Abstract
This paper description on various methods for solving advance layout problem and describe
a novel method based on genetic algorithms to solve machine layout problem. This research
present an exhaustive study of hybrid simple genetic algorithm (HGS) and hybrid steady state
genetic ( HGSS).
Genetic algorithms were used in conjunction with local optimizer and separation algorithm
to find optimal spatial layouts. A single population was used in both twelve- machine (entity )
layout and more complex forty-five machine layout problem. In this work we used Delphi
language to solve this problem.
