This research studies the structures of derivatives and their appendices in the poetry of Al-Nu'man bin Bashir Al-Ansari (d. 64 AH), who had a great impact on Islamic life in Medina, and whose poetry was distinguished by the delicacy and smoothness of its words; this is because Medina poetry differs from desert poetry, which is characterized by richness and ease; therefore, we find in his poetry the forms of (active participle) more fre-quently than the rest of the other structures, followed by the adjective, then in third place come the forms of exaggeration, while the rest of the struc-tures are similar in use in his poetry, and they are in the following order: nouns of time and place, superlative, passive participle, relative, diminutive, then instrumental noun. His poetry was also distinguished by the absence of any of the derivatives’ weights being irregular, but rather all the weights were standard, and this indicates that the poet had high eloquence, delicacy and sweetness in his speech, and this is what distinguishes the poets of Me-dina from the poets of the desert, and Al-Nu’man bin Bashir Al-Ansari is one of the poets of Medina from the Khazraj tribe.

This research examines the impact of disagreement among Usuli scholars on specificity based on custom, demonstrating the role of custom in sharia rulings and its impact on specifying generalities and restricting absolutes.
It defines custom linguistically and technically, identifies its divisions, and then presents the meaning of general and absolute meanings, along with the methods of specifying and restricting them. It also addresses the disagreement among Usuli scholars on specificity based on custom, particularly practical custom, and the resulting jurisprudential issues. The research concludes that sound, consistent custom is accepted by the majority of Usuli scholars. However, the schools of thought differ on the extent to which it is permissible to specify generalities and restrict absolutes based on custom, with some schools of thought affirming or prohibiting it.

This study addresses the issue of coercion as one of the critical factors affecting prescriptive rulings (taklīf) according to the scholars of Islamic le-gal theory (uṣūl al-fiqh). It presents a detailed analysis of conceptual distinc-tions, specifically between compelling coercion (ikrāh muljiʾ) and non-compelling coercion (ikrāh ghayr muljiʾ), and surveys the views of promi-nent doctrinal schools such as the Ashʿarites, Muʿtazilites, Ḥanafis, and Ḥanbalis. The aim is to clarify how coercion influences the persistence or removal of legal accountability, with a focus on the interplay of volition and capability. The paper examines whether a coerced person remains legally accountable when performing acts that are religiously mandated or prohib-ited, and it analyzes the strongest view in light of textual evidences and the overarching purposes of divine legislation. Furthermore, it explores practi-cal implications of these theoretical differences—such as the validity of di-vorce under coercion—by comparing opinions and favoring the one that aligns with both the objectives of Sharia and the consequences of legal rul-ings. The study concludes that compelling coercion definitively nullifies le-gal responsibility by scholarly consensus, while non-compelling coercion remains a subject of dispute, and a nuanced approach is deemed more ap-propriate. The study also recommends incorporating structured criteria for coercion into contemporary Islamic jurisprudence to support justice and uphold individual rights.

This research study revolves around a noble topic, which is: "Grammatical reasoning with the Quranic readings and their guidance in the book "Marginal Notes to the Book of Sibawayh", a comparative study"; since the grammarians’ guidance for those readings established the rules of Arabic, especially since those reasonings and guidance were from the great grammarians, foremost among them Sibawayh, and those of his class, and his students. In addition to that, they enriched Arabic with new aspects, The viewpoints varied among the early grammarians; therefore, the research aimed to reveal those inferences and directions of these early grammarians. The research issues were arranged in the order of the chapters of the Holy Qur’an, after studying each issue independently of the other. Then, there was a conclusion that included the
most prominent results that were reached.

Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad and those who follow him. My research entitled (The Metaphor Regarding Water in the Holy Qur’an and the Ten Hanging Poems: A Graphic Comparison) came to explain some of the metaphors that It was mentioned about water in the Holy Qur’an and the ten odes, and I compared between every Qur’anic metaphor that I saw that between its image and the image of the water metaphor mentioned in the ten odes there was a kind of closeness, or a reason for the connection, so my research came in two sections, the first: the metaphor that occurs in the heavenly water, and I explained in it about The path of selected metaphors, some points of similarity and difference, and I divided it into two sections, the first for descending water, and the second for water carriers, as for the second topic, it was for the metaphor of ground water, and I divided it into points due to the multiplicity of ground, then I concluded the topic with a conclusion and a list of the references and sources that I used.

