A simple, rapid, and accurate spectrophotometric method is suggested for the estimation of phenylephrine -HCl (PHE-H). The method included adding an excess amount (known) of N-bromosuccinamide (NBS) in an acidic medium to oxidize PHE-E, and then the residual NBS was estimated by the bleaching color of methyl orange dye(M.O), the intensity of bleaching dye at the 518 nm was measured. The NBS amount reacts to PHE-H concentration in the actual solution. Beer's law was obeyed in the 2-25 μg /20 ml range with good molar absorptivity of 1.0705x 105 l.mol-1.cm-1 The proposed method was applied successfully to determine PHE-H in its pharmaceutical preparation.

This study illustrates the effect of adding sodium silicate as a reinforced material of different weight ratios (1%, 3%, 5%, 7%, 9%, and 11%) to epoxy resin to synthesize composite materials. The mechanical and physical properties, namely compressive strength, hardness, impact strength, and thermal conductivity, were employed on the prepared composites. All experiments were conducted with two temperatures of 22C° and 52C°, respectively, to demonstrate the effect of the temperatures of these properties on the resin behavior. The results showed that (compression strength and hardness) decreased with a rise within the weight ratios of sodium silicate. However, an increase in the impact strength and high values of thermal conductivity of epoxy were noticed with the rise in the weight ratios of sodium silicate.

This review discusses the chemical components of Teucrium polium L. extract, a plant species belonging to the Lamiaceae family. The extract has been used medicinally for centuries because to its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antispasmodic, and antioxidant characteristics. Many methods, including as GC-MS, HPLC, and NMR spectroscopy, have been used to determine the extract's chemical make-up. Terpenoids, flavonoids, and phenolic acids have been isolated as the primary chemical components. Monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and diterpenes, as well as flavonoids including apigenin, luteolin, and quercetin, have all been identified in the extract. Antioxidant, antiinflammatory, analgesic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, and anticancer characteristics are among the many pharmacological effects attributed to these substances. Teucrium polium L. extract has medicinal characteristics and prospective therapeutic uses that may be better understood if its chemical components were identified and characterized

Flavonoids, stilbenes, and phenolic acids are medicinal plants' most commonly studied polyphenols. Polyphenols play a crucial role in the biological activity of medicinal plants and contribute to their therapeutic potential.
