The current research aims to determine the quality standards for the competencies of teachers of outstanding students. The importance of research in the application of quality in education is through the attempt to use studies and research on the development of education and methods and means to achieve the highest performance and effectiveness.
The problem was formulated to investigate the following:

What are the total quality standards in the competencies of the teachers of the outstanding students in high school in Iraq?
The objectives of the research were as follows:
1- Defining quality standards for the competencies of teachers of outstanding students.
2- To recognize the strength of the exercise of competencies by the managers of outstanding students.
The importance of research in:
Teaching competencies are a standard for total quality in public education in Iraq.
Research contributes to improving the level of outstanding students and benefiting from their mental abilities.
The hypotheses were:
There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the implementation of the total quality standards for teachers of outstanding students according to the variable sex (male - female).
There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the implementation of the total quality standards for teachers of outstanding students according to the variable years of service (less than 10 years - 10 and more than 10 years).
The main conclusions were:
1- The results showed that there is a set of competencies that must be met by the teachers of the outstanding students in order to achieve the effective teaching requirements and application the total quality.
The main recommendations were:
The teachers of the outstanding students need a training program in the light of the total quality standards and this is shown through the results obtained by the research after the implementation of the total quality standards.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of gifted student's enrolment in king Abdullah the 2nd distinctive school on social adaptation. The sample of the study consisted of 160 students ( male and female ) 80 of them already enrolled in king Abdullah the 2nd distinctive schools (40 in seventh grade, 20 of which are male students and 20 female students) and (40 in 11th grade, (20 of which are male students and 20 female students). The sample was randomly selected. Another 80 students with same grade levels were selected from regular schools. The scale on social adaptation which was a researcher's developed scale, was administered after validity and relativity were conducted.
Results showed no significant differences between students enrolled at King Abdullah the 2nd distinctive school and those not enrolled in the school on the overall result of the scale. Also results showed a significant difference between 7th grade students and 11th grade students in favor of 11th grade students for those who are enrolled in the school, whereas no significant differences were found based on gender and no significant that can be related to the interaction between the groups, the class and gender of gifted students.

The study aimed to detect the level of the need for Cognition and meta-cognitive thinking for students of the Science Department . The questionnaire was used to detect the level of
need for Cognition and meta-cognitive thinking of the study sample. The results of the study showed that the level of need for Cognition among students in the Department of Science came to a medium degree . The level of meta-cognitive thinking was high. The results showed a positive relationship and significant function between the level of Cognition and the level of cognitive thinking among the students of the Department of Science at the Faculty of Basic Education . Based on these results, the study came out with a number of recommendations, represented by, the importance of focusing on developing the need for Cognition and developing the skills of Cognition needs among students of the Department of Science.

The current study aimed to determine the availability of NCTM standards for professional development in the performance of mathematics teachers in Saudi Arabia according to their self assessment. The study sample consisted of (360) female teachers of mathematics for all educational stages in the public schools in Riyadh city. The researcher followed the descriptive approach in this study. The study tool is the self-assessment scale of mathematics teachers in the light of NCTM standards for professional development was prepared by the researcher.
The results of the study showed that most of the indicators in the "Self-assessment scale of mathematics teachers in the light of the NCTM professional development standards" were classified to a very high degree of applicability. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of mathematics teachers on the scale of "self assessment of mathematics teachers in light of NCTM standards for professional development" attributed to the stage, qualification, specialization and years of experience.
In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a number of recommendations that may contribute to the development of programs for the development of inservice mathematics teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The current research aims to identify:
1 - The level of environmental awareness among students of the University of Sulaymani.
2 - Statistical differences in the level of environmental awareness with gender variables, specialization, school stage, and social background.
The sample consisted of (352) male and female students from the scientific departments in (4) colleges from the University of Sulaymaniyah. The researcher built a tool to achieve the desired results. The validity of the research tool has been investigated by extracting the truth and its stability. The virtual honesty coefficient (90%) of the instruments has been verified. Stability was obtained by re-testing and the correlation coefficient between the two applications was (0.88).
The analytical descriptive approach was used , and also used Alpha Kronbach, Pearson correlation coefficient,
t-test, and the variance analysis as statistical means for analyzing research data. The research reached a number of results, including:
1 - Students have a good knowledge of the environment, and their level exceeds the average in environmental awareness.
2- There are no statistically significant differences according to the gender in the level of environmental awareness.
3- There are no statistically significant differences according to the specialization in the level of environmental awareness.
4 - There are differences of statistical significance according to the stage in the level of environmental awareness for the benefit of students in the first stage.
5- There are no statistically significant differences according to the residence in the level of environmental awareness.
In the light of the results of the research, it was recommended to introduce the subject of environmental education to the curriculum of all stages of study, in accordance with the specificity of the age levels. A comprehensive national research was proposed to measure the level of environmental awareness for all segments of society.

