This study divulges the connection between the living and the dead individuals. Although the dead separated from the world of the living, they were unconsciously linked and remembered by some of the living people. The personal grief is the calamity that generates an expressive consequence to interrupt the person’s appropriate choice of the surrounding objects. Adrienne Kennedy, in She Talks to Beethoven, examines the furtive motives that dominate and govern the individual’s thinking and behaviour throughout a certain critical state of mind.

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى بيان مكانة الشاعر محمد الثبيتي في قصيدة (سيِّد البِيْد) للشاعر علي النحوي، التي جاءت في ديوان (أُنْثَى النـَّرْد)؛ إذ تُمثّل هذه القصيدة إيمانًا لدى الشاعر علي النحوي بمكانة الشاعر محمد الثبيتي العالية في الشعر، واعترافًا بقيمته الفنية؛ لذا جاءت هذه الدراسة لتستكشف هذه القصيدة من خلال العنوان، وبنية القصيدة، والدلالات العميقة، والتقاطعات النصّية. وتكتسب الدراسة أهميتها في تناولها لنّصٍ يُبرز أثر الشاعر محمد الثبيتي، الذي يعدّ أبرز شعراء العربية السعودية حتى بعد وفاته، لما له من تأثير تنويري على شعراء جيله ومن بعدهم من الشعراء. وهو مولود عام 1952م، ويُعدُّ من رواد شعر التفعيلة الذين جددوا في الشعر السعودي واحتملوا نتائج نزعتهم التنويرية. وقد نال عددًا من الجوائز، منها: جائزة أفضل قصيدة في الدورة السابعة لمؤسسة جائزة عبد العزيز البابطين للإبداع الشعري، عام 2000م، عن قصيدة (موقف الرمال.. موقف الجناس)، وجائزة ولقب (شاعر عكاظ)، عام 2007م، وقد تعرض الثبيتي لأزمة قلبية، وذلك بعد عودته من رحلة ثقافية إلى اليمن عانى من آثارها، إلى أن تُوفي -رحمه الله- في يوم الجمعة 14 يناير 2011م. وللشاعر الثبيتي دواوين شعرية عدة، وقد أصدر النادي الأدبي في حائل أعمال الثبيتيّ الشعرية الكاملة في مجلد واحد.
The present study aims at showing the position of the poet Mohammed Althubaiti as described in Ali Alnahawi's poem titled "The Desert Maser '' which appeared in The Female of the Dice collection. This poem represents Alnahwi’s belief in the distinctive position of Muhammad Al Thubaiti in poetry and in recognition of his artistic status. Accordingly, this study came to explore this poem, focusing on its title, structure, as well as the deep connotations and textual intersections prevailing in it. The study gains importance in dealing with a text that highlights the impact of the poet Muhammad Al-Thubaiti, who is considered the most prominent poets of Saudi Arabia even after his death, Because of his enlightening influence on the poets of his generation and those after them.He was born in 1952 in the city of Taif. He is considered one of the pioneers of activating poetry, and has won a number of awards, including: the award for the best poem in the seventh session of the Foundation of the Abdul Aziz Saud Al-Babtain Prize for Poetic Creativity, in 2000, for the poem (The Position of the Sand.. The Position of Alliteration), and the award and title (Okaz Poet), In 2007, Al-Thubaiti suffered a heart attack, after returning from a cultural trip to Yemen, which he suffered from its effects for a long time, until he died - may God have mercy on him - on Friday, January 14, 2011. The al-Thubaiti poet has several collections of poetry, and the Literary Club in Hail has published the complete al-Thubaiti poetic works in one volume.
The study concluded by revealing a text that expresses admiration for the personality of Mohammed Althubaiti. Remarkably, Ali Alnahawi goes beyond the usual and the familiar for praise poems by recognizing Mohammed Althubaiti's uniqueness in the field of poetry which brings him out of the world of the merely great poets to the world of the legendary characters. Outstandingly, Ali al-Nahwi bestows on al-Thabiti qualities of a miraculous and legendary dimension, which is manifested in his belonging to the wind that gives him dominion over the hand, which makes the text place the recipient in front of a character who tends to legend.