This research aims to highlight the personality of one of the leading Muslim scholars of the fourth century AH, Imam Abu Sahl Al-Sa\'luki (d. 369 AH), one of the imams of the Shafi\'i school of thought. It explores his personal and scholarly life and his jurisprudential views, which have not re-ceived sufficient attention in contemporary sources, despite his prolific knowledge, asceticism, and diverse knowledge spanning jurisprudence, hadith, literature, and Sufism.
This research includes an introduction, two chapters, and a conclu-sion. The introduction provides an introduction to the research and the plan I followed in writing it. The first section covers the personal and scholarly life of Imam al-Sa\'luki, divided into sections and paragraphs, following the methodology of contemporary scholarly research. The second section consists of four sections, addressing the Imam\'s jurisprudential views on some issues in which he departed from the well-known and accepted Shafi\'i school of thought. I then outline the most important findings I reached, concluding with a brief conclusion at the end of the study. I ask God Almighty for sincerity and acceptance.

A woman is held accountable for all acts of worship that are obligatory upon a man, except for those related to her specific biological and phys-iological conditions. She possesses her own financial autonomy, inherits and is inherited from upon her death, and is responsible for her own ac-tions, just as men are. This research addresses the foundational concept of endowment in-vestment, highlighting its ruling, regulations, objectives, and emphasizing the relationship between economics and endowment investment. It sheds light on the attention given to this topic by Islamic scholars, focusing on the origin of its legitimacy and its contributions to the Muslim community throughout Islamic history. As one of the mechanisms for preserving capi-tal, safeguarding its principal, organizing ways of investing its income, and promoting its growth for the benefit of the beneficiaries, endowment in-vestment is regarded as a comprehensive approach—religious, educational, social, and economic—that Islam uniquely legislated and encouraged.

This research aims to study the issue of preferencing without a prepon-derant evidence in Islamic Sharia, and to understand the role played by cer-tain aspects and rules in achieving social justice. The importance of the study lies in the fact that preferencing contributes to understanding the Sharia-based foundations governing the application of these rulings, ensuring that none is neglected without reason or improperly executed. I have adopted an analytical methodology based on Sharia sources, with a focus on interpreting the texts related to the subject of study. The research is structured into an introduction and three main sections.

Union escalation and professional protests have become prominent tools of collective expression in modern societies. Their increasing presence in Arab and Islamic contexts raises a pressing legal question: To what extent are such protest actions legitimate within Islamic jurisprudence, and what conditions govern their practice? This study aims to establish a sound Islamic legal framework for understanding trade union activities and professional protest mechanisms—including strikes, sit-ins, and administrative escalation—based on the principles of Fiqh al-Muwāzanāt (the jurisprudence of balancing). This approach seeks to harmonize the legitimate rights of workers and employees with the preservation of public order and societal interests. Using an analytical and doctrinal methodology, the study examines scriptural evidence, legal maxims, and the objectives of Sharia. It also analyzes the positions of contemporary scholars and fatwa bodies, alongside real-world examples of professional protests in Muslim countries. The findings indicate that union escalation and professional protests are not inherently prohibited in Islamic law, provided they are peaceful, organized, aimed at achieving a legitimate right, and do not result in public harm or violate established regulations.

This research aims to highlight the relationship between jurisprudence and ethics, and to employ ethics as a meaning intended in practical rulings in Islamic jurisprudence, because ethics are part of Islamic law, and both overlap in being the rules guiding behavior

This research aims to demonstrate and explain the role of Islamic financ-ing for projects and its being an alternative to the loan system with conditional interest in advance that exists in banks and usurious institutions, One of the most important uses of money in the usurious commercial market is the loans and advances that the bank provides in exchange for a specific, conditional interest, As for Islamic banks, funds are used through various legitimate fi-nancing methods that suit all activities, whether commercial, industrial, agri-cultural, real estate, professional, or craft. financing activity is one of the most important activities in Islamic banks, as its returns represent the most im-portant source of profits, as for the research method, a descriptive study was used in this research to explain the role of Islamic finance in combating usuri-ous loans in banks and usurious institutions, through research, we reached re-sults, some of which contradict financing in Islamic thought with traditional thought. Usury financing depends on conditional interest provided without bearing the risk, while in Islamic financing there is risk and lawful profit, it is committed to Sharia controls, while usurious financing does not adhere to what is permissible and what is forbidden. We presented proposals, including the need to pay attention to Islamic finance and avoid usury, encouraging projects to receive financing from Islamic banks and institutions, combating usury in all areas to obtain lawful profits, and opening Islamic banks and institutions to finance projects in an Islamic manner.

