Abstract
The present work include preparation and characterization of ethane dial bis [(5-methyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)hydrazine] as ligand ,the new complexes were prepared from the reaction of ligand with the transition metal salts (CuCl2.6H2O, NiCl2.6H2O, CoCl.6H2O, FeCl3.6H2O, CrCl.6H2O). The elemental analysis (C.H.N), Mass spectra, Infrared(IR) spectroscopy, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (1H-NMR), UV-Visible spectroscopy and molar conductivity techniques were used to characterize the structure formula of these ligand and their complexes. The complexes of [Cr(III),Fe(III),Co(III)] for ligand have shown octahedral configuration. Complexes of Ni(II) and Cu(II) have shown tetrahedral configuration, Semi-empirical method was used for calculating the Infrared spectra for the ligand and their complexes. A comparison with the experimental data has also been done. The Semi-empirical PM3 method was used in calculating the total energy (binding energy, complexation energy and the enthalpies of formation), bond length for the ligand and their metal complexes

تم تحضير وتشخيص المركب Ethane dial bis[(5-methyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)hydrazine] كليكاند ومعقداته مع العناصر الانتقالية (Cu+2 , Ni+2 , Cr+3 , Co+3 , Fe+3 ) وباستخدام تقنيات Mass, CHN, H1-NMR, IR,U-V . وتمت دراسة المركبات المحضرة نظرياً باستخدام برنامج Hyper chem. حيث تمت دراسة استقراريه المركبات المحضرة من خلال دراسة طاقة استقرار المركبات وتحديد المواقع التي يمكن أن يحصل معها التعقيد. وتم حساب طيف الأشعة تحت الحمراء نظرياً وتمت مقارنته مع القيم العملية ووجدت بأنها متطابقة
