Abstract
Light pollution is one of the sources of pollution in the modern era, as modern technology has contributed to a qualitative breakthrough in the production of different types of lighting with multiple lighting capabilities used in multiple areas of life. The lack of optimal use of these lighting in accordance with healthy lighting standards has resulted in variation in the type of pollution and Severity in both the city of Nasiriyah and the city of Shatrah in Dhi Qar Governorate. This pollution was clearly evident in residential neighborhoods whose residents were characterized by having high incomes. In addition, the excessive use of lighting, the lack of health and environmental awareness, and weak supervision contributed to the entry of various types of artificial light sources on the one hand. On the other hand, weak lighting or its absence in some vital commercial streets would be considered light pollution due to insufficient light, which would cause distortion of the urban landscape of the city at night. In addition, this lack of light would cause pedestrians to be run over and run over. Car accidents, which result in economic waste and environmental pollution due to the lack of appropriate lighting.

Abstract
يعد التلوث الضوئي احد مصادر التلوث في العصر الحديث اذ ساهمت التكنلوجيا الحديثة بأحداث طفره نوعيه في انتاج انواع مختلفة من الاضاءات و بقدرات ضوئية متعددة تستخدم في مجالات متعددة من الحياة ، و عدم الاستخدام الامثل لهذه الاضاءات وفق المعايير الضوئية الصحية نتج عنه تباين في نوع التلوث و شدة في كل من مدينة الناصرية و مدينة الشطرة في محافظة ذي قار . و برز هذا التلوث بصورة جليه في الاحياء السكنية التي اتسم سكانها بأنهم من ذو الدخل المرتفع ، فضلاً عن ذلك ان الاستخدام المفرط في الاضاءة و عدم وجود التوعية الصحية و البيئية و ضعف الرقابة ساهم بدخول انواع مختلفة من مصادر الضوء المصطنع هذا من جانب . و من جانب اخر ان ضعف الاضاءة او انعدامها في بعض الشوارع التجارية الحيوية من شأنه ان يعد تلوث ضوئي لعدم كفاية الضوء مما يتسبب عنه في تشوه المنظر الحضري للمدينة ليلاً ، فضلاً عن ذلك أن هذا الانعدام الضوئي من شانه ان يتسبب في حدوث حالات دهس للمارة و حوادث سيارات مما يترتب عليه هدر في الجوانب الاقتصادية و حدوث تلوث بيئي لعدم توفر الإضاءة المناسبة .