This study examines the efforts of Dr. Ahmed Shalaby (1915–2000) in the study of religions, with a particular focus on his writings on Christianity, especially the Ecumenical Councils, as a model for presentation and analy-sis. The research aims to highlight Shalaby’s methodology in addressing Christian doctrines and sects, as well as his perspective on the major Ecu-menical Councils that played a pivotal role in shaping Christian doctrine.
The study focuses on analyzing Shalaby’s approach to presenting the history of the councils in terms of objectivity and scholarly accuracy, while also discussing the extent of his academic neutrality or potential influence by his Islamic background. Additionally, the research examines the nature of the sources Shalaby relied on, whether Islamic or Christian, and com-pares them with other specialized sources on the history of the councils.

This research aims to know the single prepositions in Al-Khansa’s Diwan. I studied them grammatically and analytically, i.e. analyzing the functions of the prepositions in Al-Khansa’s Diwan, and clarifying their role in expressing feelings and situations, as well as clarifying the musical dimensions of the prepositions and the extent of their impact on the structure and cohesion of the poem. The study relied on the descriptive analytical method. A group of selected poems from Al-Khansa's collection were collected and analyzed. The focus was on identifying the locations of prepositions and their various uses, in addition to analyzing the semantic and grammatical dimensions that emerge in the context of the texts. I divided this research into an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion. As for the first section, I dealt with a brief overview of Al-Khansa' and the definition of prepositions. As for the second section, I dealt with the single prepositions in Al-Khansa's poetry, and then the conclusion, in which I mentioned the results of the research.

Our study examines the hypothetical dialogue style used by grammarians, including AL-Muradi in his book (Tawdih AL-Maqasid wa AL-Masalik) Explaining Purposes and Paths, which is also known by the term (AL-Fanqala), derived from the phrase "If you say… I say". The purpose of using this style was to raise grammatical or morphological issues and other issues to present academic material. Its goal is to alert readers by posing hypothetical educational questions that enhance understanding and provide adequate answers. It also develops an analytical nature and expands meaning in the learner by presenting and discussing various issues. Among the first to use this art was Sibawayh (d. 180 AH). Therefore, it became necessary to delve into the study of AL-Muradi's dialogue style and learn how he presented, analyzed, and discussed grammatical issues, especially since he relied on Qur'anic texts, the prophet's hadith, Arab poetry, and proverbs to prove the preponderant opinion. This research is a serious attempt to verify the manuscript entitled (A Message Regarding a Verse from Surat Al-Rum) by the scholar Muhammad bin Ibrahim Sari al-Din Abu al-Rida al-Daruri, the Egyptian, the Hanafi, the interpreter known as Ibn al-Sa’igh (d. 1066 AH). The importance of the research lies in the fact that it sheds light on the verification of a verse from Surat Al-Rum, and examines Ibn al-Sa’igh’s opinions in its interpretation, and his comments in some places. The main goal of the research is to attribute the words to their speakers, and to distinguish between the words of Ibn al-Sa’igh and others. The research reached various results, the most prominent of which are the following: First: Ibn al-Sa’igh indicated in his verification of a verse from Surat Al-Rum the places of quotation by mentioning indications such as: Imam al-Baydawi helped us in distinguishing his words from the words of others, or the phrase: it ended, which clarifies to us the end of the words quoted from others. Second: There are places where Ibn al-Sa’igh quoted from others without clear attribution, and the research attributed them to Its owners, thirdly: In interpreting a verse from Surat Al-Rum, Ibn Al-Sayegh did not stop at its literal interpretation, but rather went beyond that to delve into the structures, and clarify the purpose of mentioning it, and he explained the use of one phrase rather than another and its importance and meaning that no other can convey
