The present study aims to identity the effect of Merril Tennyson on the achivement of first grade student
In the environmental art subject matter at the department of domestic education and artistic crafts at the college of basic education,baghdad city .
To achieve the aim of this study , the researchers have prepared nine of lesson planwing according to merrils model and post test of multiple choice.
The researchers have selected the first grade student in the department of domestic education and artistic crafts at the college of basic education.
The sample consisted of (81) students ( male and female ) which is divided into two groups ( 1 and 2 ) randomly.
The group one is chosen to repersent the experimental group and group 2 respresented the control one .
The two groups have equalized according to number of variables like age , intelligence.
At the end of experiment the researchers have conducted the post test of achievement in the environmental art .
Data are analyseal and manipulated statistically and the results revealed that the achievement of the experimental group is better than the achievement of the control group in the post test .the researchers have found out the effectiveness of merrils model in teaching .
According to the findings of this study , the researchers presented nomber of recommerdations and suggestions.