The study problem lies in using traditional methods in teaching and training in most elementary schools. This leads to the student’s receive of information and memorizing it without understanding or comprehension. The significance of the study lies in using concept maps as an aid to represent the relations between thoughts, images, and different words. Those maps are used in the areas of teaching, planning, summarizing, evaluation of study material, assessing the student’s comprehension, as well as assessing the student ability to memorize previous concepts. The study also included the field procedures, the study sample and community, the main experiment, and statistical devices. The last section was devoted to the results, their analysis and discussion.

The current research aims at recognizing the level of internet addiction and the bullying behavior among middle-school students. Furthermore, Theaim of this paper is to identify the significance of differences on the basis of gender variable (male-female) for the above mentioned variables. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher built an internet addiction scale based on (Grohol, 1999) Grohol's Model of Pathological Internet Use. Moreover the researcher adopted Hameed’s scale (2012) for bullying behavior of middle-school students. The researcher has verified the psychometric properties by eliciting the face validity, and reliability of both scales along with the construct validity of Internet addiction scale. The scale consisted of (21) items. The two scales were then applied on the basic research sample of (400) male and female students, who were randomly selected from Diyala province. After that, data were analyzed and statistically processed by using the following statistical means: T- test for one sample, T- tests for two samples, and Pearson correlation coefficient. The researcher reached the following results:-middle-school students suffer from internet addiction, and( 7%) of those students use the internet for more than four hours per day. Moreover, middle-school students have a bullying behavior. Additionally, there is a statistically significant difference between males and females in both internet addiction and bullying behavior and was in favor of males. Finally, this paper found that there is a low direct correlation between internet. addiction and bullying behavior

The research aims to identify: the impact of the hot chair strategy in the achievement and the tendency towards chemistry for students of the fifth grade scientific.In order to validate the research objective and then formulate the following two zero hypotheses:
1- There is no statistically significant difference at (0.05) between the average score of the students of the experimental group who study according to the strategy of the hot chair and the average grades of the control group students who study according to the usual method in the achievement test in chemistry.
2. The researcher chose the experimental design with partial control of two groups that control each other as defined during the period of the experiment. The last four chapters of the book of chemistry for the fifth grade applied scientific, 6, 2016. The behavioral goals were formulated and reached 218 behavioral goals. Teaching of both groups. As for the research tools, the researcher prepared a statistical test consisting of (50) paragraph (46) of the type of the objective questions of the type of multi-test with four alternatives (4 paragraphs) of the type of essay questions according to the experimental map.40 paragraphs) of the type of essay questions according to the experimental map. It has been verified for its validity and stability and following the statistical processing of the data Using a number of statistical methods, the results of the study showed that the students of the experimental group studied according to the strategy of the hot chair on the control group, which is taught according to the usual method in the achievement test and the inclination of science. The goal of the research is to know the emotional freedom of the university students, to know the level of emotional health among the university students, and to know the direction and strength of the relationship between emotional freedom and emotional health of university students.
The research sample consisted of (667) female students in the morning colleges for the academic year 2016-2017, randomly chosen.
In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the measure of emotional freedom was constructed from the researcher, after he followed the scientific steps in its construction and verifying its validity and stability. The measure may be in the final form of (24) paragraphs. The researcher has achieved the cycometric characteristics of the scale. The stability coefficient was 0.88 and stability was obtained by the method of the internal consistency coefficient. The stability factor was 0.82. The second tool is emotional health. The measure may be in the final form Of the (49) paragraph, has been achieved The stability coefficient was 0.88, stability was obtained by the internal consistency coefficient method, and the stability coefficient (0.85) was obtained.
When the study data were statistically treated using the T-test for one sample and the Pearson correlation coefficient, the results showed that the individuals in the research sample had emotional freedom relative to the theoretical average and with significant differences on the measure of emotional freedom. The results of Pearson correlation coefficient showed a strong positive relationship between emotional freedom and emotional
health. The researcher came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions

