This study, entitled “The Critical Statements of Imam Ibn Qutaybah al-Dinawari in al-Jarḥwa al-Taʿdil through His Book Al-Maʿarif: A Critical Study,” aims to collect and analyze his critical opinions in the field of al-Jarḥwa al-Taʿdīl.
The research begins, in the first chapter, with an introduction to his name, lineage, kunya, title, birth, and death. The second chapter examines his critical expressions in al-jarḥ (discrediting narrators), analyzing six specific terms and comparing them with the statements of other scholars regarding the same narrators.
The third chapter discusses his critical expressions in al-taʿdīl (accrediting narrators), which also amount to six terms, and provides a comparative study between his evaluations and those of other hadith scholars concerning the narrators under discussion.
The study concludes with a presentation of the most significant findings reached by the researcher, followed by a list of the sources and references used in documenting all materials related to this research.

The Glorious Quran is the word of Allah Almighty, who has guaranteed its preservation from distortion and loss since it was revealed to our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and it will remain preserved until the Day of Judgment. It is the eternal miracle the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in every time and place, with its eloquence in expression, splendor in composition, and precision in formulation. The Glorious Qur’an has given special attention to the subject of belief and faith in Allah Almighty, so it has dealt with belief in Allah, His signs, His names, attributes, and belief in the angels, the messengers, His books, the jugjment day, and good and bad destiny. On othose suras that concentrates on strengthening faith is Al-Saffat surah. So, this aim of this study is to collect those verses dealing with faith and study them analytically in the light of the Prophet hadiths, the righteous predecessors' interpretations and books of the Quraanic sciences. So, the inductive and descriptive approach is followed by finding those verses which show faith in surat Al-Saffat and what the interpreters said about them. The methodology of the research paper includes : an introduction, and four sections specialized with the verses of surat Al-Saffat.

This research aims to highlight the fundamental principles related to Islamic legal rulings that Imam al-Tabari applied in the chapter on Hajj in his book, al-Ta\'liqa al-Kubra. It comprises an introduction, two main sections, and a conclusion.
The first section includes three subsections: the first defines the terms in the research title; the second introduces Imam al-Tabari; and the third introduces al-Ta\'liqa al-Kubra.
The second section also includes three subsections, each presenting one of the fundamental principles that Imam al-Tabari discussed in the chapter on Hajj in his book, al-Ta\'liqa al-Kubra. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings.

Covering a woman\'s face is a teaching of Islamic law. Some schools of thought consider it obligatory, while others consider it recommended. However, the matter differs for a woman in ihram for Hajj or Umrah due to the crowding and mixing of men and women. In these cases, the woman\'s need for the niqab is greater to cover her face when passing by unrelated men. On the other hand, a woman\'s ihram involves covering her face, which necessitates uncovering it. Therefore, the research plan includes: an introduction addressing the importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, the methodology used, and the research problem; and two sections: the first explaining the meanings of the terms, and the second addressing the ruling on the niqab for a woman in ihram.

This research paper represents an attempt to examine the subject of Maqasid-based exegesis, which has become a primary focus for many scholars and researchers specializing in Islamic studies. The study centers on highlighting the efforts of al-Maraghi and his methodological grounding of the features of Maqasid-based interpretation through his exegesis of the verses of the Quran and his clarification of the intended meanings of Allah the Exalted therein. May Allah have mercy upon him, he incorporated both general and specific objectives within the course of his tafsir and systematically articulated them in a clear and accessible manner so that readers could readily benefit from his work. This reflects the considerable effort he exerted in documenting and elucidating this approach.

This research aims to demonstrate the impact of the objectives of Islamic law (maqasid al-shari\'ah) on determining the rulings of contemporary issues related to digital transactions, such as electronic contracts, digital currencies, and modern financing platforms. It also seeks to clarify the extent to which the maqasid-based approach can address the apparent conflict between specific texts and the demands of the evolving technological landscape. The research problem is framed by the following question: To what extent can the objectives of Islamic law be adopted as a determining factor in evaluating digital transactions and ensuring their legitimacy without compromising fundamental principles? The importance of this research stems from the expanding scope of the digital economy and the need for a jurisprudential framework that safeguards wealth, prevents uncertainty and harm, and keeps pace with technological advancements. The research employs an inductive, analytical, and comparative methodology across the four major schools of Islamic jurisprudence, utilizing the maqasid-based approach. The research concludes that the maqasid-based approach is an effective tool for determining the rulings of legal opinions when it adheres to the principles of Islamic jurisprudence. It recommends the establishment of joint technical jurisprudential committees to study contemporary digital issues.