The present research is devoted to the post-WWI social and cultural milieu that made possible the intellectual and artistic effervescence characterizing the literary production of the American ex-pat writers in Paris during the 1920s and 1930s. The research is structured in an Introduction, four chapters, and Conclusion. After a necessary general presentation, the researcher goes deeper into the analysis of the identity crisis experienced by several American writers in exile, whom Gertrude Stein, herself an ex-pat, called “the Lost Generation” – among them, Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Dos Passos, Sinclair Lewis, and Samuel Putnam. Starting from the assumption that by discovering Europe, the American writers discovered themselves, the researcher chose Hemingway to represent the post-WWI generation of American ex-pats and followed the writer’s search for identity, seen as a process of singularization based on recognizing that we share a common origin or circumstances with another person or community. Ample space is devoted to Hemingway’s novel The Sun Also Rises, where a feeling of uselessness and nonsense accompanies the characters. Having (re)discovered their identity in Paris, many returned to their native America, rediscovering her as more disappointing than expected.

During the rule of the Ayyubid and Mamluk states, a number of functions of financial management emerged in Damascus, such as al Hasaba - and agency of the treasury house - wikalat bayt al-mal- , in addition to the function of the overseer – al-nazar-, It was distinguished by a feature that was demonstrated by the historical sources that spoke about the history of the Islamic administrative system, namely the feature of inheriting these functions among some of the scholars of the famous families, the prevalence of this phenomenon reflected a set of historical facts about the features of the administrative system in Damascus, including that the family has an important role in supporting the administrative life, and that the ruling authority agreed to the continuation of this phenomenon - inheriting jobs - among those scientific families because they are confident that the correct tool for evaluating the administrative apparatus in the country He is the scholar who is the son of these ancient families, in other words, the long history that the family owned was a reason for the authority to choose its scholars to take over the functions of financial management at the time.

Language has a significant contribution to the exchange of knowledge. Scholars examine different uses of language to find out its effect and role in several domains of society such as media, criticisms, politics, and related fields. Discourse analysis is connected with the use of both spoken and written language. It supports analyzing how users say things, their effect on the audience, and how it influences society, or the way society affects communication. This mixed-mode research aims to provide a systemic analysis on how oppressed masses use signs and symbols through different social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and Instagram to encourage teachers to protest and achieve parents’ support to prevent their children from going to schools, in a Jordanian context. The sample of the study consisted of 189-selected posters/signs and symbols using a convenient sampling technique. The selected Arabic posters were translated into the English language. The researcher used the analytical instrument adopted from Van Dijk's (2005) framework of political discourse analysis. The corpus was analyzed contextually. The findings of the study showed that in the reaction to meeting demeaning and dismissive discourses, schoolteachers reacted as inheritors of cultural legacies, meaningful resources, context specialists, professionals, and moral authority figures. In addition, the results indicated a strong link between political discourse analysis and the use of sign language that reflects the social practices of protesters and oppressed masses. To conclude, this study is an add-value to both local and body of knowledge locally, regionally, and internationally concerning theory and practice in which previous experience shows every possible influence to preserve public sustenance, show criticism, and express demands as teachers’ signs and symbols in different provinces in Jordan worked effectively in a civilized manner.

This research attempts to reveal the extent of the appearance of heritage and its invocation in the poetry of Tamim al-Barghouti, whether this presence is historical, civil, national or religious, through some of his famous poems (In Jerusalem). In this poem, al-Barghouti employs heritage in a creative and significant way. The aim of this research is to show the significance of evoking heritage in al-Barghouti's poetry. The poet chose heritage to convey specific meanings to the recipients, and to express his own thoughts and feelings about Jerusalem. There is no doubt that the cultural and civilized means of defending rights have an important and effective role in combating colonial settlement, and in establishing the national rights of any nation. Islamic and Christian religious fraternity in Palestine represents a lofty state of civilization, and an important national force in resisting the colonial settlement and fighting its attempts to obliterate the cultural and civilizational identity of the Palestinian people.

