About the Journal

Description

Al-Noor Journal for Information Technology and Cybersecurity (NJITCS) is a scientific and open-access journal. Publishing under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY) license, this journal has been published quarterly by Al-Noor University, Iraq, since January 2025. The journal’s ISSN is 3078-5367. We are using iThenticate to prevent plagiarism and ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts. A double-blind peer-reviewing system is used to ensure the quality of publications.

Journal Scope

Al-Nour Journal for Information Technology and Cybersecurity welcomes original research papers, review articles, and technical reports that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in the fields of information technology and cybersecurity. The journal focuses on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

Cybersecurity: Threat analysis, intrusion detection, cybersecurity frameworks, cryptography, ethical hacking, and risk management.
Data Protection & Privacy: Secure data storage, privacy-preserving technologies, GDPR compliance, and digital forensics.
Computer Networks: Network architecture, wireless and mobile networks, IoT networks, cloud networking, and network protocols.
Information Systems: Design, implementation, and management of information systems in various sectors.
Electronic Systems & Applications: Embedded systems, smart devices, system integration, and industrial applications.
Software Engineering & Development: Secure software development, testing, maintenance, and agile methodologies.
Artificial Intelligence in Security: Machine learning and AI-based approaches for threat detection and prevention.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary research and studies that explore the integration of emerging technologies in addressing contemporary security challenges. It particularly values contributions that present practical solutions, case studies, and applications relevant to both academic and industrial environments.

Open Access Policy

Noor Journal for Information Technical and Cypersecurity(NJITC) publishes open-access articles, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. The NJITC publisher and editor are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed. All articles published in the NJITC are fully open access; immediately freely available to read, download and share. Articles published in the NJITC are under the terms of a Creative Commons license 4.0 (CC-By), which permits users to read, print and download, or redistribute, translate the article, download for text and data mining purposes, reuse portions or extracts from the article in other works. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through a trustworthy software named iThenticate to be assured about their originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by international reviewers.
