Abstract:
The Most Beautiful Names (al-asma’ al-husna) are mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, and linguists and exegetes have attempted to explain their meanings, sometimes relying on the meaning of the root, at other times on morphological significance, and occasionally drawing benefit from the context in which they appear. After researching and investigating the meanings of these names and attributes in the books of exegesis, I found that a number of them were explained by the Pure Imams (peace be upon them), such as: al-Rahman, al-Rahim, al-Ahad, al-Samad, al-Wahid, and others. Therefore, I deemed it appropriate to compile what was narrated from Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) regarding these significations, comparing them with what the linguists and exegetes have said. And since the number of these names exceeds ninety, the research will be limited to those for which I found statements from the Imams, and not others. The nature of the research required that I divide it into an introduction devoted to the discussion on the Most Beautiful Names in general, then proceed to mention these names and clarify their meanings, beginning with the verse in which the name appeared, then what the linguists have said, followed by its meanings in the narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Abstract:
The narrative methodology is considered one of the most important approaches that has received great attention from exegetes, due to its precision in determining the intended meaning of the Holy text. The Imami Shi’a have paid special attention to this methodology, as the narrations provide a different or additional interpretive dimension to the apparent meaning of the text, which clarifies the great necessity for all those who are legally accountable to give attention to what has reached us from our Imams (peace be upon them). And although the Holy verses from the final part of Surah Al-Furqan have moral and devotional contents, and have been written about from various Islamic sects, I did not find any study that specialized in the narrative methodology regarding them. Therefore, the focus of this research was on collecting the narrations mentioned in them in one place, to facilitate access to them, as well as to clarify that status which may be unknown to many of the followers or those who differ from them, hoping for acceptance and satisfaction from Allah, and praise be to Allah, first and last.

Abstract:
Perhaps the scarcity of the prophetic interpretation is due to a wisdom intended by Allah, Glorified be His Majesty, which is that the Qur’an remains an open book through time; for had the Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) interpreted it for the Arabs according to what their time could bear and their minds comprehend, the Qur’an would have become stagnant—stagnation that ages and eras would crush with their tools and means. For the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) are definitive in meaning; however, he left the history of humanity to interpret the Book of humanity. So reflect on the wisdom of that (miraculous) silence.
Therefore, this research is derived from (the sources of the mainstream school exclusively), selecting quotations and interpretive insights to find a logical solution closer to acceptance: that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) interpreted the holy Qur’an on two levels: (the general level), within the limits of necessity and the requirements of the actual situation—thus he did not encompass the entire Qur’an; and (the specific level), which was a comprehensive and complete interpretation with the aim of creating someone who would carry the legacy of the Holy Qur’an and merge with it completely to the extent that would enable him to be a reference thereafter. This is supported by the recurrent texts indicating that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) established the principle of the authority of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Abstract:
The Holy Qur’an is that Book in which there is no doubt, revealed by the Almighty Creator as guidance and light for all worlds. It is the miracle of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), with its linguistic, rhetorical, and scientific miracles, its mention of the unseen, and the stories of past nations and their conditions, which the Almighty narrated in a wonderful and precise style characterized by the completeness of narrative elements: narrator, recipient, characters, time, place, events, and dialogue — all formulated in an excellent style. The Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) had contributions in addressing the narration of Qur’anic stories and clarifying the lessons and morals derived from them. They were keen to connect them with the reality of the society in which they lived, in an attempt to enrich the cultural, educational, and moral awareness among the members of the society. We have observed that they adopt a comparative style between the events of those stories and their present time and the circumstances they experienced. Therefore, this research seeks to explore their narrations in Qur’anic stories and to clarify the most important contents they included — contents that go beyond the purely religious level to include morals and education.