Generosity and hospitality are inherent characteristics of Arabs’ Heritage books are full of stories that reflect these traits. Islam came to recognize this value in the lives of Muslims and with the beginnings of the formation of the Islamic state in Medina And the increase of delegations coming to prophet after the year of the conquest, so the Prophet، may God’s prayers and peace be upon him، took the house of Ramla bint Al-Harith as a house for the guests. The Rightly Guided Caliphs followed the path of the Prophe, may God bless him and grant him peace، in providing official hospitality to delegations. They also created houses for hospitality and care for the poor and strangers، and this is what Omar Ibn Al-Khattab and Othman Bin-Afghan did. It was continued - despite the lack of reference- in the Umayyad era and most of the Abbasid era. In the middle of the sixth century AH، the twelfth century AD، the name of guest houses reappeared again، especially during the era of Caliph Al-Nasir Li-Din Allah Abbasid (died 622 AH / 1255 AD) and the caliphs who came after him until the end of the Abbasid state. As guest houses became legalized and organized، some of them were designated for eftar Ramadan for the poor. Others are designated for the pilgrims arriving in Baghdad during the pilgrimage season. The potential effectiveness of various kinds of written corrective feedback (CF) has been the focus of CF investigations that did not reach firm conclusions about which methods of correction can more successfully facilitate students’ grammatical development. A good majority of the studies investigated an unfocused approach to CF while a focused approach has received far less attention. In line with this argument, the current study employed a pre-test, immediate post-test and delayed post-test design and set out to investigate the potential efficacy of unfocused and focused written CF in L2 accuracy development. The study incorporated 86 EFL students allocated to one control group and two experimental groups. Students in the focused group were corrected on irregular and regular past tense, while students in the unfocused group were corrected on a greater range of grammatical categories including irregular and regular past tense as well and learners in the control group received no written CF. Results of two-way repeated measures ANOVA and a set of ANOVAs with post-hoc evaluations revealed that in the short-term duration both treatment groups increased their accuracy but the efficacy of the focused CF found to be resilient.

The aim of the current research is to identify the relationship between self-destruction and psychological disorders and the significance of the differences in the relationship between self-destruction and psychological disorders among students of Al-Mustansiriya University, where self-destruction was defined as a type of self-harm that occurs as a result of psychological trauma, family problems or economic obstacles, and these problems penetrate into the lives of individuals within the community His ability to comprehend the intense thoughts and feelings that it contains, and may be the cause of the death of a close person, physical and psychological torture, abusive relationships, and exposure to repeated abuse are among the reasons through which the adolescent individual resorts to feeling the desire to harm oneself, which accompanies self-destruction, while psychological disorders are known as A behavioral or psychological pattern or syndrome with clinical significance associated with painful symptoms or shortcomings in one or more important areas of life. To achieve the objectives of the current research, two scales were adopted, the first to identify self-destruction and the second for mental disorders. The research sample consisted of (200) male and female students. The current research has concluded that there is a statistically significant correlation between self-destruction and mental disorders, but there are no differences in the relationship according to gender and specialization. The current research has reached a number of proposals and recommendations.

This paper aims at investigating dramatic monologue in Frank Bidart’s poems. It discusses the way Bidart was affected by certain poets in terms of the implication of the dramatic monologue device and the power that affected his implementation and his application of this particular genre. Bidart proposes that a poet has a lot of inner consciousness. He receives various voices so he can visualize how to begin from varied places and keep a certain distance from the voice that expresses out of its sense, agony, or annoyance. Bidart has to examine the reasons for definite feelings at a particular point in time because one’s emotional state should not be considered for granted. However, a poet should keep some distance from the characters in the poem as well as keep a sort of skepticism concerning oneself. This study suggests that Bidart’s dramatic monologue is a contemporary genre that is significantly established at the last stage of his script with the release of his poetic work “Half Light”. The study analyzed two poems of Bidart’s work including Old and Young, and Thirst. Results of the study showed that Bidart’s poetic forms and themes relate to many issues including the point of time in which the poet published his poems, the setting and situations, and the poet’s psychological state of mind.

