This study suggests ways to keep the bachelor program at the Arabic Language Department up to date and in line with the rapid technological advancement of our modern day. The study is also driven by the department’s desire to continuously develop its programs and teaching methodology to ensure the best learning opportunities. The study uses a survey approach that looks into the application of artificial intelligence techniques in the educational system and how effective they can be in enhancing Arabic language skills. A questionnaire was developed to collect primary data from the study group and was divided into three sections: the first explores students’ familiarity with artificial intelligence; the second looks into the areas where it can be applied; and the third, focuses on the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing the skills of the department’s graduates. The goals achieved from this study included: improving the quality of teaching Arabic language and literature at the university level; and developing skills related to the language, such as: correct pronunciation, eloquent conversation, writing properly, and analyzing literary texts. The study concluded with the increasing importance of artificial intelligence tools in the field of learning and teaching, especially with regards to Arabic language

Lady Sakina bint Al-Hussein (peace be upon them) between truth and fabrication in the historical novel "The Forgotten Princesses." by Jamal explores the historical account of Lady Sakina bint Al-Hussein (peace be upon them) and Aisha bint Talha. The novel, published in its first edition in 2011, lacks authentic content, especially regarding the biography of the wise Lady Sakina bint Al-Hussein (peace be upon them). The book lacks reliable sources untainted by political turmoil, biases, and personal opinions. It often presents embellished narratives that appeal to weak minds and uninformed individuals. Those who lack knowledge and enlightenment tend to follow such narratives and behaviors. There is a temporal and environmental gap between the author and the subjects, with the latter witnessing the degradation of heavenly values and Islamic teachings, while the former praises and admires such values. Psychological factors also play a role, as some individuals see themselves in places of shame and dissolution rather than places of asceticism and solitude. The study aims to refute the statements, positions, and regrets filled within the novel and offers alternative perspectives

This study is concerned with showing some of the suggestive indications for the addition of the word "ibad" (servants) in the Holy Qur’an. When reading this word in the holy verses, we found that it was added to the apparent names, and it is added to two names only, namely ("Allah" and “Alrahman" (the Most Merciful). The study aims at explaining the reasons behind the addition of the word "ibad" to these names only and what meaning they convey that the Qur’anic text seeks to draw attention to. In some other verses, this word is added to some attached pronouns like (Na (1st person plural) - Ya (1st person singular) - Kaf (2nd person singular)- Haa (3rd person singular). It is found that each pronoun has its connotations that are specific to it. The first part of this study is devoted to talk about the indications of the addition of "ibad" to the apparent noun, while the second part will talk about the indications of its addition to the pronouns

The current research seeks to identify the level of synchronous thinking among Arabic language teachers and its relationship to the achievement of their students. In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the current study relied on the descriptive, correlational approach as an approach to the current research through a sample of Arabic language teachers in the First Rusafa Education Directorate, amounting to (100) teachers. In order to collect data and information about the level of synchronous thinking among Arabic language teachers, the scale (Abbas, 2020) was adopted, in addition to collecting data and information about academic achievement through their grades in the first course. After verifying the validity and reliability of the synchronous thinking scale among Arabic language teachers, it was Application of the current study The current study reached the following results:
1. The level of simultaneous thinking among Arabic language teachers at the primary level was high
2. The level of achievement of sixth-grade primary school students in the Arabic language subject was high
3. There is a statistically significant relationship between Arabic language teachers’ synchronous thinking and their students’ achievement in the sixth grade of primary school

In his book, Muhammad bin Tahir Al-Samawi mixed the schools of grammarians, so his problems were a mixture of Kufic grammar, Basri grammar, and those who followed them from the Baghdadi, Andalusians, and Egyptians who were the owners of grammar schools. He often relied on the appropriateness between chapters in his presentation of grammatical issues, despite the fact that the percentage of opinions to their authors is one of the important matters required by scientific research, but most of the general information in Al-Samawi’s book came without any reference to the doctrine or attributing opinions to their authors. Perhaps his approach in presenting opinions is due to his unwillingness to delve into controversy as many grammarians did, or perhaps he For him, the disagreement is of no benefit or benefit, and sometimes we find him content with presenting the issue, and choosing for himself a doctrine different from what is stated in the main books - and this is what we will explain in its place - or he states an opinion that agrees with one of the doctrines, but he does not stipulate in it what they went for, that is, he is satisfied with the generality of the restriction. Not about him, and sometimes you find him preferring two doctrines at the same time without preferring or choosing one of them.
The above gives Al-Samawi a distinctive style in presenting grammatical issues, and at the same time his approach is not devoid of some drawbacks, such as digression in some controversial issues, as well as ambiguity and brevity in presenting the issues, and more than that, he is criticized for leaving many grammatical issues - especially controversial ones - blank. It is evidence that may help the reader understand the issue, and this is what we clearly see in many of the chapters of its three sections

