This research aims at studying a grammatical measurement in the view of linguistic system of Arabic language, which differs from instructional, abstractive, logical and mental system and intersected with it a lot. The grammarians study –especially latest grammarians-the measurement in the view of mental system, therefore, a lot of linguistic materials have been lost and other materials have been added from outside the Arabic utilized linguistic system.

Eight conducted soil survey projects were chosen due to their sedimentation processes distribution between rivers Euphrates (Al-Musseiyab, Al-Lattifiya, Hilla-Kifl and Um Al-Akaf) and Tigris (Awasit Dijla, Kut, Wihda and Lower Diyala) in Mesopotamianplain. Then soil map unites areas and frequencies were measured fir these projects, to use them in the application of Lorenz curve depending on type of internal drainage of soil series (map unit), and results showed that there is a significant variation for units of well drained types rather than imperfectly well drained units, also that was found in frequencies in Euphrates river projects. While projects lie on Tigris had a significant variations in areas and frequencies of the imperfectly well drained units rather than the well drained ones.Index of concentration values were higher in areas of map units (0.363), while in frequencies was (0.331), then variance values also indicated that the variation in map unit areas (0.180) was higher than in frequencies (0.155) for all projects.

This research paper is an attempt at placing Harold Pinter’s view of Iraqwithin his general humanitarian, political and antiwar outlook. The text selected for analysis is his verse volume War, published in 2003. The paper traces Pinter’s interest in Iraq as reflected in his writings and speeches from the early1990s to his 2005 Nobel Prize acceptance speech in order to provide the background against which the volume is analyzed

The era of Tokugawa regime which was extended from 1603 until 1868 have been considered by many historians and political scientist through their analyzation as the most important stage in Japanese modern history. Their Judgments depended upon the regime's achievements such as stability, peace, national unity, social harmony and acceptable level of prosperity. All these accomplish –ments paved the way for " Meiji Ishin (or Meiji Restoration) who engaged in whole sale borrowing of western institutions and practices in addition to that they hired foreign consultants to advise them how to rebuilt Japan in western methods instead of Chinese . The Tokugawa might not have been able to maintain so stable a system of rule or such great social fluency if they had not also isolated Japan from upsetting foreign influences the sixteenth century –The direct threat to Japan by Imperialism came in the mid –nineteenth century –To this challenge Tokugawa regime responded with much greater speed and far success than china . No wars were fought no smuggling trade of opium developed no territory was lost. The Shogunt ' capitulation in 1853 meant the ultimate collapse in 1868 after it had laid the fundamentals basis transformation Japan from Feudal state into centralized national state .

This study discuss three purport phenomena's in chants (kind of singing Arabic pomes (Mowashahat)) of poet Sader Al-deen Ibn Al-wakeyl (716 hijre) pronunciational verbal synonym, purporting possibility and Arability (translation into Arabic), all these, reflecting the extension of Arabic language and it's flexibility on the purports similarity, also their branches as well as developing it's vocabulary especially in field of translation into Arabic and borrowing from another languages. It was take part assistance in this field with lexicon and Arabic collection of poems from many ages to be a witness to these phenomena, also in this study approached on the literature field (briefly) to these recitalists and we declared the literature arts and rhetoric by analysis one of these chants, and how the poetexpress in many ways beautifully other researcher didn't take it before about this poet due to not published (manuscript). For that reason we obliged our self to focus on this very important part of poet's wonderful personality sincerely.

The research offers a discourse analysis of the interactionlevel of organization in Synge's one-act play Riders to the Sea. The analysis carried out anchors upon the identification and interpretation of the densities of lexical repetition in the dramatic discourse of the data.The aim sought is to reveal the validity of the hypothesisthat the playwright'schoice of lexis in a one-actplay shows its plot development in addition to the three basic unities of time,place and action.The analysis showsthat the identification of the recurrent deictic lexical items referring to spatio –temporal entities and actions leads to the specification of these three entities.Accordingly, the data revealsobvious unities of time,place,and action since the whole of the action takes place within twelve hours in the kitchen of a fisherman'scottage

The present study is an endeavor to apply the speech act theory to the American English proverbs and analyze them in away similar to that used in conversational speech acts in spoken language. The study concentrates on the speech act of advice to show whether it is subjected to certain rules and distinctive semantic meanings that prevent it from becoming misfire.This research is of a two fold function: The first one is devoted to the definition of proverb and its linguistic and the nonlinguistic characterization. It focuses on different aspects such as the etymological background, and the different definitions of proverb proposed by different scholars and linguists. The second one is devoted to the investigation and analysis of the proposed speech act, namely: advice in American English proverbs. The analysis will cover three levels: pragmatic, Semantic, and structural level to get a full account of this type of meaning.

The study deals with the structure of Rhymeand Its stylistic influence on the anthology made by immigrant poet Elia Abu Madhi, my work was within the bound of Rhyme which is a feature in the nature of Arabic and the Mechanism of structure, in addition to the fact of following up of what is determined by Rhyme in the (poetics).The boundary of Rhyme in the critical Arabic feeling is depending on an assortment of voices formed at the end of verse line to form the fundamental part of the Rhyme.

Both Abou Nuas and Abin Hamdies agree in their view toward the life balance that man creates. Accordingly, they called for drinking wine and singing settings. Wine was among the main poetic wine as an agent of over coming the misery of life, consequently to escape from reality.Thus،our research aims to compare between two elements that are separated by time, but the poetic devices were within the poets. Each of them lived in age in which life was similarand reflected in their poetry. Despite of the difference of motivation, we did witness that them are similarity in both Poets. Their thoughts coincided with each other in depicting the artistic in age in Abin Hamdies and Abou Nuas. Their poetic featuresshare one purpose it was the poetry of wine

The term topic has been defined by so many linguists and scholars corresponding to their interests and purposes, yet no comprehensive and accurate definition has been stimulated to convey all the essential features of this term.The research is an endeavor to shed some light on four main trends that define the term topic. The first one looks at the topic as a structure which could be grammatical and informational. The second sees Topic as an entity that is to say a discoursal rather than a sentential process. The third one considers Topic as a message of two types : Local topic which is identified in terms ofthe semantic relationships set up between the successive sequences of sentences of a discourse, or rather the propositions (idea units) they express.(b) Global topic is concerned with the meaning of large discourse chunks. Finally the fourth one which focuses on topic as a level that spells out the subject-matter a certain chunk of discourse

This paper aims at investigating the historical realities presented in Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities
