The current study was conducted on patients with diabetes mellitus and those infected with Entamoeba histolytica of those who were admitted and arrived in Salah El-Din General Hospital and some civil laboratories in the city of Tikrit/Salah El-Din Governorate for the period from 1/3/2021 to 1/4/2022 at ages ranging from 20-60 years. The Microscopic examination was used to detect the infection with Amoebiasis in 300 diabetes pations, and also immunological methods were used to measure some criteria (IL-10, TNF-α, CRP, IgM, IgG, IgA), the results indicated a significant increase in The concentration of antibodies (IgM, IgG, IgA) was 14.5 ± 273.3, 116.0 ± 1345.0 and 38.5 ± 441.9 mg/dl, respectively, compared with the control group. The total and complements (C3, C4) were 8.35±65.0, 21.4±222.0 mg/dl, respectively, compared with the control group. 11.6±142.2, 3.94±28.80 mg/dl, respectively, and C-reactive protein (CRP) was 6.300±22.30 mg/dl, 0.937± 2.975 mg/dl in comparison to the control group, and cytokinetics (IL-10, TNF- α) were 9.32± 46.00 and 31.8 ±92.9 pg/ml, respectively, in comparison to the negative control group, 1.21 ±6.48 and 7.18 ±19.60 pg/ml, respectively

This study was conducted in the Graduate Studies Laboratory / College of Education for Pure Sciences - Kirkuk University; 200 swabs were collected from the oral and groin areas of children infected with candidiasis for both inpatients and outpatients at the Children’s Hospital, the Maternity, Gynecology and Children’s Hospital, and Azadi Teaching Hospital in Kirkuk governorate; whose ages ranged from 1 day - 3 years for both males and females; For a period ranging from February-2021 to March 25-2021. The immediate results of the microscopic examination showed that 152 smears (76%) were positive, while the results of culturing the smears on solid Sabouraud medium showed that 140 smears (70%) of the smears showed growth, and 60 smears (30%) of the smears showed no growth.
Five species belonging to the genus Candida were identified by biochemical tests and culture on Chrome Agar Candida medium. Led by the yeast Candida albicans with 74 isolates and (52.85%), followed by Candida tropicalis with 34 isolates and (24.28%), then Candida lusitaniae 13 isolates with a percentage of (9.28%), then Candida krusei with 11 isolates and (7.85%), while Candida glabrata recorded 8 isolates with a percentage of (5.71%).

The current study aimed to detection of bacterial causes of diarrhea in patients with SARS-CoV-2 in Samarraa city, for this purpose, 71 stool samples collected from SARS-CoV-2 patients with diarrhea, bacterial culture techniques, biochemical tests and vitik2 were used. The results showed that out of 71 sample, 45 Gram-negative isolates (63.38%) and 26 Gram-positive isolates (36.62%). Main bacteria spp. Were Escherichia. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella. typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus. fecalis

This study was conducted on water samples from 4 wells in the Balad district, Salah Al-Din Governorate, Iraq, to assess the water quality. Four wells were studied for the period from the month of November 2019 to February 2020, the chemical and physical analyzes were carried out in the Environmental Laboratory of the College of Science, Tikrit University.
Electrical conductivity values rates ranged between (590-3492)µs/cm.pH values rates ranged (7.02-7.85). The sulfate values ranged between (49.672-796.279) mg/L. Dissolved solids of well water were (753-3614) mg/L. Total alkalinity values were low during study period, as recorded (84.5-174.25) mg/L. The chloride ions values rates ranged between (52.5-241.25) mg/L. Reason of groundwater very hardness due to geological factors of study area ,Which was mostly the result of ion bicarbonates , ranging values of total hardness, calcium and magnesium hardness between (795-1905) mg / L, (610-1025) mg / L, (135-1010) mg/L respectively. As for heavy metals, the study recorded values for lead whose rates ranged between (0.355-0.509) mg/L, while zinc recorded values ranging between (0.033- 3.841) mg/L, The results of the study showed that the physicochemical parameters of well water were not conformity with the Iraqi and international specifications for drinking water, except for well 2. The research aims to assess the water quality of some groundwater wells and indicate its suitability for irrigation and drinking in the light of international and Iraqi standards.

This work presents a method for the preparation of imine compounds including Schiff bases derived from vanillin with aniline, o-nitroaniline, o-tolidene and o-chloroaniline. Compounds' structures of the prepared compounds were confirmed by physical methods like melting point, infrared spectroscopy (IR), electronic spectroscopy (U.V), and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR).
The ionization constants of the imine nitrogen proton Ka1 and the phenol hydroxyl group proton Ka2 were determined using the spectrometric titration method at five temperatures including 293,298,303,308 and 313K in a buffer solution medium. The thermodynamic of ionization for imines confirm that ionization reactions in these imines are accompanied by an increase of parameters ∆Gº and ∆Hº. These mean that ionization reactions in these imines are non-spontaneous and endothermic respectively. ∆Sº values of ionization reactions estimated have a negative and a positive signs.

A simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method was described for the determination of Furosemide (FUR). The method is based on the oxidative coupling reaction between Furosemide and 1-Naphthylamine-4-sulfonic acid in the presence of potassium permanganate to form a yellow colored product with maximum absorptions at 465nm, which is soluble in water. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range of 3 to 23㎍.ml-1 with a molar absorptivity of 1.065×104 L.mol-1.cm-1, and Sandell's sensitivity of 0.0310㎍.cm-2, respectively. The correlation coefficient of 0.9994, with recovery average % of 99.948. Limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ) of 0.971㎍.ml- 1 and 3.237 ㎍.ml -1 and a relative standard deviation (RSD) % of 0.641 to 0.812. The proposed method has been used to successfully determine furosemide in pharmaceutical formulations (Tablet).

This study was conducted to measure Zinc levels in environmental and biological samples. The method was tested with three types of samples, including soil, water, and human blood serum. In this method, 50 samples from each soil, water, and human blood serum were used. The water and soil samples were collected from the Baiji oil refinery, while the human blood serum was collected from the patients in the Baiji hospital. The total Zinc concentration in the environmental and biological samples was measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). The results of the Zinc determination were obtained from the samples taken from the soil for each site under examination. The following values showed the mean average concentration for each site, respectively. site 1 (15±3.5), site 2 (11.5±1.1), site 3 (14.5) ±0.5), and site 4 (13.8±3.8) µg/g. Moreover, the Zinc concentration in the water samples was between 3-14.3 µg/ mL. The Zinc concentration in the blood serum samples of the control and the healthy group was 598 ± 32 µg/mL, and in the patient group was 450 ± 16 µg/mL.

Expansive soils have a large variation in volume depending on the quantity of water in them, causing structural and geotechnical problems. Fly ash powder could be used as a stabilizing material for high-plasticity clay in five different locations in Erbil city that has caused damage to different buildings and roads. Grain size analysis, specific gravity, and Atterberg limit were the main methods of physical testing of soils. The expansive soil was stabilized by adding three different percentages of Fly Ash Powder (5%, 10%, and 15%). The results show that liquid limit, plastic limit, and plasticity index were decreased with increasing Fly ash powder to expansive soil. Mineralogically these soils are composed of Montmorillonite, Chlorite, Chlorite- swelling, Kaolinite, Illite, Palygoriskite, and mixed layer - dominated clay mineral components ,and the non-clay minerals consisting of calcite, muscovite, and quartz, and Fly ash powder composed of Muscovite and Calcite

