Text Cryptography Using Mix Modular Representation of codes

Abstract

In this paper, the basis of our work is focused on converting any text required to be ciphered into corresponding ASCII codes, and then transferring these codes into suitable mix modular representation, where more than one different modulus is used to represent each code in the text. In addition to that, we used and represent many keys such as public key, private key and secret key which are used in this work as modular representation to encrypt plain text and to decrypt cipher text.

Abstract

This paper is an attempt to carefully examine the term “cyber” from the etymological perspective. During the course of the development of language, new words appear and old words may disappear. This phenomenon occurs according to the urgent need of language users inasmuch as the many and various disciplines and concepts develop and attain new representations for which there are no expressions; hence, the newly born words are expressive of them. The word “cyber” (first use was known in 1992, according to Webster’s Merriam Dictionary) has been first used as a prefix taken from the Greek expression “cybernetics” which means science of communication and control theory and next as a noun used to form many and various compounds according to the urgent needs of language to modify new representations developed according to the fast development of science and technology. There are many words derivations of this expression when used as a prefix, accompanied with words used in disciplines such as banking, insurance companies, automobiles, finance, mobile phones, software, computers, travelling, school, colleges, studies, health and others. There may be similar terms related to the internet category. When the term “cyber” is entered into the box of the website for searching, one can check out many full forms given so as to find the choice of one’s needs. Hence, there appears the development of terms such as “cyberpet, cyberphobia, cyberpunk, cybersecurity, cybersex, cyberspace, for example (see the Appendix at the end of this paper).

Abstract

Cybersecurity is one of the most important elements of security in the world, especially in developed countries. The basic idea of cybersecurity is based on securing the information infrastructure, government information, large organizations, security and military agencies. Many countries have created bodies and issued cybersecurity legislation for the purpose of facing cyber challenges and threats, with the establishment of research and security organizations interested in studying and following up cyberspace in a way that serves the political interests of states. While all organizations have adopted the principle of storing electronic information and the need to preserve it, so these organizations and governments make continuous efforts to protect the networks and data of organizations and people from unauthorized use or a breach that harms the organization concerned. The paper sheds light on this important issue, its development, uses, and proposals for the development of cybersecurity systems, with an analysis of statistical data as digital indicators of cybersecurity in various regions of the world.

Abstract

A chatbot is an artificial intelligence (AI) system programmed to simulate human conversation via text or natural language interaction. The majority of chatbots make use of AI algorithms to offer an acceptable response. In their interactions with humans, older chatbots just gave the impression of intelligence by using rule-based and generative-based models in place of today's more sophisticated pattern-matching and string-processing design methodologies with the need for the conversation to be secure. But as new technologies have arisen, more intelligent systems have emerged, employing intricate knowledge-based models. This study aims to examine the many types of chatbots, how the two main types deal with conversational context, and the design strategies utilized in creating both older and more recent chatbots.

Abstract

The growing usage of computer networks might open more malicious access to services and systems. Security systems are used mostly to protect data centers, the duty of these systems is to protect data centers from various attacks that take deferent forms day by day, Such attacks are increasing in complexity and sophistication, resulting in disruptive consequences that can compromise data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. The ability to detect and respond to such attacks is vital to conducting necessary mitigation and limiting any damage caused to data centers services. Intrusion Detection / Prevention Systems (IDSs / IPSs) are commonly deployed to monitor and discover those sophisticated attacks from endpoints of cloud networks, limiting the deployment of distributed IDSs / IPSs that correlate security event alerts.
In this worksheet, we have tried to provide a clear track to security systems, specifically intrusion detection systems (IDS). We have provided an overview of the types of security systems, what is their function and the most important differences between them, as well as their location within the network. When we want to design these systems, it is very important to know their structure and the available types. Among them, one of the most important functions of intrusion detection systems is protection from cyber-attacks, so through our research we explained in detail the most important attacks that data centers could be exposed to and their methods of work. At the end of the worksheet, we hope that we have provided a clear idea of detection systems and how to design them.
