpreters and the narrations of the Household (peace be upon them). The other section reveals "the implications," its recipient, and its content among the words of the interpreters and the narrations of the Household (peace be upon them) The work is then concluded with the most important findings, substantiated by sources and references.

Abstract:

The Interpretation of 'Ruh al-Ma'ani' by Al-Alousi is considered one of the most references among the general interpretations that rely on Imam Al-Baqir and Imam As-Sadiq (peace be upon them), citing their statements. Imam Al-Baqir (peace be upon him) is mentioned in this interpretation over fifty times, while Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) is referenced more than eighty times, in various contexts.
Al-Alousi diversified his interpretation by drawing from Imam Al-Baqir and Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them). At times, he conveys their interpretation of a complete verse, other times the explanation of a single word and its meaning. Occasionally, he narrates from them through the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), sometimes mentioning their perspective on the circumstances surrounding the revelation of a Quranic verse. He also occasionally mentions their recitations if a Quranic phrase was recited in more than one way. Sometimes, he reports what was narrated from them, either denying the authenticity of the narrator or refuting the attribution of those narrations to the Imams. Hence, this research aims to shed light on Al-Alousi's stance regarding the narrations of the Imams (peace be upon them), and its nature necessitated its division into three sections preceded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion.
The research results in several findings, among the most important is that Al-Alousi did not adopt a completely neutral approach toward the statements attributed to the Imams. He accepted those statements as long as they aligned with his beliefs, but rejected or deemed as fabrications any narrations conflicting with his beliefs, attributing such contradictions to the Shi'a (may God treat them accordingly), as he expressed.

The subject of Quranic ambiguity and the methods of interpretation have been contentious topics that sparked debates among scholars, leading to varying articles and discussions, interpretations, and analyses. This compelled the researcher to gather scattered opinions, authenticate them, and conduct a comparative analysis.
The Imams from the Household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) played a significant role in elucidating the concept of Quranic interpretation and its applications. They were described as the just interpreters of the Quran by the Prophet of Mercy (peace be upon him and his family). Hence, they undertook this noble task utilizing their profound intellect, far from what the Quran warned against: seeking discord
The aim of interpretation is to understand, expand, or renew comprehension. The concept holds a dual existence: one in actuality and the other in the intellect. If the physical existence is the primary and the apparent, elevated compared to the hidden nature of intellectual existence, then it becomes evident that the manifested meaning is more prevalent and elevated than the reference to the intellectual existence. Therefore, interpretation involves bringing the intellectual meaning back to the apparent meaning, unveiling the hidden to the evident, and the lower to the higher, considering interpretation in language as a return to the origin

Abstract:

The Infallibles laid the foundation for a set of interpretive principles, some attributed to the reader, others to the text itself, and some to the creator of the text. Understanding these principles assists the reader in comprehending the intended meaning of the Creator. Some of these principles were explicitly stated, while others were inferred from their interpretations of the Quranic texts.
Among the most important principles established in light of the narrations of the Infallibles (peace be upon them) are: the principle of grammatical compatibility and contextual relevance, the principle of interpreting the Quran with the Quran, the principle of the internal aspects of the Quran, the principle of the multiple facets of the Quran, the principle of varying levels of understanding, and the principle of prohibiting interpretation based on personal opinion, and so on.
The research presented the reader-centric principles, which have not been extensively covered in media publications. This study focuses on some of these principles rather than providing a comprehensive overview of all."

The Infallibles laid the foundation for a set of interpretive principles, Relationships between words represent some of the strongest connections within word components, linking them together, referencing one another, and at times establishing an interdependent relationship leading the discourse to become a self-explanatory entity. The relationships between the words and their meanings gradually intensify, making it challenging to untangle or isolate the words from each other.
In the Quranic discourse, we find an excellent field to observe such correlations due to its unique structure in sequences and terminologies. Thus, our attempt was to analyze the coherence of the Quranic discourse by referring back and forth between verses sharing a common theme, then interpreting them in accordance with the associations formed by the context created by both verses. This process practically affirms the coherence of the Quranic discourse, making it a connected, harmonious, and homogeneous speech that integrates seamlessly. The Quranic discourse, in many instances, acted as a glossary of its own essence and a reference for its components.
This mechanism was employed by the Household of the Prophet (peace be upon them) in their interpretation of the Quran. They explained Quranic phrases in harmony with their relevant context within the Quranic discourse by creating linguistic associations with other verses. Their approach established an analytical method of Quranic interpretation based on the concept of interpreting the Quran with the Quran itself, relying on the Quran to elucidate its own meanings and serving as a reference to its essence. This practice stands as one of the greatest proofs of the coherence of the Quranic discourse in its words and the harmony in its meanings.

Abstract:

This research aims to explore the impact of the narrations attributed to Imam Hasan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) in unveiling the meanings of the Quran. As a member of the Household in which revelation occurred, having heard its interpretation from the noble Prophet (peace be upon him), they were best suited to reveal the depths of its meanings and unveil the insights of its interpretation.
The existing Quranic exegeses are interpretations and translations of the opinions and doctrines of their authors, attempts to accommodate their views within the Quranic verses. This doesn't necessarily provide full confidence in the interpretations due to the biases and limitations of the authors. However, what has been narrated from the Household of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is considered the second most authoritative source after the Quran itself. They are the translators of the Quran, having the profound knowledge to comprehend its clear and ambiguous verses, its revelations, and its contextual applications.
The research plan, based on available resources, divides the study into four sections preceded by an introduction and a preamble, followed by a conclusion summarizing the primary findings.

Abstract:
One of the unique investigations carried out by the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them) is the categorization of Quranic verses. This categorization aims to comprehend the purposes of Holy Quran and mastering this requires comprehensive knowledge of Quran and its apparent and hidden secrets. Hence, various categorizations of Quranic verses emerged, such as binary, ternary, quaternary, quinary, and senary categorizations. The latest being the sixty-fold categorization attributed to Amir al-Mu›minin (Peace Be Upon Him). This study aims to illustrate these categorizations with examples, emphasizing their significance as crucial conditions for interpretation and understanding.
