Autonomous learning and effective self-regulatory strategies are becoming increasingly important in foreign language learning as, without these, students might not be able to exploit the learning opportunities outside language classrooms.
The aim of the current research is to invest age scientifically the effect of teacher-directed instruction and student-self instruction in teaching English for students at College of Physical Education and comparing between them.
It has hypothesized that there is no differences between pre and post tests between student-self instruction and teacher-directed instruction in the achievement of students in English. Also, there is no difference between pre tests and post tests of student-self instruction and teacher-directed instruction.
The sample of the research has chosen randomly among four sections. The number of the sample is 21 students from first year at College of Physical Education for Women at the academic study 2012-2013. The experiment last the whole year.
The results of the research have shown that there is no difference between student-self instruction and teacher-directed instruction in pre and post tests. Also, the teacher-directed instruction has better achievement from student-self instruction in students’ achievement in English.
It has recommended that English instructors might add some autonomy in the lectures to the students with the directed instruction from the instructor. English instructors should encourage the students to learn by themselves outside the lecture.

The study has been done on a group of women who had joined in some of body fitness centers in the city center of Basra governorate who are( 132 ) women.
The researcher has designed and codifies the measurement of the personal health on (70) participants and the measurement has been implemented on (50) participants and the research sample has been distributed on six levels the bigger ratio has been concentrated on very good and moderate levels.
The measurement has been on trusted dealing as follows where had verified on the trust of outer standard the value is ( 0.40 ) and the trust of the interior standard ( 0.39) but the standards of the stability so it reached (0.87) .

Therefore, the researcher has reached the following conclusions:
1- The highest percentage of research sample was (63.33%) in the test of the speed of performing the layup shot in the medium level which indicates that the sample is identical to a high percentage.
2- The highest percentage of research sample was (46.66%) in the test of the endurance of performing the layup shot in the medium level which indicates that the sample is different due to the nature and the level of the training situation of the individuals of the research sample.
Based on the above the researcher recommends the following:
1- The researcher recommends using the two tests designed to evaluate the speed and endurance of the performance of the layup shot in basketball on youth level.
2- Codifying those two tests on other groups and finding standardized degrees and levels for them.
3- The researcher recommends preparing curricula in which the above two qualities constitute a proportion that fits the importance of them both in the basketball match.

This research aims to study some auxiliary means (Message, Oxygen inhalation, calm exercises ) to accelerate in curing aiming to identify any mean of the subject tools are most quick in curing at the marathon runners. The researcher premised that auxiliary means used by the researcher have positive effect in recovery the health of marathon runners ad identified the community of the research who are the runners of Basrah for long distances and maratho their number is totaled 11 electing them intentionally constraining by those participated in the champion of Iraq. 1- The effect of using detection programs fluency and kinetic Games exploratory and studied physical education in the traditional development of some basic motor skills and cognitive abilities (kinetic sense) to the children of the three research groups.

The proposed programme has been applied to the experimental group whereas the formal or conventional programme has been applied to the control one . The test's results hav been analyzed and some appropriate statistical techniques have been followed to arrive at the statistically significant differences with reference to the pre-tests and post-tests that measured , the changed are measured in the two groups and it is found that there is a difference which has a countable significant for the sake of the experimental group .
According to the final results the researcher recommended to generalize the suggested programme on the primary schools for it's great positive effect , and making similar studies on changeable sample
