The aim of this study was to know of the effect of adding black tea powder residues to poultry diets. In this experiment ,120 birds were divided into three groups, each group was 4 replicates. The groups were control group (black tea residues powder was not added to the feed). first treatment group (added black tea residues powder at a ratio of 60 mg/ kg of feed. Second treatment group (added black tea residues powder at a ratio of 160 mg/ kg of feed). Blood samples were collected at the end of the experiment to measure packed cell volume (P.C.V), hemoglobin (H b) , total white blood cell count (W.B.C), total red blood cell account (R.B.C), also to calculated cho-lesterol low density lipoprotein (LDL), high density lipopro-tein(HDL) , glucose and the levels of productive characteristic weekly such as average of weight rate ,adequate increase ,the aver-age of feed consumption and the rate of food conversation .Then we measured the levels of antioxidant enzymes such as SOD (super ox-ide dismutase ), MDA (malondialdehyde), CAT (Catalas), GST (glu-tathione transferase (SSH( )Glutathion peroxidase (The result showed that there is significant P≤0.05 effect of added black tea res-idues powder on the level of antioxidant enzymes ,and there is effect in lowering of cholesterol , glucose. there is no significant effect of added black tea residues powder on the level of H b, P.C.V, R.B.C. and W.B.C.

The natural compounds are considered one of the important nat-ural source for giving effective and medicinal compounds, espe-cially in the varions aspects due to the nature of their composition, safety of use and of access to their sources in nature. One of these plants is Lepidium sativum that grown in Iraq. In this research, volatile oils were separated from the seeds and calculating their concentration in ratio and also identification with GLC- technique which included. (alpha-pinene, Linalool, comphour, camphere, limonene, terpene and Myrcene). Also chromatographic analysis showed that the seeds contain of many of many of fatty acid com-pounds which included: (palmitic acid, oleic acid, Linoleic acid, stearic acid, Eicosenoic acid, linolinic acid, butyric acid and un-deconaic acid).

This study was conducted in the Nursery of the Forestry Depart-ment of the College of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Mosul on the seeds of Ceratonia siliqua L. pre-treating their seeds with con-centrated sulfuric acid 98% for different periods (0, 5, 10 and 15 minutes) and then exposing them to electric shock for different peri-ods also (0, 3 and 6 minutes). Some physiological characteristics chlorophyll (a) and (b), total chlorophyll, proteins, and percentage of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium were studied. The results showed the superiority of immersion treatment in sulfuric acid (15) minutes for the percentage of total proteins, nitrogen and potassium elements and treatment for 10 minutes gave the highest rate of total phosphorous compared with the control. The treatment with 5 minutes gave the highest rate of chlorophyll (a and b) compared with the control treatment. As for the effect of electric shock, treatment with 6 minutes recorded the highest rates for the percentage of total proteins, nitrogen, potassium and chlorophyll (a and b), while treat-ment with 3 minutes gave the highest rate of phosphorous compared with the control treatment. As for the interaction effect for both fac-tors, treatment (5 minute of H2So4 x 6 minute of electrical shock) recorded the highest rates for the leaves content of chlorophyll (b) and total chlorophyll, and the interaction treatment (15x6) gave the highest rates of protein and for nitrogen and potassium %, except for phosphorous in the leves, the highest rates were recorded with (15x3) treatment.

This field study was carried out in the plastic canopy of the Dept. of Horticulture and Landscape, College of Agriculture / University of Kerbala on 2019 (during spring season). The design of the exper-iment was a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The experiment included nine treatments resulting from the combinations among three concentrations of the regular NPK fertilizer (0, 3, and 6) g. l-1 with NPK nano-fertilizer (0, 1.5, and 3) g. l-1 in order to investigate the impact of foliar addition with these single and combined treatments on strawberry plants cultivar Ruby gem. The results showed that the spraying of the NPK nano fertilizer in combination with the regular fertilizer NPK (at different combinations) had a significant effect on the leaf area and the content of leaves from chlorophyll (985 cm2, 44.27 SPAD) respectively, which was reflected on the fruit yield and quality represented by the size, length, diameter and weight of the fruit (17.67 cm3, 37.87 mm, 32.92 mm, 15.13g) respectively in addition to the content of the fruits of total soluble solids and lycopene pigment (17.00%, 0.1890 mg/100 ml) respectively. It could be concluded that it is possible to rely on the use of modern nano-fertilizer technology combined with normal fertilizer in low quantities of recommendations to reach the optimal production of various agricultural crops and reduce the en-vironmental impact by severe usage of the fertilizer’s recommenda-tions.