This study aimed to identify the level of social compliance with the instructions of the health authorities in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic from the viewpoint of faculty members at the university of Duhok, and the significance of the differences in that according to the variables: Age, Gender, Specialization. The study relied on the descriptive survey method. The research population consist of (1003) male and female teachers, distributed among (19) colleges affiliated to the university of Duhok, while the study sample consist of (403) male and female teachers, who were chosen by a random stratified sampling method. The Study depended on a questionnaire prepared for this purpose. After processing the data statistically using the statistical package for social science (SPSS) by using the (t-test) for one sample and two independent samples, one-way analysis of variance and (L.S.D) test . The results indicated that the level of social compliance from the viewpoint of the members of the sample was high, and it was found that there were no differences according to the variables of specialization, gender. While, there is a significant differences according to the variables of Age.

The concept of self-determination that affects students’ achievement is a tool for recognizing their strengths, and the role of cognitive methods as a person’s distinctive methods in favoring and activating information, and through those cognitive methods, we can predict, to a reasonable degree, the type of behavior that can be performed by individuals who differ in their methods. knowledge as they face different life situations. Accordingly, this research was applied to a sample of (400) male and female postgraduate students who were chosen by the stratified and proportional method. To achieve this, a scale was built to measure self-determination according to (Deci & Ryan, 1985), which in its final form consisted of (33) paragraphs. And another to measure the method of integrative synthesis (abstract - macroscopic) according to the theory (Harvey et al., 1967), which in its final form consisted of (22) paragraphs; Using the appropriate statistical methods, the results of the research indicated that graduate students are characterized by self-determination, and that there is a statistically significant difference in self-determination according to the gender variable in favor of males, and the same difference is in favor of doctoral students, and that graduate students prefer the method of integrative and abstract synthesis; There is a statistically significant difference in this method according to the variable of sex and in favor of males, with the presence of such a difference in favor of doctoral students, with the presence of a direct correlation between the two variables of the research amounted to (0.41), and the research concluded with some recommendations and suggestions.

The current study aims to explore the occupational preferences of people with hearing impairments at the University of Sharjah and applicants to study according to the Netherlands theory. The sample consisted of (18) male and female students, divided into (9) males and (9) females. The researcher used the Vocational Preference Inventory (VPI) tool. The study concluded that the occupational preferences of the sample members were arranged so that the traditional style and then the realistic style are the most preferred occupational styles for people with hearing disabilities in the current study, and the explorer style comes as the least preferred occupational style for people with hearing disabilities. they. There are also differences between occupational preferences according to the gender variable (males and females), as the realistic style is the most preferred occupational style among male sample members, followed by the traditional style, and the explorer style comes at the end of the hierarchy of occupational preferences for them, while the traditional style is the most preference. Female occupational style, followed by social and adventurous style, and pragmatic style come at the end of the hierarchy of female occupational preferences. By comparing the number of jobs chosen by him (male and female), it turns out that females lack awareness of available job opportunities and can get into them, in contrast to the opportunities that males can enter. However, the educational opportunities available to some extent correspond to the occupational preferences of females and do not correspond to the occupational preferences of males.

The research aim is to find out the extent to which the sociology book for the fifth grade of primary school includes moral values , and to achieve this, the researcher followed the descriptive method of analysis and the research tool was a questionnaire for moral values , relying on the phrase that expresses the idea, as the results showed that there is no balance in including moral values in Sociology book content. The researcher made a number of recommendations calling for training social teachers on how to convert content from words to educational situations.

The topic of studying the uses of agricultural land has taken the interest of many geographers recently, as it is included in the geographical analyzes that explain the nature of the agricultural process in the area to be studied, to reach the optimal investment of agricultural land according to the existing data, whether natural or human. Through the study of field crops in the study area, it was found that the economically feasible field crops are (wheat, barley, yellow corn, rice) distributed according to administrative units with great variation in terms of production and cultivated area.