This study examines the rulings governing timing in financial partnership contracts, namely Mudarabah, Musaqah, and Muzaraʿah. The research begins by collecting and analyzing the technical definitions of these contracts as articulated by the four Sunni schools of Islamic jurisprudence. These definitions are examined in detail, and the most authoritative views are identified.
The study concludes that jurists differ regarding the permissibility of stipulating a time period in Mudarabah: some permit it, while others prohibit such stipulation. The research ultimately favors the view that allows Mudarabah to be time-bound. With regard to Musaqah, the study finds no juristic opinion prohibiting its timing; rather, all discussions of timing in Musaqah support its permissibility. As for Muzaraʿah, the study concludes that the preponderant opinion permits its timing, whereas the opposing view that disallows timing is considered weak.

This paper argues that creedal fortification constitutes an epistemic and civilizational necessity in light of cultural challenges that threaten the identity of the Islamic world. It further maintains that creedal fortification is not merely a provisional defensive mechanism grounded in temporary human reasoning; rather, it is an integrated Qur’anic system rooted in divine revelation, harmonizing its doctrinal foundations with epistemic, educational, and civilizational dimensions. The study adopts Sūrat al-Aʿrāf as a paradigmatic model upon which this framework may be constructed, given its juxtaposition of the paths of guidance and misguidance, its narratives of vicegerency and empowerment, and its articulation of the divine patterns governing civilizational rise and decline.

The introduction explains the importance of knowledge in general and Islamic jurisprudence in particular, due to its significance for the legally accountable person and its role in improving the individual and society. The preface presents the definition of usuli controls in language and in technical usage. The first subsection discusses usuli controls related to commands and prohibitions. The second subsection discusses usuli controls related to what is disliked. The third subsection discusses usuli controls related to what is obligatory. The study ends with a conclusion, followed by the list of sources and references.

My research is entitled: “Jurisprudential Maxims and Regulations Extracted from the Book al-Mustasfa by Imam Hafiz al-Din al-Nasafi (d. 710 AH), the Book of Purification, Chapter: What Has Been Reported Regarding Leftover Water (Su’r): A Compilation and Study”. This study has been submitted to the Journal of the College of Islamic Sciences at Tikrit University.

The introduction explains the importance of knowledge in general and Islamic jurisprudence in particular, due to its significance for the legally accountable person and its role in reforming both the individual and society. The preface provides a definition of the jurisprudential maxim in its linguistic and technical meanings.

The Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) interaction with the Mothers of the Believers is characterized by gentleness and tolerance. Even in moments of jealousy or disagreement, he treated his wives with mercy and fairness, embodying a practical example of Islamic ethics within the Prophetic household. This conduct serves as an educational model for the Muslim community in how to treat women, reinforcing religious and moral values within society.

This study deals with the analysis of the character of Awj bin Anq. He is one of the legendary characters as mentioned in books of interpretation and Israeli stories. He is described as a strange and controversial character. He is said to be the son of a woman called Aqbbint Adam, according to some sayings, and it has been said otherwise. Among the most prominent things reported about him is that he is a man of exceptionally tall, great stature, or that he used to drink water from the clouds. This is what made the commentators differ as to the truth of his matter. Is it a real fact? Or just a myth from the stories of the children of Israel? Most of the narratives are without authentic support. Rather, Some scholars consider it to be an Israeli hadith whose veracity cannot be certain. Indeed, many hadith scholars and commentators have denied its veracity explaining the extent of its reliance on some interpretations in fabricated or extraneous narrations, and the research method adopted critical analysis of the narrations and their documentation, along with their dimensions with the methods of scholars in accepting news or responding to it .

This study seeks to present and revisit the thesis of Malek Bennabi on the individual and his role in building civilization revival, in a way that engages with contemporary issues and questions in this field. The aim is to construct rational perspectives and foundations derived from Bennabi’s texts.
The study is divided into two main sections. The first focuses on the foundational concepts of the study’s title, how their meanings are defined, and how their function is traced within his intellectual project. The second section examines the principles that grant the individual a role in the process of building civilization.

The study examines the jurisprudential issues in which Ibn Rushd; the Grandson differed from his grandfather, Ibn Rushd; the Grandfather, within the Book of Marriage in Bidayat al-Mujtahid. The research consists of an introduction and one chapter, which includes a preface and three sections. The Introduction discusses the general importance of knowledge and highlights the particular significance of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) for both individuals and society. The preface addresses the concept of divergence (Mukhalafat), defining it both linguistically and terminologically. Section one discusses the minimum amount of the dowry (ṣadāq). Section two examines the validity of manumission (ʿitq) as a dowry. Section three analyzes the legal ruling concerning marriage contracted by a person suffering from a terminal (feared) illness. The study ends with a summary of the findings, followed by a list of references.

Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the illuminating Book and described him as the unlettered Prophet. Although he lived among eloquent Arabs, he was understood to neither read nor write, which was one of his miracles. The Qur’an, revealed in clear Arabic, was his greatest miracle. With the emergence of Islamic sects, interpretations of the term “unlettered Prophet” differed according to doctrinal views. This study highlights the significance of this attribute, showing that the Prophet’s unlettered nature is a mark of perfection, not deficiency, unlike in other people.
