Throughout historical eras, the city of Hilla was crowded with Husseiniyas and mosques, which reflects the religious commitment of the people of the city and what They provided great services to science and religion. Religious lessons and prophetic hadiths were taught in Husseiniyas and mosques, and this religious commitment among the city’s Muslim residents resulted in the building of Husseiniyas and mosques throughout the city, as I want to highlight their spiritual importance through their construction, which began to expand as the city expanded and its population increased.

Ibn Al-Batriq (523-600 AH/1129-1204 AD) was one of the famous Hillian families, with abundant knowledge and broad thought. He was considered one of those who followed the broad approach through his knowledge of interpreting and clarifying dilemmas in hadith and other things. He did not monopolize this only on his opinion, but he sought to comprehensively explore opinions and discuss the chains of narrations, and not to rely on them without scientific evidence. He used many resources, including the Holy Qur’an, the Prophet’s Hadith, poetry, and Sunni sources (Al-Sihah). He took into account the chronological sequence, as well as the distinct style of presentation due to its high accuracy and extreme care.

Studying scientific family in the context of the debate about the nature of social disparity carries a special importance, stemming from the role of that family in supporting the scientific movement, and the truth is that this vision can open before us wide possibilities for research in the field of modernization and the formation of the scientific elite from the family, and here by elite we mean a group of people. They possessed scientific ability that helped bring about intellectual change in the areas where they were located.
The sample of Al-Kamal Al-Din ‘s family is described as part of the state of intellectual change witnessed in Hilla in particular and Iraq in general, in comparison to what this family provided from the scientific and jurisprudential elite that had a major role in the region in which he lived, and their influence even reached beyond the borders of the homeland (Iraq), and from here comes The subject of the study is “Al-Kamal Al-Din Al-Hilli’s family and its intellectual role” to show the extent of the active participation represented by the pioneer thinkers from the family. Especially since they descend from that pure lineage of the Household, peace be upon them, which in itself is an opportunity to address the issue of the intellectual role of the family, define the research problem, and answer the question raised about the extent of the connection between the issue of scientific being and the development of the structure of the modern Iraqi cultural field. One of the goals of this study is to draw attention to an essential component of this intellectual trend relates to the contributions of the Kamal al-Din family to the Hillian heritage.

The research followed the linguistic references mentioned by Ibn Idris in his book book (Al-Sara’ir Al-Hawi le Tahrir Al-Fatawy) when he dealt with jurisprudential issues, which prompted him to invoke the language and return to its people to strengthen and reinforce what he argued, which is one of his important sources.
The research counted these indications and verified them by referring to language sources to reinforce what Ibn Idris argued in (37) places.

This research was concerned with explaining the influence of Taqi al-Din al-Nili in grammatical reasoning, and the field of this was his valuable book (Al-Tuhfa al-Shifa fi Sharh al-Kafiya), after it was proven that this research was not revealed by scholars concerned with proving the prominent grammatical influence of this grammatical scholar.
The studied material was divided into two sections, one of which was devoted to establishing grammatical reasoning and the stages of its development until the time of Al-Nilili. The other section was concerned with revealing the features of Al-Nilli’s grammatical reasoning in (Al-Tuhfah Al-Shafi’ah).
Then the research concluded with the most important results, and perhaps the most important of them was Taqi Al-Din Al-Nilil’s intense interest in grammatical reasoning in his explanation. His reasoning included explaining the foundations of grammatical rulings and the branches of the issues he studied, and we note that There is not a page of the book that was devoid of one or more explanations for a grammatical rule, or a discussion of the explanations of the text that explains it, or a mention of the explanations of the grammarians who preceded him, and his purpose in doing so was to prove the strength of his ability to understand grammatical reasons.

