An investigation was carried out to examine the conduction mechanism in poly-phenylene sulfide doped with Ferric Chloride [PPSFC] Films of (674m) thickness. The electrical properties were measured for aluminum / polymer / aluminum structure over temperature range (20-70 0C) .The mechanism conduction at low field region is hoping mechanism, while at the high fields Schottky effect mechanism was observed. The activation energy was estimated to be (0.35eV).

For Nickel ( II ) complexes of Ni ( RCSCHCOR′ )2 type, in which R=CH3 , ph ; R = CH3 , ph , C6 H4 – CH3 ( P ) , C6 H4 – Br ( P ) , Lewis acid – base interaction has been studied for these metal complexes as acceptors with pyridine as donor . All the reactions were found as 1 : 1 interactions. Equilibrium constants for these reactions in various solvents have been determined spectroscopically in the visible region. These values were within the range 7.33 – 18.0 L.mol-1.

A shiff- base of aminophthalocynine with benzaldehyde and p-methyl benzaldehyde were prepared and characterized spectroscopecally. Their electrical properties were also studied. The study shows that the conductivities of the shiff- bases are less then that of aminophthalocynines.

The adatom’s effective charges and chemisorption energies are calculated and investigated as a function of distance and surface temperature within the framework of previous papers [8,1], in which analytical formula were developed for the effective charges and chemisorption energy where the repulsion of the two electrons of opposite spins in the adatom was taken into account by means of the correlation energy.All the chemisorption functions (are considered as input data to calculate the effective charges and energies) are calculated and discussed. While the binding energies are calculated and showing a good agreement as it is compared with the experimental data

Biometrical characters have been measured on the scutum and tergum of the cosmopolitan Cirripedia: Balanus amphitrite amphitrite Darwin, collections from two positions; Garmat-Ali River and Al-Fao site. These values attempt to define the shape of these valves. The measurements show that there is more or less a gradual change in the operculum shape; and this change may be related to the change in salinity of the two different environments.

The present study is concerned with the biochemical composition: proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, ash, moisture and energy content, of the main parts of males and females of the commercial shrimp Metapenaeus affinis (H. Milne-Edwards).The shrimp was characterized by high constituent in protein specially in the flesh (the soft tissue). The percentages of proteins, lipids, carbohydrate, ash, moisture and the value of energy content were 14.356 %, 2.088 %, 8.9035 %, 5.64 %, 69.0116 and 137.350 (cal/gDW) . The analysis showed differences in the contents of the main parts of the body, for both sexes.

The oxidation of luminol by hypochlorite to generate chemiluminescence (CL) has beenstudied by using a multipurpose photon counting system. The processes of light production ,which invovle the reactive oxygen species (ROS), are discussed in terms of the NaOCl-Luminolreaction .The addition of radical scavengers such as ascorbic acid and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) leadto decreases in the peak of CL reaction of both system NaOCl-Luminol and FeSO4 – Luminolrespectively, while the addition of persulfate lead to increase in the peak of CL. The resultssuggest that ROS radicals might be constant factors in CL reaction of NaOCl-Luminol system

The study is conducted at Meissan Company for table eggs production. The aim was to investigate the effect of age and oviposition time on egg quality About 17000 ISA-Brown pullet at the age of 22 weeks are used in the study. Eggs sampling is done during the morning and afternoon at different ages (22-38) weeks.The results revealed the following:1- Age showes highly significant (p<0.01) effect on egg shape, egg weight and its components, percent components, shell thickness, total calcium, magnesium and phosphorus in the shell, and cholesterol content in the egg. On the other hand, age showes no significant effect on total shell ash, quantities of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus per a gram shell, and blood as well as meat spots in eggs.2- Oviposition time showes highly significant (p<0.01) effect all of the egg quality traits mentioned above except the quantity of calcium per a gram shell.

A total of 114 confirmed cases of visceral leishmaniasis which is diagnosed by bone marrow aspiration at Basrah and Thi-Qar children hospitals were described, most of them are less than two years old. The majority of the patients suffered from leukopenia (97%) with increase in lymphocyte and monocyte numbers. Common biochemical features of the patients bloods show an increase in bilirubin. Liver enzymes (ALT and ATS) increasing in severity cases.

This paper presents a methodolgy for computational modeling of the indirect field-oriented ( IFO) induction motor drive system. The numerical model of the squirrel-cage, three-phase induction motor is represented as a system of differential equations. In order to study the performance of the system a simulation program was implemented using Matlab/Simulink software package. The induction motor is supplied by a space vector Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) inverter which is implemented also by the same simulation program. The dynamic curves of the motor phase current, voltage, speed and electromagnetic torque during starting and steady-state conditions are ploted. The step change loading effects on the stationary reference frame stator current components, synchronous rotating frame stator current components, electromagnetic torque and stationary reference frame rotor flux components are observed.
