The objectives of the research were to identify evaluation level of continuing education courses,
which held at college of agriculture and forestry /Mosul University, then to determine the variance in
trainee\'s point of view according to some characteristics and to recognize the obstacles facing the training
courses and the suggestions to overcome them. The research population consisted of (109) trainees
distributed on six training courses, 20 of them were choosen for the pretest of the questionnaire and the
study population consisted of 89 respondents. The data collected through a questionnaire form consisting
of three parts. The first part included the trainees\' characteristics. The second part included 32 criteria for
evaluation of training in four fields. The third part included two open questions to explore the obstacles of
training and development proposals. Face validity used for questionnaire. The Alpha-Cronbach method
used to calculate reliability and its value was (0.7539). After the data collection, unloading and used
classification: the frequency, percentages, weighted mean, percent weight, t-test, and f-test used to
analyze the data. The results showed that the level of evaluation of continuing education courses in
general averaged To the height, and the course (methods of transfer of agricultural techniques) achieved
the first ranking in the evaluation with an average of (80.700) degree, while the final ranking of the
course (agricultural experiments design and analysis) an average of (68,777)degree . The results showed
that level of evaluation of continuing education courses is medium, there were no variance in trainee\'s
opinions about evaluation according to their age, academic achievement, scientific specialization,
experience period, and participation in previous training, the results showed some obstacles facing
trainees and their suggestions to overcome them

Iraq witnesses a deficit in the production of agriculture products compared to its domestic
needs. This is due to the low contribution of agricultural products in agricultural output, due to a
number of obstacles, including water resources, soil quality, economic factors, lag in the
methods of agricultural production and social problem in rural areas of Iraq. The study was
based on a hypothesis that the decline in the quantities of agricultural production in Iraq led to a
low rate of contribution of agricultural products in agricultural output during the period 1990-
2016. In order to prove the hypothesis of the research, the agricultural output was divided into
four categories, plant products, animal products, forest resources and fish wealth .It was based on
time series data in calculating the contribution ratios for each category in agricultural output. A
number of results have been reached, including a decrease in the contribution ratio of agricultural
products in agriculture output during the study period, which we conclude that the agricultural
sector did not receive sufficient attention by specialist in it as well as the stumble policy in
agricultural production therefore, we recommend increasing the value of investment allocations
in the fields of agricultural infrastructure and attracting foreign investment companies directly to
invest their funds and expertise in Iraqi agriculture and the implementation of policies and
procedures of tax protection of the local agriculture products and the development and training
of agricultural workforces on the methods of modern production

This study was conducted in laboratories of College of Agricultural Sciences / University of
Sulaimani for the period 26/4 to 06/11/2015 to investigate the effect of ginger extract treatment
and refrigeration storage periods on some chemical, sensory and bacteriological characteristics
of karadi lambs meat. Meat of Karadi lambs aged 10 months were bought from Sulaimani city
markets and has been cut into 2 cm3 sized chunks then divided into five treatments: first was
control (without treatment), second treatment meats were sprayed with 2% concentration of
ginger extract, third treatment meats were submerged into 2% concentration of ginger extract,
fourth treatment meats were sprayed with 4% concentration of ginger extract, fifth treatment
meats were submerged into 4% concentration of ginger extract. Each treatment have three
replications, samples were stored in refrigerator under 4º C for 3,6 and 9 days until chemical,
bacteriological and sensory evaluation. Results of 2 and 4% submerging treatments shows
increase in meat moisture and decrease in each protein and fat percentage in comparison with
control treatment. For the oxidative indicators there was decrease in free fatty acids percentage
and thiobarbutric acid for ginger treatments comparing with control treatment, also there was
decrease in total bacteria count and increase in tenderness and decrease in palatability for ginger
treatments comparing with control treatment. Results of treatments and storage periods
interaction shows significant differences between different treatments on free fatty acids,
thiobarbutric acid, total bacterial count and juiciness

This study was conducted of nursery of Directorate of Kirkuk Agriculture During the winter
season of (2017-2018).To study the effect of soil application two levels at humic acid (0,25)kg
.Doum -1 and spraying with three concentration of seaweed (Alga600)with (0,2and 4)g.L-1 at
vegetative growth and yield two cultivars Broad bean Turkey(Bakla sakiz) and Italy (Aquadule
supersimola). using Randomized completely Block Design (R.C.B.D) with three replicates .
Descente showed The cultivar Italy traits studied were(pod length (cm) , seed 100 weight (gm)
and single plant yield(gm). Descente showed that the addition of Humic acid was resulted in
significant in crease In ( plant height(cm), No at braches, pod length(cm) ,No pod per plant ,No
of seeds per plant, 100 seeds weight(gm), single plant yield(gm).The high level at
seaweed(Alga600) significant effect of the ( plant height(cm), No at braches , chlorophyll
Contact( CCI),No of pods per plant ,No of seeds par plant , 100 seed weight (gm) and single
plant Yield(gm). Interaction between three (Italy variety and Humic acid added and high levels
seaweed Alga600 ) gave higher of traits(pod length(cm), No at pod por plant , No at seeds per
plant, 100 seeds weigh(gm) and single plant yield(gm))

