Four N-(hydroxy phenyl) maleamic acids were prepared in high yields (90-95)%via reactionof maleic anhydridewithortho, metaand para amino phenols.Dehydration of the prepared maleamic acids via treatment with acetic anhydrideand pyridineproducedthecorrespondingN-(hydroxyphenyl ) maleimides in good yields (70-80)% .Esterification ofthepreparedimideswithacryloylchlorideinthe presence of triethyl amine gave the corresponding maleimidyl acrylateswhich inturn were polymerized free radically to produce new polyacrylates.The prepared compounds were characterizedbyFTIR, U.V and 1HNMR spectroscopy while thermal stabilityofthepreparedpolymers were investigated by (TG) and (DTA) thermal analysis

The new ligand5-amino -3-[4'-P-nitrophenyl thiosemicarbazido]-1,2,4-Thiodiazole(L) was prepareda long withitsmetal complexes with the selected ions Cr(III) ,Mn(II) ,Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II).The prepared complexes were elucidated by microelemental analysis (C.H.N.M), spectral methods (UV-vissible) and (FT.IR ),and other physical measurements (molar conductance in 10-3M solution of (DMF), magnetic susceptibilityfor solid complexesand studied in solution usingmolar ratio(M:L) in ethanolic solution, Further more the stability of complexes in solutions were estimated via determination of stability constant Ks by spectrophotometric method

Two equivalent of 4-methyl thiosemicarbazide was reacted with 2,6-diformyl-4-methyl phenol to give the new pentadentate ligand H3L type N2S2O {where H3L= 4-methyl-2,6-Bis[4-methyl thiosemicarbazonyliden]-phenol. Also complexes of the ligand of H3L in general formula [M HnLX]ywhere M=Ni+2, Cu+2,n=2, X=Cl, y=0; M=, pd+2, Zn+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2ions , n=3, X=0, y=+2 were prepared. All complexes and ligand have been characterised byspectroscopy methods {IR, UV-Vis, 1H, 13C, 1H-13C NMR spectroscopy}, atomic absorption, microanalysis of elements (C.H.N), along with conductivity measurement. From the above data, the proposed molecular structure for Ni+2and Cu2 ions are octahedral, pd+2 complexes is square planner, while Zn+2,Cd+2, Hg+2complexes are forming distorted tetrahedral

In this work lactone (1) was prepared from the reaction of amino acid with acetic anhydride which upon treatment with hydrazine afforded the lactame (2). The reaction of (2) with 5-nitroisatine obtained a new Schiff's base (L) in good yield. Complexes of Pd(II), Ru(III), Rh(III), Au(III) and Pt(IV) with the new Schiff's base (L) have been prepared .The compounds[1,2]were characterized by FT-IR , UV Spectroscopy, as well as the ligand (L) characterized by the same technique with elemental analysis (C.H.N). The prepared complexes were identified and their structural geometries were suggested by using elemental analysis(C.H.N), FI-IR and UV-Vis Spectroscopy, in addition to magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. Metal to ligand [M:L] ratio was obtained for all complexes in (ethanol) using molar ratio method, which gave comparable results with those obtained for the solid complexes. As well as the apparent stability constant of the complexes have been studied with the time and their color were stable for more than (4) hours, Further more the molar absorptivites have been calculated. The antibacterial activity for the ligand (L) and their metal complexes were studied against three selected micro-organisms (Klesbsiella Pneumoniae,Staphylococcus aurous and Shigella flexneri), as well as the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) have been studied to determinedthe low concentration for inhibitor

A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been established for the determination of paracetamol. The method is based on the reaction of paracetamol with iron(III) sulfate. The produced iron(II) reacts with potassium hexacyanoferrate (III) forming Prussian blue colored product with a maximum absorption at 710 nm. Linearity was in the range 0.1 –7.0 μg mL-1paracetamol [2.5 –175.0 μg / 25 mL] with a limit of detection (signal : noise = 3) of 0.038 μg mL-1, a molar absorptive of 3.477 × 104L mol-1cm-1, a Sandell sensitivity of 4.348 ng cm-2, a relative error of less than ± 1.5% and a relative standard deviation of 0.745 –1.002% depending on the paracetamol concentration. The proposed method was statistically applied to the determination of paracetamol in pharmaceutical preparations. The proposed method has been statistically evaluated with British Pharmacopeia method and no statistical difference between methods was found at the 95% confidence level

The Schiff base,2N-(4,N,N-dimethylbenzyliden) 5(P-methoxy phenyl)-1,3,4-thiodiazole,and their metal complexes Cr(Ш),Mn (П), Cd(П),and Hg(П),were synthesized. The prepared complexes were identified and their structural geometries were suggested by using flame atomic absorption technique, FTIR,and Uv-Vis spectrophotometry,in addition to magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. The study of the nature of the complexes formed in ethanol solution, following the mole ratio method, gave results which were compared successfully with those obtained from isolated solid state studied. The antibacterial activity for the ligand and it′s metal complexes were studied against two selected micro –organisms (Staphylococcus aureus) as gram positive and (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) as gram negative

The different interactionsbetween cometary tail and solar wind ions are studied in the present paper based on three-dimensional Lax explicit method. The model used in this research is based on the continuity equations describing the cometary tail-solar wind interactions. Three dimensional system wasconsidered in this paper. Simulation of the physical system was achieved using computer code written using Matlab 7.0. The parameters studied here assumed Halley comet type and include the particle density , the particles velocity v, the magnetic field strength B, dynamic pressure pand internal energy E.The results of the present research showed that the interaction near the cometary nucleus is mainly affected by the new ions added to the plasma of the solar wind, which increases the average molecular weight and result in many unique characteristics of the cometary tail. These characteristics were explained in the presence of the IMF

In this work we studying the effect of thermal treatment on the electrical and conduction properties of metal /porous silica /n-si /metal prepared by photo electro chemical etching for etching time (15 min. Oxidation occur in oxidation time (15-150)sec at 750Ċ.After investigated current–voltage (J-V)measurement we found increase in rectification ratio ,barrier height increase with oxidation time,the rectification ration was 5 before oxidation will be 21 after 30 s oxidation time,barrier height value was (0.756eV) will be( 0.85eV) at oxidation time 30 s ,the ideality factor after oxidation was 15 will be 2.75 at 30 sec of oxidation time mean that the device approach from the ideality characteristics.

