Safety is the continuing process for improving knowledge level including the process of learning and acquiring information. This mean that constant exposer with new thoughts and ideas would make people skills better and better workers, it well increases the thinking level and ability of understanding the importance of human safety. The purpose of this research is to study the reality of labs in University of Samarra, Iraq, and evaluate the levels of student knowledge about how avoiding the hazards. It also shows that there is a need to reevaluate the safety issue in all labs. For this reason, there was two questionnaires used to collect data and were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The cross-sectional survey was conducted at three colleges with a sample size 86 teachers and 120 students. As an example, the result showed that 68% were can’t deal with waste hazards. The overall, analysis outcome refers to enhance labs of the university, staff development and lab safety should be taught as a course in the study.

Determinations of specific activity concentrations of ten building materials samples acquired from various governors (Baghdad, Najif, Babylon, Salahaddin, Karbala, Sulaymniya and Kadesea) were done utilizing (HPGe) detector. Results of estimation have demonstrated that average values of specific activity concentrations for 238U, 232Th and 40K were equivalent to (20.568 Bq/kg), (22.829 Bq/kg) and (192.691 Bq/kg), respectively. Less than their comparing suggested worldwide esteems detailed by (UNSCEAR, 2000) publication. The radiation hazard indices [Raeq ,DƔ , (AEDE) in ,(AEDE) out , Iɣ , Hin and Hex] were additionally considered, and all the obtained results and their average value results were likewise observed to be not as much as their relating permitted limits given by (UNSCEAR , 2000). This research has been included a practical study to detect the radioactive materials in the water and the stones of Nineveh city in Iraq. It is known that Radon gas is the natural product of the Uranium decomposition. Therefore, this study focused on measuring the quantity of Radon element on some chosen mineral waters in this city which indicate of the presence of Uranium on these samples. The presence of Uranium and Radon are studied using the technique of detection the alpha particles paths that emitted from these elements using the nuclear detections methods which depend on the polymeric detectors.
The paths and signs of alpha particles are occurred by the reaction of these particles with the sensitive part of the polymeric detector. The paths of alpha particles are studied using the optical microscope after the chemical scraping (or chemical treatment) of the polymeric detector. The results show circular spots with different diameters on the detector which related to the number of charged particles that emitted from radioactive compounds like the Radon gas.

Vascular cell apoptosis, an active type of programmed cell death, has crucial role in atherosclerosis, thus promoting the acceleration of acute cardiovascular events. The importance of this work due to threre is no data clarify about using of new protease activated receptor antagonist on apoptotic activity in liver tissue . Our result confirmed the ability of vorapaxar and its nanoparticles asignificant reduction in serum urea and urea concentration after 10 weeks of treatment. The present study confirmed there is highly a significant (P˂0.05) increase in the percentages of apoptosis in liver tissue after exposed to oxidative stress specially in T2 and T3 as compared to control and other treated groups.
