The communication across culture may become less frustrating if we know that different communicative style, and different norms of social interaction are not only universal but also simple and easy to understand. Good communicative outcomes may come out of the reduction in discriminatory language or harmful speech, more effective learning of the other culture's language, dialect, or style by members of both (all) cultures.

Inversion is a change of the normal order of the constituent parts. The Poets have been using many ways to make language become such a valuable and flexible means of transferring ideas. Sometimes, a simple way of forming a sentence or a bit strange order of words can make ideas become so impressive and unforgettable – inversion is one of those ways which create great effects for literary works.

The current research is devoted to tackle full information about morphological and syntactic features of the English modals with reference to different modal forms. Modal forms are posed here whether in contracted or uncontracted shape, in negative or affirmative forms

The language of the Glorious Qur'an needs wide knowledge and a great linguistic competence in order to understand the different aspects of such a language, such as syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic. The current study aims at shedding light on the pragmatic meaning of ellipsis. The elliptical structures need inferences which are based on linguistic knowledge of the addressee to understand the intended meaning of Glorious Ayas. It is not easy to determine the elliptical structures with their intended meaning unless there is wide knowledge and a rhetorical background. To carry out this study, many examples from the Glorious Quran are analyzed in order to show the pragmatic meaning of the elliptical structures and the inferences of the addressee. It is found that the grammatical structure and the context have a great influence on the explanation of the intended meaning. The purposes of ellipsis are different from one Ayah to another. Additionally, the purposes are expressed in Arabic are different from those in English. The research deals with different types of ellipsis, such as the ellipsis of the subject, verb, object, letters, etc. An authorized translation of the Glorious Quran is adopted in this study. The main conclusions of this study show that the context and linguistic knowledge are important in determining the pragmatic meaning of ellipsis. The pragmatic meaning is different from one Ayah to another. Thus, the pragmatic meaning reveals the miraculous language of the Glorious Quran and the inferences which are based on linguistic knowledge are important in clarifying the intended meaning of

The present study is devoted to explore the consistent angry and rebellious nature of the poetry of the controversial black American poet Le Roi Jones or (Amiri Baraka), as he later on called himself after conversing to Islam. It attempts to show how he manipulated poetry to set free his anger and oppositionof the American dream and the American way of life. Language and Poetry are Baraka‟s major mediums which aim at revealing the falsehood of the American labels. They are also the vehicles to indicate the existence and the role of the African-Americans in the modern American community. His objection to the American way of life sometimes becomes very extreme that he calls his fellow black Americans to work and destroy it because it only reflects the white standards of life. The study also examines how Gates‟s theory of the „Signifying Monkey‟ is applicable on Baraka‟s poetry. It also attempts to show some of the characteristics of Baraka‟s style and the techniques used to express his anger through poetry.