For many centuries, one of the goals of humankind has been to develop machines, where the engineers and scientists are trying to develop intelligent machines. Artificial neural systems are present-day examples of such machines that have great potential to further improve the quality of our life.Stethoscope is a tool that interpretation by aphysician of heart sounds as a fundamental component in cardiac diagnosis. It is, however, a difficult skill to acquire. In this work, the presented study for a system intended to aid in heart sound classification based on artificial neural network (ANN).Where it is contain on three steps. The information acquire is the first step which included recording the heart sound from the patient by the sonoketle phone , where the sound heart can be heard and can record by small record instrument. The second step is analysis step, in which the sound wave file analyzed to get (11) parameter which represents the input to the third step (classification step). In classification step we can recognize the class which the sound wave files belongs to it. heart sounds of (64) subjects divided into two groups normal (20) subjects and heart valve diseases (44) subjects analysis and take times and frequencies as 11 node parameters that interred to input of network .The accurate result was obtained accurate classifier (P<0.001)with hidden node equal to 11, momentum and learning rate equal to 0.2, 0.7, 0.3 and 0.5 respectively with total error equal to 0.39

A first orderof DWA (Data Weighted Averaging) algorithm with third order sigma-delta modulator is proposed for application in sigma-delta fractional-N frequency synthesizer for WiMAX. In addition, this paper discusses the impact of mismatch between Digital-to-Analog convertor (DAC) unit elements. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the DWA technique in reduction of spurs, also DWA technique proves its ability to solve DAC unit elements mismatch. The fractional spur noise is converted into a broadband. Quantization noise with DWA is improved by –10 dB if the element mismatch 0.01 and –5 dB if the element mismatch 0.08 with 8bit PFD/DAC. Many children under 15 years of age and many adults more than 15 years of age with acute leukemia registered and treated in Oncology Department attached to the Al-Yarmuk Teaching Hospital and Child Central Hospital in Baghdad were enrolled in this study, as regards to their general characteristics and the type of acute leukemia. For comparison purposes, one year was chosen (2006), which showed that, the incidence with acute lymphoblast leukemia in children was 72.5%, while the incidence with acute myelocytic leukemia in adults was 27.5%. During the year, 2006, male predominance was evident.The fraction of patients living in urban areas was more that those of rural regions.The symptoms of leukemia patients were headache,vomiting,anemia,and fever (38-38.5Cº) for more than 2 weeks, fever pallor, spleen or liver were moderately enlarged or hepatosplenomegaly; in addition to throat and mouth lesions. Most children and adults also had thrombocytopenia, leucopenia and high rate of erythrocyte sedimentation rate. An Anticardiolipin antibody, oxidatively modified low-density lipoproteins is humoral factor that has been linked to vascular damage. To analyze their possible role in the complication in type 2 diabetes mellitus, we investigated (22) patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 of ages (35-68) years.The patients were also compared with (20) healthy individuals. The level of anticardiolipin antibody was measured by usingEnzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay test (ELISA),there was a highly significant elevation in IgM and IgG anticardiolipin concentration in patient with diabetic mellitus than in controls group (P < 0.001). The prevalence of IgM and IgG anticardiolipin antibody was (13.6% and 9.1%) respectively. There were highly significant differences between study groups than in control groups.The higher levels of anticardiolipin Abs of both type IgG and IgM suggests that these humoral factors might be involved in the pathogenesis and complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus

The aim of this work is to present numerical methods for solving the first order linear Fredholm-Volterra integro-differential equations of the second kind. These methods namely are the repeated Trapezoidal method and the repeated Simpson's 1/3 method. These techniques transform the integro-differential equations to a system of algebraic equations. Some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of these methods

In this paper we introduce the numerical solutions of two-sided fractional partial differential equations with or without parameter. The algorithm for the numerical solution for these equations is based on finite difference method. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to show that the numerical method for solving these cases is an effective solution method

A wide variety of topics in pure and applied mathematics involve the problem of counting the number of lattice points inside a polytope. Perhaps the most famous special case is the theory of Ehrhart polynomials, which is the basis structure theorem about this type of counting problem.We present a modifiedtool to find the Ehrhart polynomial of a convex polytope, by writing a polytope as a linear system and find the solution of this system using integer programming method with a modification on this method. Security is a broad topic and coversa multitude of sins. In its simplest form, it is concerned with people trying to access remote services that they are not authorized to use. Cryptology is the science and studies of systems for secrete communication. It consists of two complementary fields of study: Cryptography and Cryptanalysis. The application of genetic algorithm in cryptanalysis of knapsack cipher is suggested by Spillman. This paper considers a new approach to cryptanalysis knapsack cipher based on the representation of the population as a probability distribution over the set of solutions; this is called compact Genetic Algorithm (cGA). Tests have been presented to clarify the results obtained. The results show that cGA achieve the breaking of the ciphertext. Moreover, the comparisonamong Spillman results, simple GA (sGA) and our results are also provided. The results show that cGA is worth to be considered for the attack of trapdoor 0-1 knapsack cipher
