In the new digital age, Data is the collection of the observation and facts in terms of events, thus data is continuously growing, getting denser and more varied by the minute across multiple channels. Nowadays, consumers generate mass amounts of data on a daily basis. Hence, Big Data (BD) emerged and is evolving rapidly, the various types of data being processed are huge, and ensuring that this data is being used efficiently is becoming increasingly more difficult. BD has been differentiated into several characteristics (the V’s) and many researchers have been developing more characteristics for new purposes over the past years. Therefore, it is shown from observation that there is a clear gap between researchers about the current status of the BD characteristics. Even after the introduction of newer characteristics, many papers are still proposing the use of 3 or 5 V’s, while some researchers are far more progressed and has reached up to 10V’s. This paper will provide an overview of the main characteristics that have been added over time and investigate the recent growth of Big Data Analytics (BDA) characteristics in each industry sector which will provide some detailed and general scope for most researchers to consider and learn from.

The burning of 5G sites across the UK in April 2020 has shocked the scientific and industrial society in the UK. The UK\'s mobile networks have reported 20 cases of masts being targeted in suspected arson attacks over the Easter weekend [1]. The attacks have been driven by conspiracy theories, which claim that the deployment of 5G networks has caused or helped accelerating the spread of COVID-19. But scientists say the connection between COVID-19 and 5G is a \"complete nonsense\" and biologically impossible. This article discusses the claims about 5G technology and its link to COVID-19 and will make a conclusion whether conspiracy theories have any ground. Our fact checking investigation lead to the conclusion that any claims connecting this technology to the pandemic are false. Inversely, the huge capabilities offered by 5G especially with IoT and AI that could be used to revolutionize the healthcare sector by providing better assistance to the frontline staff, and facilitating improved virus tracking, patient monitoring, data collection, and analysis.

The contamination in Tigress and Euphrates Rivers in Iraq has reached a high level for several reasons; one of these reasons is the discharged of sewage treatment plant (STP) effluent in the rivers, as well as other wastewater treatment plants. But the major problem is to taker discharge of wastewater to the river directly with no treatment! Many tankers in different places in all governorates in Iraq are utilized because of the absence of sewers which collecting the domestic discharge. Wastewater discharge in the rivers increases the pollution levels and especially when the river level decreases during summer seasons. In the last few years, the pollution was dramatically exacerbated. In this paper, an optimum Design for Decentralized Sewage Treatment Plant will be presented. Discharge of sewage tanks in the Tigris River has a severe negative impact on the environment; causing a deficiency in the dissolved oxygen in the water and increasing the limits of toxicity due to the accumulation of organic and inorganic substances. Pollution has become a serious issue that directly affects the aquatic life, agriculture, and people. The design unit has good specifications for effluent water discharge. TSS (Total Suspended Solid) decreased to less than 10 ppm, BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) to less than 10 ppm, and COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) to less than 50 ppm. The designed unit showed a good and easy operation and maintenance with less chemicals used.

In this paper, the influence of blades number on the performance of pico wind turbine was investigated by using a small-motorized axial DC fan with a rated power of 4W. Fixed streaming air blower was used as a source of wind. Varying in wind speed was accomplished by changing the distance from the blower. A resistor equals to the turbine internal resistance was utilized as a load to collect the electrical power across the load at various wind speeds and for fans of different blades (1, 2, and 5). Values of the cut-in and cut-out speeds were extracted from the power plot. Rated power was recorded, as well. The results have shown that the rated power generated by turbine has decreased due to the reduction of blades number (i.e., reduction in solidity) from 2.6W for a 5-bladed turbine to 0.665W for a 2-bladed turbine and to 0.13W for a 1-bladed turbine. Moreover, the cut-in speed (initial electrical generating speed) has increased from 4.9m/s for 5-bladed to 8m/s for 2-bladed, then to 19.15m/s for 1-bladed. These results are explained by the balancing problems during rotation (polar asymmetrical rotor), and it is seen that the reduction of blades has made a sharp reduction in power coefficient.

One of the most important healthcare institutions in Iraq is Outpatient clinic that requires a lot of thinking to improve the way to provide services and the nature of care. Outpatient clinics are increasingly keen to meet the needs of care, and this has been recognized as a fundamental issue related to service quality. Therefore, many researchers in various fields have taken this matter as a basis for their research, as it is considered a rich material for research due to the problems these institutions contain. The most important problems faced by outpatient clinics are the waiting time and the insufficient number of clinic staff to perform the various tasks. The aim of this paper is to reduce the waiting time by building a model for the clinic environment, especially dental clinics, and trying to benefit from all the existing medical staff and exploit their experiences. Since the patient spends a long time between registration, returning to the doctor and finally the result or process that the doctor performs, building such a model might help in identifying and improving the problem. The simulation model built in this research for the clinic is based on modelling the discrete events inside the dental clinic using the Arena software. This form is used to assess the quality of services provided by dental outpatient clinics in Iraq.

