The study aimed to identify the factors affecting the distribution of police personnel in Gaza Governorate police stations and central departments, and their relationship to some variables, and to achieve this, the researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach by applying a questionnaire consisting of: (security, political, geographical, demographic, social, cultural, and economic factors) And administrative factors) on a sample of (122) high-ranking officers (major and above), who were chosen in a stratified randomized manner. The results showed that all factors affecting the process of distributing police personnel affect in large and close degrees, the highest in the estimate is in the field (geographical and demographic factors), and the lowest is in the field (security factors), and that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members ’assessment of the influencing factors attributable to Variables: (rank, years of service), while significant differences were found in economic factors attributable to age in favor of (36-45 years), and in political factors depending on the job title variable in favor of the category (center manager). The study recommended the necessity for the Ministry of Interior to study all factors affecting the distribution of police personnel when preparing for any future structure or even when recruiting and appointing new individuals.
