Various imperative sentences of English and Arabic are put under discussion and analysis according to their occurrence in different situations. Form, structure and semantics of the Arabic imperative are compared with their closest English counterparts. English and Arabic imperatives are equally exposed and studied with their shades of meaning. Graded levels of command which extend from mild request to the strong tone of order are clearly shown and carefully examined. The current study exhibits the similarities and differences between English and Arabic in regard to imperatives. The differences are certainly more difficult to learn than the similarities; but partial similarities are considered most difficult for learners of English.

This study is concerned with analyzing linguistic cohesive devices, references, conjunctions, and repetitions in Surah Luqman in the Glorious Quran, that connect sentences and clauses, specifically Luqman’s testaments. It is essentially based on Halliday and Hasan’s model (1976) of cohesion in English. This study aims to define the notion of cohesive devices use for sake of connectivity in the text. It also tries to investigate the types of these connectors in Luqman's testaments, how do these devices are created and contribute to clarify the meanings of the text chosen and to discover the common devices in such a text. The study has concluded that the patterns of cohesive devices that can be found in the texts’ testaments are mostly: references, repetition and conjunctions which connect the whole testament coherently. These devises contribute to generate and explain the semantics of the text, and to show the relationships among ideas in the discourse of the testaments. The study would be of great value to learners and teachers who are interested in composition. It also helps the learners to manage their understanding and knowledge of cohesive devices in literary texts.

This research sheds light on trends of investigative investigations towards ISIS that published on the NIRIJ network for the period 11/12/2014 until 28/11/2020.
The concerning of researcher of this topic comes from this newly editorial type of journalistic arts. In aforementioned site and from its importance to identify the investigative content of problems which is social concern such as terrorism, crime, and social psychdogical problems in Iraqi regions that are occupied by ISIS in 2014.
The researcher has used the survey method to survey the investigative content trends which was presented by the investigative content investigations in the Nirij network. It has included an overall survey of investigative investigations which related to ISIS.
They totaled until November 2020 about 23 Investigative investigation.
The researcher has divided this research into three section:
The first one dealt with methodological from work. The second dealt with investigative journalism. The third included the analysis of investigative reporting trends in relation to ISIS in Nirij network for a period 11/12/2014 until 28/4/2020.
The conclusions of the research has confirmed the following:
1. The investigative investigations concern to high light the issue of minorities that affected by ISISI. The results clarified that the minorities such as Christians, Yazidis, Turkmen, and shabak are affected by ISISI.
2. The conclusions of this research show that ISISI committed massacres. The most important massacres are spyker and the badush prison.
3. The Result of investigative investigations showed the negative impact of ISIS on children during the period of its controlling. This was number of children. This was through the recruitment of a large number of children. This negative impact has continues wen with the elimination of ISIS. So it made a great number of unknown parentage children. In addition, ISIS planted the extremist idea in the children’s brains, which required intensive efforts in order to rehabilitate.

The research focuses on the geomorphological analysis of the Tigris Valley between the Samra region and the Tikrit Bridge, as the region suffers from a diversity in its geomorphological units and development in most of its units. Therefore, the research came to identify active geomorphological areas with the ability to change and develop over time, while giving studied scenarios for high water levels and the areas they cover, in order to reach dangerous areas and areas that are not dangerous to human use. And then to identify the available capabilities to provide treatment methods for areas of risk, by strengthening the weak areas of the earth dam, cladding the banks, and other treatments.
