Peace in society is one of the important topics that Islam has paid attention to due to its great importance. The Glorious Quran has focused in many verses on the topic of peace. Based on the importance of the topic, I wrote this research, which will answer many questions and will benefit all members of society. Through this research, we will provide reliable information about (the impact of dialogue and discussion in building community peace in Salah al-Din Governorate - youth as a model).
Salah al-Din Governorate is one of the regions that has experienced multiple social, economic, and security challenges. In light of these challenges, the role of youth emerges as a vital element in building society and achieving stability and development. Dialogue and discussion with youth are essential means of understanding their needs and channeling their energies toward effective community contribution. The concept of security in Muslim society is one of the things that Allah created man with. It helps society to have a ruling authority that looks after their affairs and works for their well-being.

A careful examination of Quranic texts reveals a profound emphasis on social harmony, with a strong commitment to establishing its principles and values. The Glorious Quran fortifies this harmony with protective measures to safeguard it from any threats to its foundations, making it one of its significant objectives. Through its language and meanings, the Quran consistently underscores the importance of social harmony and the establishment of its pillars within society. Simultaneously, it strives to preserve and protect this structure from anything that might undermine or target it for destruction.
The verses of the Glorious Quran encompass various meanings related to achieving social harmony. These meanings range from safety from harm and evil, encouragement for good praise, exchanging greetings among community members, reconciliation, and other similar concepts. Additionally, the Quran introduces synonymous terms for social harmony, such as security, tranquility, and peace, all of which advocate for harmony, cohesion, and unity among members of society.

Societal peace is a basic necessity for the stability and growth of societies, and Islam has paid great attention to this issue, as the Glorious Qur'an came with its comprehensive directives that call for peaceful coexistence, the rejection of strife and conflicts, and the consolidation of the values of justice and tolerance. The Qur'anic teachings contribute to strengthening societal peace and help achieve social stability. Salah al-Din Governorate is an example of a diverse society that has witnessed various challenges that require the promotion of societal peace through Islamic values derived from the Glorious Quran.

This research addresses the phenomenon of intellectual extremism and its impact on societal peace, highlighting that extremism leads to increased tensions and divisions within society. The research presents the causes behind this phenomenon, such as ignorance, intolerance, and poverty, and discusses the role of the media in spreading extremist ideas. It also emphasizes the importance of promoting values of tolerance and moderation as solutions to counter extremism and stresses the necessity of enhancing dialogue and intellectual awareness within communities to reduce the impact of extremism on social stability.

This research aims to study the impact of electronic communication networks on promoting social peace from an Islamic perspective. This is achieved by analyzing the jurisprudential foundations that regulate public discourse through these media, while utilizing a practical model represented by Salah al-Din Governorate. The importance of this study stems from the growing social and legal challenges resulting from the misuse of these networks, and the resulting societal disintegration, the spread of discord, and the deepening of sectarian discourse.
The study's results showed that social media can positively contribute to promoting social peace if jurisprudential and ethical guidelines are observed in its use, particularly in light of the presence of awareness-raising models in of Salah al-Din Governorate that have helped reduce hate speech and fostered values of tolerance and constructive communication.

This research addresses the importance of social peace as one of the fundamental pillars for the stability and cohesion of societies, from an Islamic perspective based on the Glorious Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah. It is based on the hypothesis that Islam, with its system of values and ethics, has laid the foundation for a culture of peace, tolerance, and dialogue, making these values central to the construction of social and human relationships.
Research Methodology: The study is divided into an introduction, five sections, and a conclusion:
• Section One: General concepts of social peace.
• Section Two: Social peace in the Qur’an and Sunnah
• Section Three: Foundations of social peace in Islam.
• Section Four: The role of societal institutions in promoting peace.
• Section Five: Challenges facing social peace, which is divided into three subsections.

Sufi lodges and takayas are important spiritual and social centers that have played a prominent role in spreading the values of tolerance, love, and peaceful coexistence in Islamic societies throughout history. In Salah al-Din Governorate, which has faced security and social challenges, these institutions can effectively contribute to promoting civil peace through their religious, social, and spiritual programs
