The objective of the current research is to identify the reasons for the weakness of middle school students in reciting the Holy Quran from the point of view of the teachers of Islamic education. The sample consisted of (57) teachers and schools who study Islamic education in the intermediate stage in Abu Ghraib Education Directorate in Baghdad governorate, In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (33) paragraphs in four areas (teacher, curriculum, teaching methods, student). The validity of the questionnaire was verified and the statistical analysis package (spss) ) To extract the results T showed:

2. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the reasons of weakness of middle school students in reciting the Holy Quran from the point of view of teachers of Islamic education according to sex in favor of males.
In the light of the results, the research recommended: Making the subject of Islamic education not only studied by the specialists, and they are introduced training courses to learn the methods of teaching recitation and learn the appropriate steps to read the Quranic verses. And encourage teachers to teach recitation and motivate them through books of thanks and appreciation.