The exploration of rock layers with economic mineralization by remote sensing is a very important tool at present. Multisensor satellite visual data is a quick and inexpensive tool for mapping areas of geomorphological change and rock units associated with economic deposits such as high calcium limestone, gypsum, mineral clays, and silicic sands, which is of great economic importance. Multiple sources of spectral data derived from different remote sensing devices can be used to obtain detailed maps of a variety of economic minerals that can be used in various construction industries such as cement, gypsum, bricks, thermostone blocks, and so on. In this research, Landsat-7, Landsat-8, and Sentinel-2 sensors were used to survey and prospect for lime, gypsum, dolomite, sand, rocks containing a high percentage of iron oxides and mineral clays in the two main geomorphological units of Al-Qadisiyah Governorate, namely the unit, The Mesopotamian plain and desert shelf unit that forms part of the southern Iraqi desert. To process satellite, remote sensing data sets, band ratio operations, Arithmetic average of the bands, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) techniques have been adopted and implemented to produce predictive mineral maps for a region. the study.
The spatial distribution of carbonate minerals (lime and gypsum), sands, and mineral clays was determined, while no discoveries of dolomite or iron oxides were found in the target area. Metal predictive maps were created for the study area according to the results obtained.
The results indicate that spectral data from multi-sensor remote sensing satellite datasets can be widely used to create remote sensing-based predictive maps for the exploration of exposure rocks, which contain important minerals for construction and other important economic industries in most regions around the world.

By presenting an overview of smart cities, their components, dimensions, and success factors for the shift to smart cities, this study investigates into a comprehensive review of the smart cities concept. Due to the diversity of the city's functions, the substantial overlap of numerous scientific disciplines related to the infrastructure components of smart cities, and the scope of the city's digital development, there is no single unanimously and universally accepted definition of smart cities. More than 75% of human activities in the smart city are related to geographical location, including the location of services, pathways, land uses and tracking, etc. .
Thus, the contribution of geospatial technologies to the development of smart cities and its different facets becomes apparent. By analyzing user data and spatially connecting them to digital maps, pinpointing maintenance locations, providing technical support, analyzing pollution sources in the city, developing spatial solutions to reduce traffic accidents by analyzing the frequency of accidents and their locations, and conserving city resources through rational consumption and management are all facilitated by geospatial technologies the active management of these resources.
Significantly enough, this study recommends working on preparing the current traditional cities by developing their digital infrastructure, developing the communication and information network within, equipping city facilities with sensors and cameras, and linking them spatially through the Internet of Things(IOT) to measure analyses and build fundamental indicators for the transition towards smart cities which has become a necessity and a strategic option to enable cities to encounter challenges in the future .

Despite the tireless efforts made by the concerned authorities in the UAE to reduce road accidents and reduce injuries, there are still alarming numbers of road accidents and the injuries they cause, leaving grave psychological, social, and economic effects. This study aimed to identify the impact of home quarantine during the Corona pandemic (Covid 19) on the number of injuries caused by traffic accidents in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. And also to identify the differences between the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the number of injuries caused by traffic accidents during the months of home quarantine in the year 2020 and the corresponding in the years 2015-2019. As well as the differences between the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the number of injuries caused by traffic accidents during the years (2015-2020). This study relied on the data issued by the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in the United Arab Emirates on accident injuries (simple - moderate severity - death) for the years 2015-2020 according to the months. This study showed a decrease in the number of injuries caused by road accidents during the period of home quarantine in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The Emirate of Abu Dhabi witnessed a higher number than the Emirate of Dubai in injuries caused by traffic accidents during the home quarantine period to combat the Corona Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi also witnessed an increase in the total number of injuries caused by traffic accidents during all the years since 2015 to 2020.

After the outbreak of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) in most countries of the world, and the imposition of home quarantine, some families lived in crisis, as a result of the isolation and loneliness imposed by governments. And the effects of the pandemic were different in the family, some of them suffered from many problems at all social, economic and psychological levels, and some of them were able to overcome these effects, and even invest the quarantine period in strengthening marital and family relationships, his relationship with his life partner. This study aimed to identify family relationships during the Corona pandemic period, and relied on the descriptive approach and used quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis. The size of the study sample was (300) families, who were selected using the snow sample method. Among the most important findings of the study, is that family relations were not negatively affected by the Corona pandemic, and there are no statistically significant differences for the demographic variables of gender, income and educational qualification on family relations, and the study recommended the responsible ministries to activate the role of family centers to strengthen and support marital relations.

