This research is concerned with studying "The Composite Image in Contemporary Iraqi Theater." The researcher outlined the research paths in four chapters. The first chapter includes the methodological framework, encompassing the research problem and the need for it. It also includes the importance, objectives, boundaries, and definitions of terms: (image, composite image). The second chapter comprises the theoretical framework, divided into two sections, in addition to previous studies. The first section discusses the image in adjacent structures, while the second section examines the composite image in the space of global theater. Following that are previous studies and theoretical framework indicators.
In the third chapter, "Research Procedures," the researcher discusses the research community, research sample, research methodology, research tool, and sample analysis. The fourth chapter presents the research results and their discussion, including: (The composite image in the performance achieved immediate temporal and spatial implications, which eliminates the need for complex physical elements in stage decor). Based on the set of results, the researcher reached several conclusions, including: (Relying on the composite image in contemporary Iraqi theater performances is a beneficial and effective method as it helps create a compelling goal in attracting the audience, which is the aim of all those working in the theater field).
Finally, the research includes recommendations, suggestions, a list of sources and references, and appendices.

The research entitled (Narrative Techniques and Aesthetic Philosophy in Travel Literature in Bassem Furat as a Model), in which the researcher discusses the prominent narrative techniques of the Iraqi writer Bassem Furat, in which many characteristics and circumstances came together.
In order for the research field to be limited in aspects and tightly controlled, the researcher restricted his study to a prominent author in modern narrative literature, which is to search for the most prominent narrative techniques and modern narration methods used by the writer.
We discussed it in detail, and we reinforced it by quoting text and mentioning evidence from Bassem Furat’s narratives. Bassem Furat contributed to conveying the attractive image and distinct scenes of many of the countries to which he traveled, especially conveying to us their nature and living conditions. He also shed light on the history and civilization of those countries, their ideas, customs and traditions. This research aims to reveal the narrative techniques in Bassem Furat’s travels, to evaluate the availability of the components of narrative discourse in them, and to achieve the success of his method of narrating travel discourse.
To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the structural approach, together with the descriptive approach. At the conclusion of the research, my study reached several results, the most important of which was: The trips studied included many narrative techniques, and that the researcher mastered the method of narrating the basic components of the trips. He used open and closed spaces for the course of events, and when he narrated the time of these events, he used the technique of anticipation and retrieval. In terms of time duration, travelers tend to summarize and delete to speed up events and avoid secondary events that are useless in the narrative context. Then, they use the descriptive pause and the dialogue scene to disrupt the events and give the characters a great opportunity to present their emotions and feelings without the narrator’s intervention, which makes creating a temporal space (narrative and narrative).

The research seeks to know the reality of the geographical distribution of patterns of rural settlements in Al-Daraji district and the impact of the distribution pattern on the development of services there, which the research identified as (20) rural settlements through the use of statistical methods and field study. English for specific purpose learners (ESP Learners) may face certain challenges in language use, specifically during the writing process. Writing is a complicated productive skill that requires not only great linguistic repertoire but also a mastery in utilizing it. This qualitative descriptive study delves into the realm of English grammar. It aims to explore and analyze grammatical errors in tertiary-level students’ writing, especially in composition writing assignments. This study adopted Corder’s 1986 consecutive steps of Error Analysis approach to analyze Iraqi tertiary students’ grammatical errors. The sampling was 40 sophomores at the University of Information Technology and Communication (UITC), Baghdad, Iraq. The findings showed that the wrong use of prepositions ranked first among other errors. It also showed that some teaching and pedagogical suggestions may be taken into account.

The study sample consisted of (400) male and female students who were selected by a stratified random method with equal distribution. In order to measure the collective guilt of the students, the researcher built a collective guilt scale, which consisted of (9) items. This scale was characterized by validity and reliability. The researcher concluded that the research sample feels collective guilt because of the previous violations to which members of minorities were exposed in the city of Mosul. This paper tackles The Dumb Waiter written by the playwright Harold Pinter in 1957. The play is about two men “Ben and Gus” who are waiting for an order from their unknown boss, in a basement room in a hotel. The mysterious order is confirmed through a dumb waiter, moreover the plot turns to be a catalyst for tension, and consequently the characters’ existential uncertainties and strained interactions portray intuitively the absurd waiting for the nothingness. This study examines, through Jonathan Culpeper’s (1996) im/politeness theory and Mick Short’s (1996) list of powerful and powerless speech style, the linguistic interactions between the two characters, Ben and Gus. With the help of the determinism, this study aims to expose the notion of absurdity or waiting for the nothingness in the play through disparity in power of speech of the two main characters. Therefore, the main point of this study is to clarify the question of the deterministic reasons of the absurd ending of the play The Dumb Waiter through the above mentioned theories. Thus, this paper will provide a realistic understanding of the linguistic interactions of the two characters in order to simulate and trace the realistic mirrors of the absurd theatre

This study handles, from the descriptive perspective, one of the main issues correlates syntax to meaning, which is the notion of semantically- structural Equivalence in Ancient Arabic Grammar. The study is devoted to tackle the notion and term of equivalence in the ancient Arab grammarian sights, throughout reviewing the different structural types that indicate similar meaning into their grammatical works.
The study demonstrates that the notion of semantically- structural Equivalence was clearly understood by Old Arab grammarians, despite they used various terms to refer to the same notion. It reveals also that the old Arab grammarians applied the notion via analyzing different structural types, such as predicative constructions, non-predicative constructions and predicative phrases. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the influence of context on identifying equivalent sentences and the necessity of making benefit from modern syntactic insights, mainly functional grammar theory, to verify the current study issue.

The study concluded by explaining the role of wind in the spread of air pollutants in the city of Samawa2023 , and clarifying the spatial relationships of solid air pollutants within the study area, through statistical analysis of three types of solid air pollutants, namely total and fine suspended particles (PM2.5, PM10, TSP), Generated by human activity and its relationship with wind speed for the winter season (December) and the summer season (June) on the one hand, and its health effects on the other hand. The statistical methods adopted were represented by the simple Pearson correlation coefficient, as the study concluded that wind speed is an influential factor in the dispersion and spread of Suspended particles. Statistical methods showed that there is a strong and direct relationship for fine particles (PM2.5) in the winter and summer. As for suspended particles (PM10), they are linked to wind speed with a positive and moderate relationship in both the summer and winter seasons, while there is a strong and inverse relationship. He sought a linguistic and rhetorical approach to the title, linking it to the structure and subtitles of the narrative discourse, revealing its symbolic and semantic dimensions, its suggestive and enticing functions, and the extent to which the title contributed to interpretive trajectories at the level of language, beyond language in one way, and to the structure of narrative discourse in another. He pointed to the writer's ability to choose the title (The White Jaid), which semiotically identifies with the structure of narrative discourse, and the movement of the main character, and the study also revealed that the title is a semiotic sign that contains, assimilates, and reproduces the system of human values. The research concluded that semiotics, as a system based on language, and beyond language, can view the title as a revealing structure of the aesthetics and cognitive, cultural, historical and social trends of the novel (The White Jaid).