The researcher followed the descriptive approach, and to achieve this goal, a random sample of English language teachers and supervisors, representative of the original community, was chosen. It amounted to (100) male and female teachers and (10) supervisors from the General Directorate of Missan Education. The researcher adopted the questionnaire as a tool for his research, and it was distributed electronically to the sample. The questionnaire consisted of (64). Items divided into four domains: (objectives, content, educational activities, evaluation). To treat the data statistically, the researcher used (percentages, chi-square, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach’s alpha equation, weighted means, standard deviations, and percentage weights). The result of the research was that the comprehensive quality standards in the English language book for the fourth grade of primary school were achieved to a weak degree

This study aims to explain an important conception of the marshland region in southern Iraq from two important aspects. The first is to explain natural geographical characteristics of the marshland areas in terms of the way they are formed. It has also been shown that there are distinct climatic characteristics of marshes areas in terms of temperature, evaporation, relative humidity and rain that may be relatively different from that prevailing in other sedimentary plain areas in Iraq. The study also demonstrated the paramount importance of the marshland's water recharge sources, which included the sprawling streams of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, as well as watercourses hailing from the Iranian highlands from the east. The second aspect of this study focused on two importance activity carried out by the inhabitants of the southern Iraqi lagoons: bird hunting and fishing, which clearly showed that the natural environment contributed to the requirements of these crafts in the region. The improvement of communicative competence in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) is essential for Iraqi learners to involve effectively in personal, academic, and professional contexts. However, learners often face obstacles like shyness and bullying that could hinder their language acquisition and participation in classroom activities. This research examines strategies to overcome those obstacles and endorse a supportive learning environment that nurtures communicative capability amongst Iraqi EFL learners. Through a wide-ranging literature review, the study inspects theoretical perspectives from the affective filter hypothesis, sociocultural theory, and motivational backgrounds to comprehend the multidimensional factors influencing language learning practices. The conceptual model offered integrates individual factors (shyness, anxiety, motivation), social features (bullying, peer relationships, classroom climate), and pedagogical methods to explore their relationship in developing communicative competence. The research theorizes that targeted interventions, like affective strategies, anti-bullying programs, and supportive learning techniques, can alleviate the negative impacts of shyness and bullying, thereby enhancing learners' communicative capabilities. The findings have important implications for EFL teaching practices in Iraq, highlighting the importance of creating inclusive classrooms, applying communicative language teaching approaches, cultivating peer support, and addressing socio-cultural effects. Eventually, this study contributes to the body of knowledge on endorsing communicative competence and presents applied references for educators, policymakers, and shareholders in the arena of EFL education in Iraq

This study aims to demonstrate the concept of the Arabic preposition "khilāl" from a cognitive semantic perspective. Prototype theory, image schema, and metaphor theory are used to analyze the data Some of the Arabic expressions are chosen to be analyzed. It has been found that the spatial meaning of the preposition "khilāl" is its prototype meaning. The source-path-goal schema and the spatial metaphor are used to extend the meaning of the word from the spatial to non-spatial domains. These results lead to the conclusion that a given preposition's prototype meaning, "khilāl" is the source of all of its non-prototypical meanings

The research aims to use remote sensing data and geographic information systems software to model maps to estimate the extent of water erosion according to the Gavrilovic method for the Kai Brakh valley basin, which is located in northern Iraq in Dohuk Governorate, specifically in the Sindi district of Zakho District, which has an area of (187.37 km2). This model is adopted in It was applied to temperature, rainfall, vegetation cover, soil, and slope, and all of these data were integrated into the program (ARC GIS 10.4.1) using mathematical formulas for the purpose of obtaining erosion levels. The map of potential erosion of the Kai Brakh Valley Basin showed that more than (93.65%) of the basin area falls within the range of severe and very severe erosion, and this is consistent with moderate and strong slopes devoid of vegetation. It was also clear from applying the Gavrilovic model equation that the basin contains three types levels of erosion are (moderate, severe, and very severe), and their areas reached (1.26, 49.05, and 137.06 km2), respectively.
