By analyzing educational literature and reviewing previous studies, the critical role of argumentative questioning in improving critical thinking, enhancing classroom interaction, and developing students' dialogue and discussion skills has been highlighted.
The research findings indicate that argumentative questioning significantly stimulates students to think deeply and critically analyze information, thereby increasing their active participation in the educational process. The use of argumentative questions also helps in creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes active learning and constructive interaction between students and teachers.
However, the practical application of argumentative questioning faces several challenges, including a lack of comprehensive understanding of its importance, some teachers' lack of necessary skills to effectively pose questions, variations in student responses, time constraints, and predefined curricula.
Based on these findings, the research recommends the provision of specialized training programs for teachers to enable them to use argumentative questioning effectively. It also calls for redesigning curricula to allow more space for discussion and dialogue, and for boosting students' self-confidence to encourage their active participation.
In conclusion, the research emphasizes that adopting argumentative questioning as an educational tool can bring about a positive transformation in the educational environment, contributing to more effective and inclusive learning, and better preparing students to face academic and professional challenges.
