This study explores the concept of "The Rhetoric of Intent" as a critical lens for understanding the Prophetic discourse, employing a pragmatic and rhetorical approach, It begins with the premise that the Prophetic discourse goes beyond mere communication to actively seek influence, aiming to achieve religious, educational, and social objectives through precise, context-sensitive linguistic strategies, The research focuses on analyzing selected Hadiths in terms of their rhetorical structure and pragmatic functions—such as directive, pedagogical, cautionary, and declarative intents—demonstrating how the speaker's intention harmonizes with the communicative context, The findings reveal that the rhetoric of intent forms a vital link between sacredness and humanity, serving as an effective reformative tool that activates all elements of communication within a nified and impactful discourse.

This research highlights how Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) em ployed the use of questions as a rhetorical and educational tool in his speeches. Then, it clarifies how a question becomes a means of redirecting the audience towards Allah, the Almighty, correcting the concepts of worship, and strengthening true compliance with divine
commands through a pragmatic, analytical approach based on speech act theory. The research reveals unconventional dimensions in the legacy of the Imam, combining literature, preaching, and persuasion.
It emphasizes the question as an educational mechanism for shaping religious consciousness and developing critical thinking. It also dis cusses the cultural and political context of the discourse of the Imam, showing how he transforms a question into a tool for building a resis tant consciousness that transcends a restrictive political environment
and redefines the relationship between the audience and spiritual purpose. A renewed critical reading is presented in this research to highlight the profound pedagogical and rhetorical dimensions in the discourse of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him)

The discourse of imam Al-Ridha (peace be upon him) is predi cated on invoking shared values and argumentative positions. This approach entails constructing arguments based on mutual points of agreement between the discourse participants, serv ing as a potent and overarching influence on the psyche of the recipient. It is also evident that a "universal recipient" is a tar geted and anticipated audience in the discourse of the Imam, even if this recipient is rare, potential, or non-existent, due to his religious obligations. He extensively alludes to religious and ethical values, supported by various positions, whether en gaged in dialogue, debate, or merely conveying information.
His discourse suggests a value-based model—a foundation for realizing this model or completing what is incomplete in reali ty. Concurrently, his discourse subtly incorporates an argument of aversion to an opposing or contradictory model, or, in other words, an argument for excluding that opposing model, which may be flawed. The values and positions this discourse were in tended to influence the recipient, eliciting either acceptance and
approval or rejection and disapproval. Consequently, the recipi ent is compelled to engage with the argumentative process until its intended outcomes are realized, thereby becoming an active participant in their reproduction. The life of scholars is a source of radiant thought, a source of goodness, an overflowing source of wisdom, and an energy in science and literature from which sincere faith and true belief are inspired. There is no one in the nation equal to the imams of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, in their virtue, not to mention the high and clear level of rhetoric in their sermons and sayings.
Among these imams, Imam Muhammad Ali Al-Jawad, peace be upon him, stands out as a unique model in using eloquence in a deep and authentic manner. This research was titled The Rhetoric of Discourse According to Imam Al-Jawad, peace be upon him, through which we aim to study and analyze the Imam’s discourse through the perspective of rhetoric, which is considered one of the foundations of the rhetorical sciences. Focus thisThe study analyzes the methods of discourse that Imam Al-Jawad, peace be upon him, relied on in his various positions, highlighting how he used language artistically and rhetorically to convey messages and intellectual concepts. In this research, we relied on an analytical approach to these sayings, which explains the meaning of words and phrases from the perspective of rhetoric, paying attention to rhetorical tools such as simile, metaphor, metonymy, and metonymyIt reveals how these methods helped reinforce the messages that the Imam was sending to various groups of society. He used rhetoric to present religious and ideological concepts in targeted ways while maintaining the simplicity and depth of the discourse at the same time.

Repentance emerges as one of the themes and artistic expressions in the poetry of Abu Nawas, which he resorted to in his later life after having lived a life full of pleasures, revelry, and wine, and the gatherings of entertainment. He ceased to indulge in amusements and wine after his repentance. In the poetry of repentance, several artistic forms enriched the text and gave it a poetic quality, steering it away from direct speech to broader and more profound meanings. This research reveals repentance and its indications in the poetry of Abu Nawas, highlighting its artistic and creative values, including rhetorical arts, notably antithesis, contrast, and parallelism. The text also features rhetorical figures like metaphor, metonymy, and simile. Creative poetic imagery was one of the primary tools this research aimed to capture.

This research began by presenting the views of Muslim thinkers from the theories of the origin of language, especially the theories of suspension and terminology. The research is that most of the fundamentalists of the Imamiyyah embraced the statement of the idiomatic formation of the language, and based on their saying this, they put three paths to the situation: the commitment, the certain century, and the consideration.
The attention of this research was focused on the course of consideration, and I presented the sayings of the owners of this path, which was represented by their talk about the existence of three aspects in which this path was presented, and my presentation of the opinions of the path of consideration was accompanied by a presentation of the most important linguistic and semiotic visions that agreed with this path, and I accompanied all this with the presentation of the responses of the two great scholars, Mr. Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei and Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr on the path of consideration.
