The current research aims to measure the written expression skills of students of the Arabic Language Department. The research community consists of female students of the Department of Arabic Language, the first stage of the academic year (2022-2023), whose number is (177) students, and a test was prepared to measure the skills of written expression consisting of (28) skills in its final form after extracting the psychometric characteristics of sincerity and constancy,The test was applied to the research sample consisting of (50) female students, and to analyze the data and extract the results, the statistical bag for social sciences (sspss) was used
and it became clear from the results of the statistical analyzes that the female students have difficulty in expressive writing; This is due to their lack of sufficient written expression skills, and in the light of the results, the research concluded that teachers should pay attention to developing students' written expression skills by using methods and modern strategies suitable for developing these skills.