This study aims at investigating :
1-The degree of Educational Counselors Ego –Resiliency Among Preparatory Stage Students .
2- Is the level Cognitive Distortion Among Preparatory Stage Students.
3-The relationship between the Educational Counselors Ego – Resiliency and the Cognitive Distortion Among Preparatory Stage Students.
4-Difference in relationship according to sex variable . To achieve the aim of the present study , The researcher adopted a Block Scale (Ego- Resilience Scale 1989) " Jack Block '' Standard by (Ghani 2010) to measure the Educational Counselors Ego –Resiliency , and adopted the scale of ( Cognitive Distortion Inventory) .(Yurica & DiTomaso, 2001 ) Which standardized by ( Al-saadawi 2014) ,after applying the scales to the sample study , which consist of (200) male and female students of the high school , the results showed that the Educational Counselors Ego –Resiliency was ( low ) , while the degree of Cognitive Distortion deformity was ( high ) , and the relationship between the two variables was (negative and reverse ) , the results also showed that there was not statistically significant differences between the two variables .

This research aims to know the effect of Planned organizational cognitive on the attainment for second elementary female students in the subject of dictation. The society sample contained two groups, experimental group of (33 female students) and control group of (32 female students) at second grade elementary school. after equalizing between the two groups according to chronicle age and last year grades in Arabic subject, the experiment started at the beginning of second semester and finished in 10/5/2016 and after extracting the average of sequenced tests for the female students of both groups using T-Test for two independent samples, it appeared that the calculate mark (4.76) is higher than the schedule (2.00) at level (0.05) with free degree (63). This indicates the superiority of experimental female students group on control female students group. This superiority of experimental group on control group happened at the dictation subject because of using planned organizational cognitive which give happiness and self-relief to female students. Besides, this scientific material draws the attention the female students and implants the spirit of cooperation, confidence, and increases their activity inside the classroom.
At the end of the experiment the researcher introduced some instructions some of which to follow organizational cognitive in teaching dictation and to train the teachers (both male and female) that teach Arabic Language and on how to implement these steps.

This study aims at investigating The Effect of Wax’s Model in Acquiring Historical Concepts and Developing Historical Thinking among the Students of the First Intermediate Class. The researcher used an experimental design with partial control and a pretest and a posttest. He chose section C to represent the experimental group that studies according to Wax model. Section A represented the control group that study according to the traditional method. There were 68 students with 34 student in each section. The two sections were equalized in the variables of age, intelligence, and score of previous year. The researcher prepared the two assessment tools: historical concept test, and historical thinking test. The validity and reliability of the tools were verified. The researcher used t-test to process the data. The results showed that the experimental group which studied according to Wax model in acquiring historical concepts and historical thinking skills prevailed. It is recommended to adopt this model in teaching

The objective of this study was to identify the obstacles facing the implementation of quality management standards in the second and third Rasafa educational directorates hence to suggest the appropriate solutions. All fourty two administration supervisor of both Rasafa Educational directorates were selected to be the sample of this study. Data for this study were collected through a questioner prepared by both researches for this purpose. An appropriate statistical tools were used for the analysis of the results achieved in this study. The study has come out with number of findings, most of which confirmed the existence of real obstacles face the implementation of quality management standards such as lack of knowledge and experience in the mechanism of implementing quality programs amongst school principals and teaching staff. Based on the results achieved in this study, researchers suggested number of recommendations, the most important of which is the development of training programs to all school teaching staff and providing the required financial support for the implementation of the quality systems.

