Abstract
The Arbaeen visit is one of the most significant and profound relegious
phenomena in the Islamic world, both in terms of its scale and human depth.
This march, undertaken by millions on foot toward Karbala, is not
merely a commemoration of a historical event ; rather, it is an expression of
a profound emotional and intellectual connection to the figure of Hussein
ibn Ali, hwo has become a global symbol of freedom, dignity, and justice.
Throughout history, this visit has evolved and taken on dimensions
that transcend the ritual aspect, becoming a social, cultural, and spiritual
phenomenon, carrying within it meanings of sacrifice, patience, unity,
belonging, and psychological resillience derived from the tragedy of Karbala.During this movement of faith, the visitor is able to reshape his self
and identity, far from the boundaries of self, place, and time. In the midst
of this emotional and collective interaction, the features of the « Hussaini man » are formed. A being charged with the values of justice, resistance,
and mercy, living them not as slogans but as part of his psychological,
behavioral, and existential makeup. To discuss more about this being,
whom we have called « the Hussaini man », in this paper we will seek to
highlight the importance of the Arbaeen visit in reshaping personal and
collective awareness thought spiritual purification, strenghening identity,
and building an intemal energy capable of facing challenges within a
value-based framework derived from Hussein’s immortal revolution,
where does this visitor find meaning in pain, a message in the path, and a
burning example in Hussein that will never be extiguished.
In this title, we have combined the social aspect, which encompasses the
sicial-material vision of lifestyle, with the psychological aspect, which includes the refinement of the soul and the reshaping of this soul based on Husseini values, Psychosociology combines these two aspects to discuss this human being who is characterized in his spiritual and psychological dimension by Hisseini traits, so that the Arbaeen visit becomes an occasion to transform this materialistic and self-intersted human being, and the instinctive, submissive human being into the superior human being who aspires to elevation, sublimity, and advancement to the level of Husseini purity.