Shiite literature gradually progressed significantly and took on another color created by an enthusiasm that kindled the hearts and souls of the Shiites to the utmost extent. This enthusiasm was kindled only by that great tragedy and great calamity, which was the martyrdom of the grandson of the Messenger of God (PBUH), Imam Hussein (PBUH), in that painful scene. The Karbala incident caused a message of sadness that arouses enthusiasm in souls and brings tears to the eyes and poetry to the tongues.
This incident generated a huge and sophisticated literature that became the largest media outlet for this great divine renaissance. One of the features of this literature is the accurate portrayal of religious values and ideas, through intense emotional expression that carries epistolary sadness with it, and the wonderful and picturesque imagination that captures hearts.
The manifestations of religious thought had great repercussions in the poetry of Sayyed Haidar Al-Hilli, and from this standpoint, we attempt in this research to shed light on the doctrinal opinions in the poetry of Sayyed Haidar Al-Hilli about religious values represented in several topics, which relate to doctrinal, religious, moral, and educational issues.

The virtue of knowledge represented one of the great virtues that characterized the Master of the Muslims and the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib (PBUH), as it falls within his special virtues included in the book Kashf al-Yaqin, which was considered one of the important and respected books of Allama al-Hilli. This research came as a careful reading of this book so that we can discover the virtue of knowledge among the virtues, as it became clear to us that this virtue had emerged in the Imam (PBUH) in several ways to display his knowledge, such as intelligence, acumen, intense eagerness to learn, awareness, judgment, and wisdom, and that he is the way. to the knowledge of the Messenger, the heir to the prophets, the founder of the principles of science, the pavement of the foundations of religion, the expounder of the rulings of Sharia, the reference of the Companions in rulings, fatwas, and problem solving, the compiler of the Qur’an after the Prophet, and his possession of miracles that indicate his knowledge, until he challenged the scholars of his time and said to them, “Ask me before you lose me.”

This is a brief description of a manuscript from the manuscripts of the book (Gharib al-Quran) by Abu Bakr Al-Sijistani (D.330A.H.), kept in Princeton University Library in America, under the number 919. It was transcribed by a man from Hilla, in Iraq, named Jum’a Ibn Hussain Al-Sorani in 922 A.H.
This copy, in addition to the transcriber, belonged to a group of owners. And Sheikh Agha Buzurg Al-Tehrani (D.1389A.H.) had seen this copy with Sayyed Ali Al-Shahristani (D.1335A.H.) in the Holy City of Karbala before it moved to the above-mentioned library.

Anti-Arabism is a movement whose first seed appeared in the Umayyad era, but its emergence was clearly in the Abbasid era. It believes that the preference of the non-Arabs over the Arabs and that the Arabs have no superiority over the non-Arabs in any way. The true religion erased this characteristic with its famous saying (There is no difference between an Arab and a non-Arab except through piety) and that Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Hilli explained Anti-Arabism’s history, roots, and its advocates, and cited their poetry and positions.

It is no secret that Qur’anic recitations are considered one of the scholarly topics in which disagreement has occurred regarding their frequency or lack thereof between Islamic schools of thought, and the lack of a relationship between the Qur’an and the frequency of recitations, as the Imamiyyah and some scholars of the school of the Companions see, due to the existence of differences between them, and whatever disagreement there is, this does not mean that there is no value. Its scientific and practical significance is such that it has been abandoned in contemporary Qur’anic studies, and its importance has been demonstrated by the scholars of Hilla since the emergence of the seminary there until the tenth century AH and its move to the Holy City of Najaf. These works of theirs, books of deductive jurisprudence and interpretation, are evidence of the interest in them from a scientific and practical standpoint in the place of inference, refutation, and conclusions.
The research came to show the importance of this topic and to return to interest in Qur’anic readings, especially in interpretation, and relying on them for interpretive weighting and determining a specific significance in the Holy Qur’an, even in the way that it is one of the famous readings or dealing with it as interpretive news or linguistic data for one of the Arab languages, and for this reason The researcher paid attention to it and showed an example of the interest of Imami scholars in Qur’anic readings at a stage in the history of the Imami seminary in Hilla that cannot be overlooked. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon Muhammad and his pure family.