The importance of this research lies in developing the sport of volleyball in an appropriate way through learning important basic skills within the perfect usage of the wanted educational practices like confirmed exercises. By this the researcher puts a scientific information between the hands of teachers and educators on the role of this exercise and its different forms which depend on certain limitations like distance and direction in achieving advanced and good results of the volleyball game.
The aims of this research were: putting confirmed exercises according to variables of distance and direction in learning some volleyball basic skills for beginners.
The researcher depended on an experimental method because of being suitable for the problem of research. After implementing statistical means, most important conclusions: confirmed exercises according to variables of distance and direction has an effect on learning some volleyball basic skills for beginners.

The following recommendations were suggested: depending on confirmed exercises according to variables of distance and direction because of having effect in learning some volleyball basic skills for beginners.

Academic atychiphobia happens among students when they experience anxiety and fear during evaluation situations and losing the attention of the people they care about ,especially, parents as a result of failure to give them the academic level that they ask for. Students face continuous pressure caused by memorization, preparation to exams, fear of academic future. Academic atychiphobia is one of those pressures.
Adolescence is apparently one of the general and important topics of interest among the community ,especially, psychologists and educators. Atychiphobia can positively or negatively affect the human will and motivation. Its effect can reach to mental illness that needs treatment. The weak attainment of the students is sometimes not attributed to intelligence level or personality defects. It is more related to the lack of correct memorization habits.
The present study aims at investigating the correlation between academic atychiphobia and memorization habits among the students of preparatory stage. This study was limited to the fifth literary grade of morning classes in the center of Baqubah city under the Directorate of Education in Diyala in the academic year 2017-2018. The sample of the study consisted of 200 students chosen randomly. The researcher used Academic atychiphobia scale (Abbas 2014) and memorization habits scale (Al Qassabi 2010) after applying their psychometric properties. The researcher used Pearson correlation coefficient and T test for single sample to extract the study results. The results showed that there is a positive correlation between academic
atychiphobia and memorization habits. In the light of the results several recommendations and suggestions were presented

This study aims at Evaluating the Performance of History Teaching Staff Members in the University of Diyala According to Active Teaching Principles. The study sample consisted of 75 history staff members in the University of Diyala for the academic year 2017-2018 which was chosen randomly. The researcher prepared a questionnaire for evaluating teaching staff members according to active learning principles. It included five aspects: aims, scientific-historical research, teaching methods, teacher, evaluation. The questionnaire included 21 items in its final version. The items’ psychometric properties were extracted using percentage. The study reached to a set of results that showed the commitment of teaching staff to active learning principles. The study ended with a set of recommendations and suggestions.
The researcher recommended:
1. The attention to the courses and symposiums of teaching methods in the university that develop the principles of active learning.
2. Adopting the principles of active learning in teaching the students of the university of Diyala, colleges of Education for Humanities and Basic Education to develop teaching and modern teaching methods

This research aims to identify the level of self-differentiation for female students at Intermediate Schools. The sample has been randomly from society of research about (600 female students) at selected Intermediate Schools at Baqubah Provence related to General Directorate of Education in Diyala. The researchers constructed a measurement for self-differentiation depending on theory of Herman Witkin (Witkin 1974). The measurement was formed of (34 items) divided on three domains. The truth validity has been calculated in several ways and also stability by ways of re-test and Cronbach Alpha method. The stability factor has reached (0.84 and 0.80) respectively. The researchers implemented the measurement in its final form on the sample of implementation about (210 female students). The results of researched showed that the sample of study was weak in acquiring self-differentiation.