This experiment was conducted in plastic house of College of Agric. and Forestry Farm, at the
period from November 2012 to October 2013, to study the response of two cultivars of Gerbera
plants Gerbera jamesonii Bolus. ex Hook. i.e: Dameblanche (white flower) and Arrow (red
flower), to treatment with gibberellic acid GA3 at: 0, 100 and 200 mg.l-1 by spraying on
vegetative growth to wetting, and fertilized with commercial fertilizer AlminaFORTE contain a
mixture of macro and micronutrient at three concentrations: 0, 1 and 2 g.l-1 by spraying on
vegetative growth monthly. The factorial experiment conducted by using Split-Split Plot with in
Randomized Complete Block Design with three block and 15 plants for treatment. The results
showed after 4 month from planting: The Arrow plants gave the largest values of the longest
period from inflorescence bud initiation to full opening and inflorescence stalk length. On the
other hand, GA3 at 200 mg.l-1 gave a significant values of leaves number 12.80 leaf.plant-1,
inflorescence diameter, leaves area, dry weight of inflorescence and stalk. In general, Arrow and
Dameblanche plants gave a significant results when treated with GA3 at 200 mg.l-1 interact with
chemical fertilizer at 1 and 2 g.l-1 of leaves area, inflorescence diameter, dry weight of
inflorescence and stalk, inflorescence stalk length and vase life

The experiment was carried out in the fields of the Technical Institute in Mosul, the Nimrod
location (limited rainfall area, average rainfall between 200 and 350 mm per year) by adopting local
lentils variety to study the effect of planting dates (18 November and 27 January and 1 March) and
interrow spacing (10, 20 and 30 cm) on the traits: plant height, number of main branches, number of
secondary branches, number of pods.plant--1, 1000 seed weight(g) and seed yield kg.h-1 using the
randomized complete block design of with three replicates for the two agricultural seasons 2016-
2017 and 2017-2018. In both seasons, the results showed significant differences between the means
of planting dates and their combination with the planting spaces for all traits, and the means of
interrow spacing for the number of secondary branches, the number of pods.plant--1 and the seed
yield kg.h-1. The late date of planting gave the best rate of seed yield and 1000 seeds weight, while
the early date had a role in increasing the rate of growth characteristics (including plant height and
number of secondary branches). The wide space between rows had the highest mean of the most
traits, including the seed yield in both seasons. It was found that early planting in the wider space
between the rows was better for the growth characteristics in both seasons, while the effect of the
combination between the levels of factors varied on the productive characteristics and the most
important one seeds yield as the variation of planting seasons, and this explains the significant role of
environmental factors in changing the course of the effect of factors. A planting in late dates and at
wider spaces are better for productive qualities. In general, planting in late dates and at wider spaces
is preferable to productive traits

The study of optical and morphological properties of soils, which includes the color and
its spectral reflectance properties is one of modern fields of soil sciences, due to the
development of remote sensing techniques that can be used and relied upon in modern soil
science studies as effective means and a powerful tool for the purpose of assessing the
differences between the dominant soils types and the different vegetation covers and monitoring
pasture and study its general condition especially in arid and semi-arid areas. The method
includes selection of a number of sites with different uses and vegetation from the management,
fertilization and management of the irrigation then record field observations and information, the
obtaining of models, measurements, chemical and physical tests and the measurement of soil
color. The results indicated that there were variations in the values of the spectral reflectance
curves obtained by the spectral reflectance measuring device, due to the effect of difference and
variation in vegetation cover and land use, and the type of followed management in ploughing,
sowing, irrigation and fertilization, as well as different content of organic matter, salts and other
related properties. The results of the study showed that there was a wide variation in the
morphological properties as well as the physical and chemical between the sites, which included
the variation of the texture as well as the different content of organic matter, calcium carbonate,
the degree of interaction and electrical power, and may be due to the difference of climate
factors of heat and rainfall as well as the variability of topography and other factors and
processes of soil formation.

Some biological features and population density for Ceroplastes rusci L. were conducted
during the season 2012-2013 on the fig trees in the region of Qarnaw,Koisanjaq,Erbil, under
laboratory conditions(Average of Temp. 26.33°c and Humidity 53.4%. The study revealed that,
three generations could be identified in the insect's life cycle,starting in the last week of April.
The highest mean number of eggs laid by the single female of the first generation was (1795.73),
and the lowest of the third generation was (840.5).The mean period of the eggs incubation
was(7,8 ,and 27)days, and the percentage of hatching was(90 ,40.5 ,and 55.7 % at a mean of
temperature 25 , 35.8, 18.2°c and humidity 55.4 ,39.3 ,and 65.5 % for the three generations
respectively. The wintry hibernation for the insect as a stable ,second or third nymph instar
,started in the last week of January. The results have shown that there is a significant difference
of the insect numbers on tree parts, which reached (180.5 ,8.6 ,78.4 ,20.3 ,7.4 ) ,(78.8 ,12.6,11.5
,26.1 , 24 ) and (161.7 ,26.9 ,23.6 , 11.1 , 28.5 )insects on the following tree parts (a branch of
20 cm. in length , one squared inch of the lower leaf surface ,one squared inch of the upper leaf
surface ,fruits and petiole, for the three generations respectively