The important role of micro and small enterprises is evident. These enterprises leave their marks on the economic scene due to their strategic importance in re-engineering the industrial, commercial and production sectors, achieving development and supporting the economy, as well as their role in empowering members of society, including the youth. Empowering youth and overcoming all obstacles to benefit from their energies and creativity represents a sustainable national vision for the United Arab Emirates. This study aimed to identify the views of the youth beneficiaries of these funds and institutions and their effectiveness. Accordingly, seven research questions were formulated to answer them. The study used the quantitative approach, where quantitative data was collected through the use of a questionnaire distributed to (503) young people benefiting from projects supported by institutions and funds. The study also revealed a number of challenges and problems facing young entrepreneurs and support institutions and funds. Finally, the study recommended a number of points that can contribute to raising the level of youth empowerment in UAE, including revising the current policies and establishing a comprehensive system for youth empowerment in which all parties in society participate, provided that this system includes facilitating procedures for establishing youth enterprises and enhancing youth skills of entrepreneurship and project management.

The current study seeks to achieve the main objective, which is the impact of social networking sites on the social relations of university youth at the University of Sharjah, from which emerged the sub-objectives: to reveal the motives of the youth of the University of Sharjah to social networking sites in their daily lives, and to determine the impact of social networking sites on the personality of university youth Sharjah and their behaviors, and the relations of the University of Sharjah youth with their families, friends and relatives. The study was applied to the youth of the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, in the academic year 2021-2022, for the second semester. The study relied on the sample social survey method, and the study sample amounted to (1823) individuals. The study found the following results: that the highest use and preference for social media platforms came in three platforms: Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, and that the number of hours university youth spend using social media platforms and sites is between (4 to 6 hours) per day. Social networking sites affect the personality and behavior of university youth through the contents of fashion and entertainment, and the impact of social networking sites on the relationship of university youth with their families, with quick anger when a family member interrupts them. The study recommends allocating smart places to support youth initiatives and encourage them to create different websites on the Internet and support them instead of entertainment and entertainment, and to establish electronic educational centers and platforms to adopt youth ideas, which work to build capacities and raise competencies and share them with the government work of the UAE to present such innovative ideas through Social networking sites via the Internet.

The purpose of this research is to determine how much institutional quality has contributed to the UAE's socioeconomic success. The descriptive-analytical methodology was used to handle the study's issue. The descriptive method was utilized to understand the concepts of institutional excellence and social development, as well as to establish their relationships and interdependence. The analysis methods was also employed to analyze the features of institutional excellence and their influence on social development by analyzing UAE tendencies.

The Dubai Quality Award was established in 1994 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, "may God protect him," to encourage the adoption of an excellence culture as a foundation for the growth of government activities. Following that, local excellence and quality programs were launched, culminating in the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program's establishment in 2009. The term institutional excellence refers to a level of administrative and organizational innovation that results in major achievements and successes that satisfy customers and work to promote social development in all of its aspects in the UAE.
The researchers recommended, based on the research data and findings, that the training plans and programs that have been implemented in government institutions in the UAE be reviewed to ensure their effectiveness and compatibility with the needs and requirements of government work and sustainable social development in the UAE.

The aim of this research is to identify the methods of anticipating family problems at the Sharjah Police Headquarters through an analytical study, clarifying the anticipating the future of family problems and the most important approaches followed in the anticipating process, and revealing ways to anticipating the future of family problems in the Sharjah Police Headquarters, and an explanation of the scenarios’ mechanism for the future of anticipating family problems in the Sharjah Police.
It has become clear to us through this research that early action to confront family problems is considered as investment for the future, and that anticipating of family problems at the Sharjah Police Headquarters depends on a number of mechanisms and processes that enable people and institutions to collect information in organized ways and from multiple sources, such as linking between a set of new development approved in several sectors, in order to focus in family problems from a holistic perspective to reduce the family problems.
The Sharjah Police Headquarters seeks with several scientific and security methods, to search for the causes of family problems, in order to work on solving them and establish the appropriate foundations to eliminate them in the right time. The researchers recommended the Sharjah Police Headquarters about the importance of continuing to provide preventive and curative programs for family problems directed to the family in the Emirate of Sharjah, and activating the role of the Department of Preventive and Remedial Programs in training counselors and trainers to improve the counseling role and keep pace with its developments to overcome the family problems in the Emirate of Sharjah.
