The aim of the research is to identify the ratios of the application of individual defensive duties in handball for the Iraqi team in the Asian Championship 2020. As well as to identify the different ratios for the application of individual defensive duties between the Iraqi team matches in the Asian handball competition. The two researchers used the descriptive method in a method of analysis and observation by watching some Iraqi handball matches, since this method is the most appropriate to the natureof the research problem and it is one of the approved scientific research methods. The two researchers presented the results and discussed them through what the researchers obtained from the results of the match analysis form, so the researchers concludedthe following : oThe Iraqi handball team succeeded relatively in limiting offensive movements in performing individual defensive duties in the 2020 Asian Championship. oWeak interestin defense training, especially training in individual defense duties, during training curricula, and the focus mostly on attacking them. oThe lack of foreign participation has negatively affected the experience of the Iraqi national team players in their performance of the player\'s defense duties, and thus a large.

Also, the results revealed that there were no significant differences in the domains and the total score of the role ofmedia in disseminating sport culture lraq universities students according tothe gender variable.Theresearchersrecommended several recommendations where the most important are the need to quantitatively and qualitatively promote and develop the media programs, and to hold special programs and seminars in thelraquniversities concerning the importance of sports and its impact on enhancing social, health and cultural life, and creating the spirit of patriotism.
