SYNTHESIS AND EVOLUTION OF SULFAMETHOXAZOLE DERIVATIVE AND ASSAY ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

Condensation of Sulfamethoxazole with 3,4-dihydroxy benzaldehyde yielded Schiff
base derivative in good yield. Characterization of synthesized compound detected by Infrared
(IR) and 1HNMR spectroscopy via nuclear magnetic resonance 600 MHz. The
synthesized compound was screened for antibacterial activity against gram positive and
gram negative bacteria. A new compound exhibited potent antibacterial activity against
Klebsiella pneumonia compared to Vancomycin drug, which showed no activity against this
bacterium. The synthesized compound exhibited moderate activity against Escherichia coli
and Staphylococcus aurous.

Abstract

The ewes are one of the most important ruminants in Iraq due to their great economic
value. This study highlighted visible microscopic lesions on the female reproductive system of
ewes reflect the likelihood of developing tumors that cause significant economic losses. Samples
were collected from Basrah abattoir in southern Iraq, from the beginning of September 2019 to
the end of December 2019. Samples of 60 suspected abnormal masses were obtained, that
showed various microscopic lesions in the female reproductive system of ewes. The microscopic
tumors were divided into two positive groups of 36 cases out of 60 suspected abnormal masses:
Ovarian tumors 12 cases (20%), and uterine tumors 24 cases (40%). The current study confirms
that the tumors of the female reproductive system of the benign type in the uterus only, while in
the ovary tumors are benign and malignant types. The tumors of the female reproductive system
of ewes are among the most complex health problems facing these animals.

Abstract

The pandemic of COVID-19 is caused by the discovered strain of coronavirus,
a type of virus known to cause human respiratory infections. This new strain was unknown
before December 2019, when an outbreak of unidentified pneumonia occurred
in Wuhan (China).As they are considered a vector for infection, the numerous fatal
infections with the coronavirus have drawn attention to animals. Abundant attempts
have been done to find the most effective cure with less toxicity and harmful effect to
the human body, Furthermore the treatment results sometimes in a fatal medical toxicity
that killed many people.

المؤثر ضد فايروس كورونا والذي يكون اقل سمية وخطرا على جسم الانسان حيث انه لازالت الاخطاء الطبية
القاتلة احد الاسباب التي اودت بحياة الكثير من البشر.

Abstract

The animals model of pneumonia assist us to observe the distinct types of pneumonia in a variety
disease stages, when the study that aren’t possible in patients, especially the respiratory
infections constitute a major problem, besides to breeders than for veterinarians, because of a
majority in economic losses that causes, and the expense of caring and prevention. The lung is
the most exposed organs to various aggression agents as a result to their anatomical and
histological properties; therefore, the deterioration of the hygienic conditions is the important
factor that promote respiratory diseases, particularly when the lower parts of respiratory system
inflammation were amongst the leading etiology of mortality and morbidity globally.

Abstract

The alveoli regards as a specialized region of the distal parts of the lung, in conductive
morphology to an efficient gas exchange. There were two types of epithelial cells that lined the
alveoli. Type I pneumocyte (T1Pn) cells exhibited a broad, more flattened morphology and
covered near 95% of the surface areas, while the cuboidal alveolar type II pneumocyte (T2Pn)
lined the remainders of the alveolus. T1Pn cells provided gaseous exchanges interfaced with the
endothelium, while T2Pn cells served as both progenitor of T1Pn cells and played an important
role to maintain the homeostasis of the alveoli, also T2Pn secrete a surfactant proteins by
specialized organelles inside it called lamellar bodies to the alveolar spaces, in order to maintains
surface tensions and prevent alveolar collapses.

تعتبر الحويصلات الهوائية منطقة متخصصة من الأجزاء القاصية من الرئة، وهي مسؤوله عن التبادل الغازي وبكفاءة
لذلك هناك نوعان من الخلايا الظهارية التي تبطن الحويصلات الهوائية وهي الخلايا الرئوية نوع ١ والنوع ٢، ان الخلايا الرئوية من النوع الأول شكلا رقيقا واكثر تسطحا حيث تغطي ما يقارب ٩٥ % من كل المساحة السطحية للحويصلات الهوائية،
في حين ان الخلايا الرئوية من النوع الثاني تظهر بشكل مكعب وتصطف في ٥% من ما تبقى من مساحة الحويصلات
الهوائية، كذلك تلعب هذا النوع من الخلايا (النوع الثاني) دورا مهما في الحفاظ على التوازن الحيوي في الحويصلات الهوائية

Abstract

Nephrolithiasis and acute kidney injury outbreaks in pet animals During 2007-
2008, animals and humans from many nations were Linked with melamine and
cyanuric acid toxicity. Melamine and cyanuric acid since then, The pathogenic
process includes melamine and melamine precipitation, and Cyanuric acid forms
crystals in the distal renal tubules, which, in turn, Inflicting kidney damage. Melamine
and co-exposure Also, cyanuric acid has been reported to worsen renal toxicity.
Alone, with melamine or cyanuric acid. Besides nephrotoxicity, Recent animal
experiments have shown the potential for endocrine and neurotoxic impact.
Melamine. pet-food and human-food safety accidents occurred worldwide causing
infants, cats, dogs, and pigs to suffer diseases and deaths. Veterinary testing
laboratories helped classify melamine and melamine analogs as pollutants in affected
foods in dogs and cats.

حدث وباء ادى لاصابة العديد من البشر والحيوانات في حصى المجاري البولية واذى الكلية الحاد
خلال عام ٢٠٠٧ و ٢٠٠٨ .بسبب الميلامين وحامض السيانويوريك عام ٢٠٠٧ و ٢٠٠٨ في واظهرت الدراسات
ان الميلامين والسيانويوريك منذ ذلك الحين بانها السبب في ترسب اشكال بلورية في في الانابيب الكلوية القاصية والتي ادت الى تحطيم الكلي . فيما بعد تبين ان الميلامين لوحده او مع وحامض السيانويوريك بانه
السبب في السمية الكلوية، بجانب السمية الكلوية سجل في الحيوانات المختبرية حالات من الاصابة بامراض
الغدد الصم فضلا عن السمية العصبية . وجود الميلامين في اغذية البشر وطعام الكلاب والقطط و الخنازير في
كل انحاء العالم ادى الى حالات موت عديدة في هذه الحيوانات وخاصة الرضع منها. الفحوصات المختبرية
البيطرية ساهمت في تصنيف الميلامين ونظائره كملوث غذائي للكلاب والقطط.
