The present research aims to identify (the effectiveness of the strategy of visual thinking networks (VTN) in the achievement of fifth grade literary students in history). 2018-2019.

The research sample reached (60) students (30) students in both the experimental and control group. The researcher formulated behavioral goals for the last three chapters of the history textbook for the fifth grade literary، number (124) goals، and prepared teaching plans for the two research groups، the researcher also prepared a test to measure the level of student achievement after the completion of the experiment، the test consisted of (40) test items of the type Multiple choice، the researcher used a set of statistical methods، and the study found that the students of the experimental group that studied using visual thinking networks were superior to the students of the control group who studied in the usual way in achievement. In light of this result، the researcher came up with several conclusions and recommendations، including the adoption of the strategy of visual thinking networks (VTN in teaching history).