In order to better realize the effects of UV index (UVI) reaching the earth surface, measurements of effective UVI were carried out during the period of one year over Baghdad; (Lat.33.32- Long.44.45), which receives highly amounts of annual solar radiation. A daily data analysis of UVI is found to reach the highest value during summer reaching the value of 11, and a minimum in winter with the value of 1. A relation between UV index and the solar zenith angle was also, it is found that the UVI is highly dependent on the sun elevation where the atmospheric optical path becomes shorter as sun elevation heighten. It can be concluded that Baghdad city exposure to higher amounts of UVI during summer and several hedges must be taken to avoid health harm implications.

Heavy metals pollution has become a more serious environmental problem in the last several decades as a result of releasing toxic materials into the environment. The aim of this study is to develop an ecological method for the removal of Ni2+ ions from industrial wastewater by an electro coagulation method using aluminum plates and solar cell as a source of D.C current. In this study, different conditions of pH of 4, 6, 7, and 8, current densities of 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 mA/cm2, and nickel ion concentrations of 200, 300, and 500 ppm were investigated during a period of time of 120 minutes to remove nickel ions prepared waste water by electro coagulation. The total removal of nickel ions was (97.5- 99.5%), (97- 99%), and (96.67-98.8%) for pH (4-8), current density (0.5-1.5 mA/cm2) and nickel ions concentration (200-500 ppm), respectively. The results show that the optimum condition of electro coagulation process can be obtained at pH = 8 and current density 1.5 mA/cm2 when 120 minutes were elapsed.

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a common medical condition associated with pregnancy. GDM is defined as hyperglycemia that is diagnosed during pregnancy and is not clearly overt diabetes that existed prior to pregnancy. The sample of the study was sixty diabetic pregnant women who came for follow up at obstetrics and gynecology department in TMC in Tripoli medical center during the year 2016. The patients divided according to the type of treatments they received into three groups; A: Patients who took Oral hypoglycemic agents (OHA), B: Patients who took insulin, C: Patents who took both drugs (OHA and insulin), Glycemic control was assessed using HBA1c level, FBS and RBS. This study shows that about 70% of the patients who took OHA had type 1 diabetes and 30% had type 2 diabetes. About 77.8% of patients who took insulin had type 2 diabetes and 22.2% had type 1 diabetes. And 73.2% of the patients who were treated with the combination of drugs had type 2 diabetes and 26.8% had type 1 diabetes. The current study demonstrates that 80% of patients who took OHA had good control, 33.3% of patients who took insulin had good control and 53.7% of patients who took both drugs had good control. Regarding the fasting blood sugar of the patients, the result illustrates the following; High level was reported in 20% of OHA group, 33.3% of insulin group and 31.7% of both drugs group. On the birth weight, the macrosomia (>4kg) was more in insulin group (33.3%) than other groups (10% of OHA and 31.7% of both drugs group). GDM is a condition that should be treated and prevented, as uncontrolled GDM can affect the mother and the fetal growth.

Cadmium is a toxic heavy metal, which is mainly absorbed by gastro intestinal tract (GIT). This absorption increases when there is a decrease in the level of iron in body stores. This study was carried to find out that the intake of ferrous sulphate affects the absorption of cadmium chloride from gastro intestinal tract (GIT) of mature rabbits exposed chronically to polluted water with cadmium chloride (CdCl2). Four to five months old rabbits were equally divided into three groups: Control (A), this group offered ordinary tab water, the second treated group (B), offered tap water containing 80 parts per billion (ppb) CdCl2. The third treated group (C), offered tap water containing (80 ppb) CdCl2 with 4mg of ferrous sulphate that are given orally once a day. Cadmium concentration in serum was measured using atomic absorption instrument at the end of experiment which extended for 8 weeks. The results revealed that Cd concentration was increased significantly in the 2nd group (B) as the CdCl2 level in serum reached 2.057 ppb, while it decreases significantly in the 3rd group (C) where the level decreased to 0.455 ppb compared to control group (A). These findings concluded that the supplementing food with iron compounds led to a decrease in serum cadmium levels, where ferrous competes with the absorption of Cd.

A 100 litter of pharmaceutical formula of veterinary drug Rafoxanide and Levamisole with 6% suspension as pilot production was prepared. The formula contains two active ingredients with a broad spectrum anthelmintic activity. Rafoxanide belong belongs to salicylanilide group used for treatment and control of mature and immature liver flukes in cattle, sheep and goats. Levamisole belongs to Bezimidazole compounds and is active against gastrointestinal worms and against lung worms in cattle, sheep and goats. The drug formula is a white color suspension prepared according to scientific literature. Information was collected for all substances in the formulation for active ingredient ingredients and additives. The chemical assay was carried out on the active ingredients and the final formula and the results showed that they conform to the constitutional specifications. The results of the chemical assay of Rafoxanide (102.7%) and levamisole (101%) were found to be within the approved constitutional limits (90-110%) with the adoption of the results of stability study at temperatures (40, 50, 60 °C). The stability of the pharmaceutical formula was observed within the permissible constitutional limits.
