Abstract
Reasonableness is of paramount importance in determining the time required for investigative and judicial proceedings to reach a fair resolution of a case; Here, reasonableness as an officer is involved in estimating the time period required to take action, especially if the time period is not restricted by the legislator to take this action alone. Based on the above, the study plan will be divided into two topics. The second requirement will be left to the role of the judiciary in the work of reasonableness.

Abstract
تُعد المعقولية ذات أهمية بالغة في تحديد المدة الزمنية المطلوبة لإتخاذ الإجراءات التحقيقية والقضائية ، وصولاً لحسم الدعوى بصورة عادلة ، لتعلق الإجراءات الجزائية بالحقوق والحريات لأطراف الدعوى , ومن ثم لا بد من مراعاة الزمن لإتخاذها ، كون مجمل الأدلة تقريباً تتأثر بالمدة الزمنية في الحصول عليها من عدمه , وهنا تدخل المعقولية كضابط في تقدير المدة الزمنية المطلوبة لاتخاذ الإجراءات ، خصوصاً إذا كانت المدة الزمنية غير مقيدة من قبل المشرّع لاتخاذ هذا الإجراء دون غيره.
