About the Journal
Description
The Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Applications (JAIMA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal established in 2025 by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Anbar. JAIMA publishes high-quality research on the development and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medicine and healthcare, with a focus on improving diagnosis, treatment, clinical decision-making, and patient care.
Journal Scope
JAIMA covers research and applications of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and data-driven technologies in medicine and healthcare. The journal welcomes studies related to medical imaging, clinical diagnosis, precision medicine, cancer research, bioinformatics, multi-omics analysis, electronic health records, clinical decision support systems, drug discovery, wearable sensors, medical IoT, healthcare robotics, wireless sensor networks, explainable AI, trustworthy AI, and ethical, regulatory, and societal issues of AI in healthcare.
Open Access Policy
JAIMA is an open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online immediately after publication without subscription fees or access restrictions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of articles, provided that proper credit is given to the authors and the journal.
