Abstract

This research deals with the study of the views of some Italian orientalists on the issue of succession after death of the Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace), as they indicated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him and his family) left the matter of the Islamic nation after his death in vain without recommending or appointing As his successor to lead the emerging Islamic nation and complete his great path, relying on that opinion on the sources of some of the early Muslims and leaving others who proved that there were many evidences that existed during the days of the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him and his family) that he singled out Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) with this big and dangerous issue, which cannot be tolerated or left in the wind.

Abstract

يتناول هذا البحث دراسة وجهات نظر بعض المستشرقين الإيطاليين لمسألة الخلافة بعد وفاة النبي محمد (صلى الله عليه واله وسلم)، إذ أشاروا إلى ان النبي محمد (صلى الله عليه واله وسلم) ترك امر الأمة الإسلامية بعد وفاته سُدى دون ان يوصي أو يعين خلفا بعده لقيادة الأمة الإسلامية الناشئة وإكمال مسيرته العظيمة، مستندين بذلك الرأي على مصادر بعض المسلمين الأوليين وتاركين البعض الأخر الذين اثبتوا ان هناك دلائل كثيرة كانت موجودة على أيام النبي محمد (صلى الله عليه واله وسلم) بأنه قد خص الأمام علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام) بتلك المسألة الكبيرة والخطيرة، والتي لا تتحمل التهاون معها أو تركها في مهب الرياح.