This work depends on detailed petrographic and diagenetic processes studies of collected cutting rock samples, from the Late Jurassic Naokelekan Formation from Ajil-8, Balad-1 and Baiji-1 wells. Based on the thin sections study, the formation contains various petrographic components represented by pelecypods, calcispheres, planktonic and benthonic foraminifera, in addition to the groundmass of micrite and microspars. Many diagenetic processes affected the rock successions such as, compaction, micritization, authigenic minerals (pyrite), cementation, neomorphism, dissolution, porosity, replacement and dolomitization. The detailed microfacies analysis reveals that the rock successions consist mainly of three microfacies including; lime mudstone, which is divided into non-fossiliferous lime mudstone, bioclastic lime mudstone and planktonic foraminiferal lime mudstone, lime wackestone which also divided into calcispheres lime wackestone, benthonic lime wackestone, and pelcypodal lime wackestone, and lime packstone include, bioclastic lime packstone, peloidal lime packstone, and calcispheres lime packestone. The overall characters of these microfacies indicate the formation was deposited in two different environments: (1) shallow marine subtidal environment at the lower and upper parts (2) outer shelf in an euxinic environment at its middle part.

In recent years, non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma has attracted wide interest in industrial and biomedical fields due to its many advantages, such as its high efficiency, simple systems, easy operation, non-toxic residue, and low cost. In this project, non-thermal (cold) plasma generated using a voltage source with a precise frequency (microwave up to 2.4GHz) using argon gas. The electrical properties studied to describe the discharges of argon gas plasma jets at different flow rates (Flow= (1, 2, 3, 4) L/min) and with voltages (150 V). The produced plasma jet column will be analyzed using Optical Emission Spectrometry (OES) technology to determine plasma parameters such as electron temperature (Te), electron density (ne), plasma frequency (fp), Debye length (λD), and Debye (ND) number of the argon plasma jet. We use the Boltzmann plot to determine the electron temperature (Te) in the plasma, and the electron density (ne) is calculated by Stark broadening. The value of the electron temperature decreases from (0.991-1.273) eV and the electron density rises from (2.173-3.664) x1017 cm-3 with higher gas flow rates, also the Plasma plume length rises from (1.1-3.5) cm with higher gas flow rates, while the plasma jet temperature decreased with higher gas flow rates.

In this paper, several innovative designs of axially symmetrical magnetic dipole lenses, which are bipolar lenses with different geometries, were designed, where the outer pole arm indicated by the symbol was changed (hp) with current density (σ = 6 A/mm2) and after designing them, the engineering variables were studied in terms of magnetic properties, then the optical properties were studied in terms of aberrations, i.e. the coefficient of spherical aberration and the coefficient of chromatic aberration, where it was found that there were slight changes in the corresponding spherical aberration As for chromatic aberration and focal length, no noticeable changes occurred.

Recently, educational institutions have resorted to e-learning to train and educate students, especially those who have the desire to develop their scientific levels and develop their skills in quick and inexpensive ways. This paper focuses on measuring the performance of electronic exam systems, which is an important part of the e-learning process, especially the E-exam system used in the Mosul University computer center for examining people who aim to apply for postgraduate studies. The aim of this study is to measure the performance of the electronic examination system in the computer center at the University of Mosul. In this research, a questionnaire was made to measure the success of this system and the extent of users' satisfaction with it and its usefulness to them in performing their electronic exams. An online survey was conducted using a Google form and sent to the participants between August 21, 2021 and October 11, 2021 to find out the satisfaction of the system users. Microsoft Excel 2010 was used for data analyzing and get the results. This study produced several results, the most important of which are: there was a high degree of satisfaction with the E-exam system, reaching 63%; the percentage of neutrality in it was 25%, while rejection was 12%. According to these results, the system gives high confidence to its users.

A new algorithm to improve the security of the transmitted data over the communication channels is presented in this paper. This algorithm is combining Latin square with the modified version of the BB84 Quantum Key Distribution protocol. As the order of the Latin square increases, then N(L^n ), which is the total number of Latin squares of order-n, increases quickly. Moreover, the modified BB84 key distribution protocol is a secure method to exchange the encryption keys between two parties. The reason behind that is that the modified BB84 uses the Legendre symbol to generate the quantum key, and it uses the quantum channel only to perform the distribution process instead of using both channels, classic and quantum, as in the standard BB84 protocol. Therefore, the proposed algorithm is secure, reliable and efficient for future communications
