Abstract
The research aims to shed light on one of the most important narrators of hadith and the efforts he made in transmitting the hadiths of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, as well as the military efforts he made to spread Islam through his participation in many battles of conquests in Iraq and the Levant since the time of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, to conclude them With his participation in the battles fought by the Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, and the impact of that military role in spreading Islam in parts of the world at the time, especially on the Iraq front, as he participated with his father in the most important battles, including the famous battle of conquest of cities, so this research came to study Jaber Bin Samra, may God be pleased with him, and his military efforts.

Abstract
يهدف البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على احد أهم رواة الحديث والجهود التي بذلها في نقل احاديث الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، فضلاً عن الجهود العسكرية التي بذلها لنشر الإسلام من خلال مشاركته في العديد من معارك الفتوحات في العراق والشام منذ عهد الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، ليختمها بمشاركته بالمعارك التي خاضها الخليفة علي بن ابي طالب رضي الله عنه وما كان لذلك الدور العسكري من أثر في نشر الإسلام في بقاع المعمورة آنذاك ولا سيما على جبهة العراق، اذ شارك مع والده في أهم المعارك ومنها معركة فتح المدائن الشهيرة ، لذلك جاء هذا البحث ليسط الضوء على حياة جابر بن سَمُرة رضي الله عنه وجهوده العسكرية.