Abstract:
The study of the issues of prophethood and imamate is among the important subjects in the creed of a Muslim after the subject of monotheism. They are considered among the foundational pillars upon which the structure of Islamic thought is established. Prophethood is a divine station chosen by Allah for those He tested and found worthy of this position, so He made them means of guidance and righteousness and callers to His path with wisdom and good exhortation, in order to achieve the divine objective, which is servitude to Allah Almighty alone. Therefore, He entrusted to His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to some of the previous messengers a level of authority over the nation, which is the imamate, and He commanded obedience to them, for obeying them is obeying Allah, and their authority is the authority of Allah. The imamate is the counterpart of prophethood and the complementary part of that divine path. Allah the Exalted said: ﴿You are only a warner, and for every people is a guide﴾ [Surah Ar-Ra’d: 7]. So, warning is the function of the prophet, and guidance is the function of the imam. There is a complementary connection between prophethood and imamate—what prophethood begins is completed by imamate. The relationship between them has existed since they were one light in the knowledge of Allah, and He divided that light into the light of prophethood which manifested in Abdullah (peace be upon him) to become the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the light of imamate which manifested in Abu Talib to become the light of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

Abstract:
The issue of the manuscript Qur’ans attributed to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has sparked debate among researchers and scholars. One group holds that these Qur’ans are indeed correctly attributed to the Imam (peace be upon him), while another group rejects the authenticity of this attribution. Each side has its own evidence upon which it relies. In this study, I presented the manner in which these manuscript Qur’ans have been attributed to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the motives behind such attribution. I then cited the views of scholars and researchers who support or reject the attribution, along with their evidence. I concluded the research by rejecting the authenticity of this attribution to Imam Ali (peace be upon him), relying on historical, scientific, and technical evidence.

Abstract:
The great status of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in the Islamic system in general, and in understanding, explaining, and interpreting the Holy Qur’an in particular, cannot be denied. The books of history, exegesis, and hadith are rich with this, across all Islamic schools and beyond. He (peace be upon him) classified the verses of the Holy Qur’an and placed each category in its proper context. He supported this type of classification with explanatory hadiths that clarify and mention specific examples related to those Qur’anic classifications. Thus, he (peace be upon him) would mention a hadith about certain Qur’anic sciences, followed by one or more hadiths illustrating them with clear Qur’anic examples. He (peace be upon him) mentioned in a single hadith sixty sciences of the Holy Qur’an. And since the scope of this research does not allow for mentioning all his classifications (peace be upon him) of the Qur’anic sciences, we have limited it to specific sciences sufficient to fulfill the purpose.

Abstract:
The interpretation of the Qur’an by the Qur’an is considered one of the most prominent methodologies known from Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), for they were its founders, as evidenced by what has been transmitted from them in terms of clarification of the sciences of the Holy Qur’an and knowledge of its subtleties and treasures. Since interpretation, in one of its meanings, is the clarification and exposition of the intended matter to the audience, whoever undertakes this task must be characterized by eloquence, clarity, and knowledge of the sciences of the Qur’an. We do not find these comprehensive qualities except in Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Their interpretation of the Qur’an by the Qur’an was an exegetical method relying on the Qur’anic text itself through the connection of verses and their meanings with other verses. In this humble study, we attempted to compile what was narrated from the Pure Imams (peace be upon them) of Qur’anic texts they interpreted, showing the uniqueness of their interpretation—especially the verses related to cosmic unseen matters and other sciences that were exclusively possessed by them.

Abstract:
Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) are the reference for knowledge after the Greatest Messenger (may Allah bless him and his family), and they are the trustees of the upright religion; therefore, knowing them, being loyal to them, and following their path is the most correct way to understand the Qur’an and its sciences. The Holy narrations clarify for us the unique capacities and abilities possessed by Ahl al-Bayt of infallibility (peace be upon them), which qualify them to lead the exegetical process and sciences in general. Among the interpretive topics in which Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) were pioneers is their explanation of revelation; they divided it into seven types: the revelation of prophethood and messengership, the revelation of inspiration, the revelation of indication, the revelation of decree, the revelation of command, the revelation of falsehood (satanic whisperings), and the revelation of report. These seven types also have further subdivisions branching from them.
In this research, we will examine those types and their branches in the narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), showing their uniqueness in such explanation.
