Abstract
The narrations we divided according to the topics included the interpretation of some verses of the Holy Qur’an reported by Imam Hussein: peace be upon him, according to Imam Al-Ridha, peace be upon him. We often did not include the sources of the narrations by the Imam; peace be upon him, due to their clarity, as the scholars elaborated on them in terms of their support and documentation of the narrations and books. So, we do not enter into the traditional way of working because our research is brief, and it is impossible to present the support for all the narrations issued. Our goal was not to complete the investigation and extrapolate. It would have been a more significant explanation of quantity and quality if it had been included.
The real goal is to access some of the interpretive enlightenments of Al-Hussein and Al-Ridhwiyya that came from them. May peace be upon them. We can call the interpretation of Imam Al-Rida, peace be upon him, of the Holy Qur’an., and what he mentioned about Imam Al-Hussein was that peace be upon him, “the witness’s interpretation,” because of the absence, marginalization, and loss he suffered from, and there is nothing left. He only has a simple explanation: even though he is the eighth pure Imam, peace be upon them.
Therefore, getting to know the divine approach that the pure Imams followed, peace be upon them, in interpreting the Holy Qur’an and contemplating its verses, as they are the perfect truth (those who are firmly established in knowledge), and they, peace be upon them, are the people of the Qur’an with the testimony of the Seal of the Prophets, may God bless him and his family, as he said in his last sermon on the day God Almighty took him. God Almighty said: (Indeed, I have left among you two things that you will never go astray after me as long as you adhere to them: the Book of God and my descendants, the people of my household, for the Most Kind and All-Knowing ,has entrusted me that they will not be separated until they return to me at the Basin like these two - and he combined his two fingers - and I do not say like these - and he combined the fingers - so one of them precedes the other, so hold fast to them and do not go astray, and do not advance them or go astray. It will become apparent from the details of the research the role of Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him, in his interpretive efforts for Qur’anic verses according to the following scientific division, according to the research plan, which we will divide into an introduction, keywords, and two topics:
The first section: The reasons for the revelation and the interpretation of some verses.
The second topic: Imam Hussein’s interpretation using the narration of Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him, for the general verses of the Qur’an and its sciences, the most prominent of which are verses on rulings, morals, and Quranic stories. All of this will become clear in the course of the study.
